Even if Trayvon Martin were a saint (and to be clear, I make no judgement regarding that), giving him a "posthumous degree" is idiotic at best and insulting at worst. The guy was not enrolled at their university or at any other university-level course about airplanes and hasn't made any significant contributions in that or any related field. It's like a random college giving me a honorary degree in Literature despite me never doing anything in that field other than expressing mild interest in writing years ago.

Bachelor's degrees are useless - they are in fact incomplete education (hence undergraduate) and exist solely for the purpose of stopping ambitious but stupid or lazy people who want the label of having the university education but don't want to go till the end.

A masters degree means a complete education. A bachelors degree is just an empty platitude and is always a "honorary" degree - a trap to give a rushed sense of achivement for people who are often better off not studying at all.

If I ever meet a person who is proud of their univeristy education but has only bachelor's it's clear indicator that he/she is a vain person who thinks he is smart but actually has just spent his student years partying and cheating to get his degree and has no real intrest in any subject to learn further.

People with bachelor's degrees are often dumber then peole with no degrees at all. It's either Masters or nothing. The covert red pill truth is that all bachelor's degrees are "honourary". So it's not a big deal if this thug got one post mortem. There is a plenty of stupid people who get this degree all the time anyway.

The details of the case aside, TRAYVON MARTIN IS DEAD, and the case is over, never to be reopened, with Zimmerman's life pretty much ruined forever. Let the kid rest in peace.

What does this posthumous degree do other than say "huh, we haven't talked about Trayvon Martin's death in a while...let's bring it up again!"

This is me all over. Just before I signed up here I commenced an undergraduate degree which I have recently completed.

I did spend that time partying and cheating (on women).

Because of my presence on this forum and the knowledge acquired, I applied to my university for recognitional of prior learning, requesting an honorary Master of Gender Studies.

To my delight, it was approved. I do feel much more warranted in expressing pride in my education now.

On a serious note, I heard a podcast of George Zimmerman speaking at a self defense class, and it really blew me away. He had his lawyer also give his testimony. They give a very convincing case that Zimmerman did absolutely nothing wrong. He is a victim of character assassination by the media. He was not a wannabe cop looking for trouble. This was all made up. He did everything by the book. The government tried to falsify data to convict him, and experts literally flew to defend him on their own money because they were concerned that their science would be damaged by the case if they allowed the falsehood to stand. If Zimmerman had done just one thing wrong, he would have been convicted guys. Unfortunately, I can't find the podcast on the Internet but there are some other interviews. You should listen to Zimmerman speak directly. What happened to an innocent man is a tragedy.
