Y'all started watching already? I got the Rams. I'm hoping Goff doesn't buckle under pressure like usual. I just can't handle another Tom Brady win and an entire year of Shrimp Bayless Trolling and Colin Cowher with his dumbass analogies. No matter what though it will be a great game.

That Pepsi commercial would have been harmless and throwaway on any other year, but I'm just struck by how not funny Steve Carrell is now. What happened?

I remember seeing him in 40 Year Old Virgin, and loving every second, thinking we were entering a new golden age of cinema and television. (And with The Sopranos, Deadwood, and The Wire being the standard for new television, who could blame me?) It's really a shame that within ten years of that movie coming out, I lost interest in almost all new TV and film. All of it.

I was a huge movie buff from the early 1990s. I can name major films I've seen and loved from all the way back in 1915. I wanted to act or direct for a while, and planned my week around going to the movies. I'm just stunned at how fast it all happened.

There's a lifetime of old media to get lost in, though - lately I've been drowning in nostalgia, watching a bunch of Looney Tunes chased with Ren and Stimpy. Cartoons my dad loved followed by what I loved. Kids today will never know real entertainment.

Shitty halftime show... Shitty commercials... Shitty game. It's a struggle if I'll stay with this.

Mind you NE always starts slow in Super Bowls as Bellicheck ALWAYS parks and chills and waits to see what schemes the other team is doing, then actually puts forth the real game plan in the 2nd half. He always does this so expect NE to get points.

It is more telling the Rams didn't do shit and got no yards. Todd Gurley is a corpse (still) and for the Rams that gotta get points to survive, it isn't looking good for them. The Rams defence isn't going to win them games, they need points. Looks like NE's game to loose to be quite honest.

Geoff getting exposed as a "system" QB, he can't give you any magic if the system plays designed for him are not available. This was a criticism of him early, and you see how he struggles to create anything outside of what is prepared. 2 weeks to prepare for him and with Gurley literally, being a ghost out there, NE defense is looking All-Pro when they are far from it.

All that effort for 3 damn points. I'm just saying here for NE to find a crack in the Rams D and start running it up. Only salvation is that this shitty molasses game will give us s tight 4th quarter but by that time how many people still watching? You ignore the score, you can watch the 15min highlight pack video and get all the action of the game.
