I may be wrong, but for some reason I assume you have not been married before. There is a famous joke that applies to beta-marriages, according to which the bride smiles because from now on she will not have to suck his dick any more. I may be wrong again, but for some reason I am not yet convinced that this danger does not apply to you too. So my suggestion to you is to assume the worst, calculate your costs and benefits, and minimize your exposure to risks.

I know what you are talking about but between my masters and starting the six figure job, i was dependent on her. We went to New York afterwards and she paid her and her kids part entirely.


She encourages me to start on my business idea even after knowing it would mean her supporting me. She makes it a point to give a part of her income for charity. She was brought in a religious conservative family and i see lot of values from that upbringing.

She has also been talking about helping my parents with their house and stuff. I may have got lucky on this one
