Why are women so into horoscopes?
Everyone's noticed this right? Like on social media I always see them share "memes" and things related to it.

RE: Why are women so into horoscopes?
Is this a John Bozz post? Guys I'm not a forum vet so help me here.

Girls have this subconscious need to relinquish control of their lives to someone or something else. The idea that the stars are capable of doing this is not only appealing in that respect but also rather romantic aswell due to their mystery - this is due to rarely having a basic understanding of the cosmos, especially if/as they weren't paying attention in science class at school.

Not only that but very notion that they have a positive destiny coming their way that will "just happen" rather than having to work for it matches their sense of entitlement.

Also, due to herd mentality if something is popular females tend latch onto it, because they want to gush about it with their peer group at the same time rather than remain isolated.

Because people who don't hold themselves accountable for their own self-inflicted suffering are deluded into believing that mysterious forces of the universe, rather than their own choices and actions, ultimately dictate their fate.

And it gives regular people something to talk about.

Because it gives basic individuality-lacking working bees an illusion of having a personality and individuality (one that is shared by 1/12th of world population lol).

Everybody needs an identity to perceive themselves as a worthy person, we try to achieve it trough self-improvement but some people try to achieve it by assigning a sign to themselves. Tattos are popular because of the same reason.

It's not a dumb question at all.

Horoscopes are a way of ascribing value to oneself, outside of oneself. You can see why women (or anyone) would be attracted to that kind of thing yeah?

RE: Why are women so into horoscopes?
I think you mean astrology/zodiac signs which informs the "horoscope".

Horoscopes are daily/weekly/monthly guides which applies to the sign.

Women are more into astrology wholesale (generally) rather than horoscopes.

There are interesting insights to glean from astrology, if one invests the time to go deep. It's certainly not a one size fits all approach, however naysayers straw-man and dismiss it for claiming to be so. Like most things in life, where there's money to be made there will always be charlatans who promote it as being more than what it is. It's been around since 2000bc, so the message has been diluted/misinterpreted over time no doubt.

RE: Why are women so into horoscopes?
Cutting to the chase: Women are instinctively-drawn to emotionally-attractive fantasy over the dullness of harsh reality.

It's a Core Component of what makes Female Female.

The Princess.
Barbie.
The Horse Obsession.
Fantasy relationships with Boy Band members.
Being a celebrity.
Spirit Guides.
Horoscopes.
Witchcraft.
Gaia.
Vampire boyfriend.
"Mr. Right."
Sensibility.
"Soul mates."
Fairness / equality.
Plastic surgery.
Honeymoon in Paris.
Feminism.
Better Homes and Gardens.
Rainbow children.
Rewriting the narrative so they're always the victim.
Binge-watching.
Social Media Profile Curation.
The underexposed, backlit, face-and-tits dating app picture.
The Sea Change In Tuscany.
'Choice', not personal inconvenience justifies murder.
The man she believes she deserves over the one that she has.
Socialism.
"They should just print more money."
Basing their life expectations based upon fictional entertainment.
"You deserve it".

Men traditionally-understood this, and I suspect the cross-cultural systems of controlling women were a reaction to the obvious danger they present to themselves and others for consistently-choosing denial of reality over the less-glamourous acceptance of it, which usually involves notions of effort, duty, faithfulness and - particularly - the humility to understand that they're Completely-Ordinary, not Special.

Accept their nature for what it is, and base your expectations of them upon it.

Excellent answers above.

Also, from a practical standpoint, its a way to steer any conversation to talking about their favorite subject - themselves. From a game perspective, that is ideal for several reasons. First, she'll enjoy the conversation. Second, she'll divulge information about herself. Third, because in her mind the quality of the conversation is high, she'll more deeply bond with you.

Yep, the female desire to avoid all responsibility for their lives extends to the very cosmos. We mere mortals have no chance of convincing them otherwise.

RE: Why are women so into horoscopes?
I've planned a thread along this theme for a while. From initially being a legitimate skeptic of horoscopes in particular (almost purely ego-pandering) to having studied (on my own and with several experts in their esoteric fields) astrology and related esoteric disciplines I can say there is a spectrum of truth and utility these disciplines exist within. TL; dr - horoscopes may be mostly bullshit, but don't throw everything esoteric out because of one misapplication of a useful discipline.

Horoscopes are like Hershey's kisses - generic pre-packaged sweets for mass consumption that will make you sick if all you eat. But I've seen, experienced, and know there are amazing insights about ourselves, cycles in time / history, and our own life journey which can be tied to certain stellar movements and our individual lives, as well as generational effects to tie groups together.

Quite interestingly, I've found women with certain astrological qualities better harmonize with me compared to others. This took me years or accidental observation and now I've applied a system called human design that helps me see these connections in a way that's more about qualities of emotion, intuition, ego, mind, curiosity, drive, etc.

Since women are largely relationship driven and tools that assist them in understanding relationships are helpful, they'd be drawn to any system, however strange seeming, to acquire more insight in this area.

So my brothers please don't the HB8 out with the bath water simply because of a few bubbles. There's is a depth of potential wisdom (and game potential, as I've certainly found) to parts of the esoteric world. It's not confirmation bias, either, not as I've come to understand and apply the tools I use. It actually gives me a near psychic ability to predict chemistry (and what kind of chemistry), avoid women who are likely crazy, and screen for those rare girls who really do touch my soul in a very real way (and vice versa). The most lasting relationships I've had did share certain astrological commonalities - not horoscopes, but actual astrology and more comprehensive systems like human design.

I feel motivated to create one of those threads sooner than later (was going to include a human design 'reading' for our God Emperor, The Don!).

I'd agree with this - I do ask women their sign out of a gentle curiosity to notice any patterns over time between different women, their signs and personality trait correlations and I've found there probably are certain consistencies. However, it doesn't go much beyond a passing enquiry for my own sense of Angel

I've personally done the Myers-Briggs typology test with the 16 personality subtypes and I know certain businesses have used this test in pre-screening applicants too. Whilst the questionnaire itself is clearly geared towards a one-size-fits-all - once I got the results and read about my type I found it much more descriptive in terms of detail than anything I ever found from star signs. And whenever I've mentioned it to females.. well we all know the standard responses.

But the problem with such tests is that they're intrinsically reductionist. Personality is dynamic and will change subject to a myriad of choices a person will make over time. How can you ever box it into a corner? And really to box anything into a corner and say "This is my type! Idea" well.. now you don't have to seek anything more - you've "found it." And I guess that's why women love this shit. Evades them of the responsibility to seek, to work, to introspect which I think they fundamentally can't do. So ya know if Myers-Briggs (or any other woo-woo) can do it for them well... Thumb up

RE: Why are women so into horoscopes?
I once read that therapists and psychics exist in balance with one another; where therapy thrives you'll find few psychics, and vice versa. At the end of the day, 90% of it is just women wanting somebody to listen to them talk and make them feel important.

Hell, that's about 90% of relationship game right there.

I will agree with Truth Tiger, however, that there does seem to be something to Astrology. I'm very familiar with all of the Skeptik Disproofs, and certainly the daily horoscope is garbage, but there are some patterns in astrology that are too consistent for me to readily dismiss.

RE: Why are women so into horoscopes?
Zodiac signs make no sense scientifically and I'm a very objective, scientific person. But they do seem to work and girls definitely eat it up. I often ask girls their signs and have noticed patterns and characteristics. It's to the point I can guess a girl's sign much more often than chance would predict. It definitely opens a girl up to any further game you want to spit when you cold read her sign!

Chick Crack

It holds up a mirror through which women can see themselves in a way they can understand (women tend to easily understand things when referenced through emotion and imagination).

Heartiste Wrote:Chick crack is slang for communication techniques or conversational topics which provoke emotional responses. Women breathe, crap and piss emotions, and they love men who can incite latent passions and take them on journeys to lands far from logic or restraint. For this reason, chick crack is a critical part of game

Even feminists wrote article about it: "Why Is It So Difficult to Resist "Chick Crack" From Guys?"

Women search for guidance outside of themselves instead of men, if there is a problem it's because of my parents, boyfriend, the stars, the janitor... Anything that can be blamed other than them.
Like all herds animals, women have no internal compass other than their gina tingles so they need to ping off their environment to show them the way(the stars, the TV, men(players) sometimes...)

Tell them too much, they wouldn't understand; tell them what they know, they would yawn.
They have to move up by responding to challenges, not too easy not too hard, until they paused at what they always think is the end of the road for all time instead of a momentary break in an endless upward spiral

I find girls that are into horoscopes/zodiac/psychics/etc and are doing yoga/meditation/etc. are the best ones to game. Just do the normal agree and amplify and getting in their pants has been generally more easy, for me at least.

Remember, you are not looking for a wife/gf and don't have to agree with anything about them. Just fake it being on the same wavelength with them and you're half way there.

But seriously, they believe in "fate" and that their life already has a set story and they don't have much control over how to change that. I think that it's their life and girls just react to what happenes to them, not the other way around.
They don't usually believe that they can change their destiny by taking action and making decisions.

Yup and I pretty much use this to my advantage at times. For example if a girl ask me for my zodiac sign, I make her tell me first and then I go to one of several online sites that tells me which signs are the most compatible. Then I make up a birthdate that fits and tell them the compatible sign. It's amazing to see the relief in their responses from that point on, almost diffusing and relaxing them in some way. It contributes in bringing down their guard and you're that much closer in closing them.

Astrology is much, much, much more complex than simply the Sun sign. You need to AT LEAST include your moon sign and the ascendant to get a possible portrait. Run http://www.moderncosmic.com/draw-your-birth-chart/ with an exact time of birth and tell me what sticks.
