I've been meaning to watch this film once it got to one of the online streaming services. There is one scene in the first trailer that fascinates me. After the boy plunges off the cliff he wakes up to what looks like a broken ankle or at least dislocated really bad. The boy pins his ankle between some rocks and violent twists his leg to pop the bone back into place. This suggests his tribe had some rudimentary knowledge of human anatomy and medicine. Or at least they had some knowledge of fixing bone injuries. I've always wondered when did ancient man begin to understand how to repair injuries like broken bones?

Saw the movie (you can download it). Trailer is nice. Movie not so. Just okay. Nothing special. A kid becoming man and befriending a wolf.
