I woke up today after a good night's rest and took a healthy dump.

I'm not being facetious with that statement. Looking back over the past 5 days and nothing significant has particularly happened to me; but the simple fact that all of us woke up this morning (and in good health, God willing) is in itself a great thing. It's cliché, but everyday we wake up is a blessing. Everything else is gravy for the rest of the day.

I enjoy this thread and I look forward to reading the stories from fellow posters. I'm a pessimist by nature, and it's something I am working on daily to change. This thread, and your positive stories, are just more stepping stones in my path to becoming more optimistic about this thing we call life.

Got a raise and a promotion last week - lots of work to be done and lofty pipeline quota goals.

I wanted a somewhat manager position and got it - it's long overdue - now I need to produce.

In line with Kaotic I ,too, have been given more responsibility and latitude to run my section of the company how I see fit. Being that my boss is the owner of our multi-million dollar a year company(only 5 employees) I know he will be giving me a bigly pay raise when I have proven I could of course handle the extra workload. Private owners either really know how to take care of their employees and pay them well or they can be the worst. Thank fully my boss is of the former type.

Also more positive news is that I am going to be a father to a little boy soon. Just found out the gender this past weekend and couldn't be happier. We are going to make sure that the red pill is a part of his life, that he become self reliant and mimic our EGK in all that he does as he becomes a fully actualized masculine man to carry on the family name. Very excited to raise this boy. Make America Masculine Again!

My grandfather passed away just under a year ago. He was man I greatly admired and respected. Everyone in my family and every one that dealt with him did. He was a WWII bomber navigator vet and today I wore one of his England bomber reunion shirts to work to honor him while he rests in peace. Two people commented on it and I told them the story about it and my grandfather. Feel I upheld his honor very well today.

I'm going to make it a goal to post something in this thread every day no matter how bad or good. Anyone with me?

I think it's important to be grounded and aware we live in such an easy time in human history and be thankful for it. While many men have to create struggle in their life these days to retain mental peace and sanity, in many other ages of men struggle was thrust upon them. We are the descendents of the struggle and embracing of it.

I've begun to venture into new opportunities and I feel the universe is welcoming me into it and the journey has begun. Have struggled with inaction for many years, this year alone I have done many things that I would have never thought of. Look forward to the remainder of the year to reach new heights. I've managed to build and outsource everything in my business (apart from acquiring more clients) which I have only been running for the last year. Did this all while holding down a full time job.

I've also managed to hit a 6 figure yearly income. I'm on track to double that in the next year.

I'm off to Thailand for 3 weeks with my bi girlfriend to go and bang Thai girls together. All while I'm still bringing in $2500 a week and not lifting a finger.

Life is pretty fuckin amazing at the moment.

Well, I can't top Pialox, but I just left a Fortune 500 firm where I hit a diversity cieling. Landed a better job, 20% better pay, better commute, better perqs, better appreciated. CEO is a Trumper.

Had a day full of networking. Met at least three people who said they could help me out with clients. The ball is rolling and is picking up speed.

I started working out again after months of half assing workouts twice a week. Now I'm back to some sort of exercise(be it weights, cardio, core, etc) every day of the week. I'm also fine tuning my diet.

Shits coming together and I couldn't be happier.

Bought 60 rounds of ammunition from my local Cabela's and it malfunctioned (primers coming out of the casings). Didn't have receipt and already went through 14 rounds, Cabela's took all of it back and gave me credit for it so I was able to exchange for new ammo. Looking forward to shooting this weekend.

Been watching a lot of hunting videos/shows lately and it's been really getting me horny for the season coming up. Getting my hunting license soon and hopefully take down an elk this fall.

My strength training has been going very well and I'm testing my one rep maxes again over the next week. Predicting that I've got some solid gains coming my way.

Went to help my best friend on building site and had a lot of fun. After dinner I did first running after few weeks recovery and it was great. And generally, this is the first day I am feeling good after some days (rather weeks).

Slept at the park and had my phone jacked whilst sleeping, on the way to the cyber (to change password for accounts), got splashed by a car. Great test of my patience am okay and I'm grateful to live another day with good health.

I've exercised consistently for nearly two weeks. This is after many months of inconsistency; where I would exercise two days and stop for a while. It was very sporadic. This habit will form if I keep it up.

I also made a little money helping an elderly couple out with their grass. It felt good

Went to a rock show with my older brother last night, and we're going again tonight. I don't get to see him that much since he has a family and I don't reach out often- even though we live in the same city.
He recently started a new job at a smaller firm, but is now a partner and getting tons of new clients. He seems very happy, and I know he was looking for a long time while at the other firm. After the show we took a walk up to his office. It was spacious and high up, and had an awesome view facing west towards the river.

I feel really happy for him that he's doing well.

I went to my grandmas nursing home and ate breakfast with her and her old people friends. They have one of those omelet guys.

Every weekend I meet up with a group of friends and play badminton. Recently I've been meeting more people there that share things in common with me. There's a small group of people around my age that all studied the same subject in post-secondary as me and they started joining my friends and I for dinner after our games and now sometimes we meet up off the court just to chill. There's also another group of younger cats who all went to the same highschool as me and sometimes invite me to play Poker with them.

Then there's also a 70+ year old guy who's taken it upon himself to give me tips and my game has improved a lot because of him! He's crazy good, but is taking it easy because he busted up his knee falling out of a tree!

I'm far from good, but playing badminton and meeting people there is something I look forward to and it's always nice to run into a regular outside of the court.
