Oh, I've got a bonus one for you from the school of 'places have souls'.

Where I lived just before moving here, well, it was even more rural. It was a big house. The house on the hill. The haunted house. It was a caricature of the house on the hill.

I lived there with an old lady that could make doors slam and windows shut.

Bats flew in through the windows.

Strangers turned up with crippled daughters but no word would be spoke of the horrors that went on there. Not to the other daughters.

I just wrote a long post on this and it got magically deleted. I guess I shouldn't be talking about it. I'll just leave it there.

I also had some other stuff to add, but it's probably best to let it go.

My computer is still fucked and I'm still too fucked to fix it. Shit, it was a good story.

Here's another story...

About 10 years ago I was coming back from a road trip with my friends. At one point we decided to make a quick stop so we hit up a mall to rest from being on the road. I was walking around and at that time I was in the market for a digital camera so I made the purchase.

As we're driving back one of my friends mentions the fact that we're passing a haunted spot. Back in the day they did some ghost hunting, but this was before we became friends, I was never into that stuff. They made the comment 'Neo, you can use your new camera at the haunted spot. See what you see.'

So I agreed.

We get off an exit and stop outside a supposedly haunted cemetery. As I get out of the car I felt pretty normal and I was ready to put my camera to use. I step outside and just start snapping pictures of the surroundings. I begin to look at the pictures in the screen and what do I see?

Ghost Orbs. Tons of them all over the place. I saw nothing with my naked eye while snapping the pictures. I did some research after and it was claimed they could be dust, rain, or all sort of things. It wasn't dusty or raining that night.

I've never taken similar photos again in my entire life. I find the entire experience strange.

There is a strong pattern to my foresight of events. I will have a seemingly innocuous dream or daydream, then anywhere between a week and a couple of months later the exact thing will happen to me.

I almost got goosebumps reading this because I've had this very same thing happen to me. It's a very strange experience to try and put into words but you've done a great job at trying to explain it. The only thing I'll add is that whenever I've experienced such an inexplicable moment of familiarity, it feels like I've experienced that moment before but only mentally and not physically until it's actually happening at that present moment (which is what triggers the deja vu-like feeling). I'm not sure if that makes any sense or not, but it's the only way I can think to describe it.

Yes, exactly that. I've never had any experiences with ghosts or spirits (yet) but I have a relative who maintains that they once saw and spoke to one. They are a very trustworthy person in a white collar profession.

I've had a lot of deja vu at work where one meeting I remembered my supervisor saying this in a dream a few days before. It happens when I'm doing tasks and checking my work so I don't get in trouble.

I also remember floating on my bed when I was a kid in kindergarten and being taken out of the house. Can't remember the details, but I got thrown back into bed.

Same, I just saw this thread under new posts was intrigued and fuck me reading that from britchard was a #metoo moment . Mine is conversations sometimes other times it is something innocuous happening and me realising that mentally I've seen and felt that happen before. For example a kid kicking his ball across my path as i walk through the park, I've dreamt it 6 months or even a year earlier. It's crazy, I wonder how common it is.

I was in primary (kindergarden) school on Ash Wednesday 1998, looking at a days of the week calendar, a thought pops into my head, I was 7 and never thought of death, but I had a sudden feeling "That went someday my granny is going to die, my granny has died" at about 3pm.

I go home an hour later, I find out my grandmother is dead......at 3pm.

This was the grandparent who I had the most connection too (maybe that's the reason) and to this day it freaks me how how something just came bolting out of the ether at my mind. It was sudden calm knowing.

It all started one Sunday 2 summers ago. I wasn't feeling well and as I was laying down on my couch, I felt something vibrating against my leg. A small portion of my couch was pulsating. I freaked out and called my Mom. I didn't tell her about the couch but i said i wasn't feeling well. My mother told my sister about it (who lives an hour away) and she came over to see how i was. We decided for me to spend the night at her place. My memory is fuzzy after that. I remember a portion of the ride over to my sister's place. I remember seeing several doctors the next few days. Eventually my full memory returned and I was sitting on a Hospital bed. My mom told me they decided to admit me because my blood pressure got a little high. But I had no memory of entering the hospital. My blood pressure came back down I was later released.

When I was around 12-14, I had quite a few various experiences that seemed like interactions with ghosts. If you read up on accounts of hauntings, it's not uncommon for them to surround a person in the household who is going through puberty. These things would happen in different locations, but most centered around the house we were living in at the time.

It was mostly very small shit that I couldn't really pin down for sure. For example, I'd be playing an electronic keyboard, and just after I stopped, one single key would play by itself. Or would see something out of the corner of my eye - one time a mom's friend saw something pass behind me and screamed out. I'd be home alone and walk into the kitchen to find a burner glowing that I hadn't turned on. TV volume would get turned all the way up or down while I was in the other room.

But the one that sticks out in my mind the most is harder to brush off as a trick of the imagination. I got home alone from school one day and instantly threw my bag on the couch and went back in the kitchen to cook some ramen up (healthy, I know). While I'm waiting for the water to boil, I suddenly hear some rustling around in the back bedroom shared by me and my two brothers, seemingly coming from my older brother's closet.

I call out my brother's name. Nothing. So I decide to walk back there and see what's up - mind you I'm already a bit nervous alone in this house because of all the little "incidents," so I've got that feeling you get when you're watching a scary movie and someone is walking into a room they know they shouldn't walk into.

You have to pass through the only bathroom in the house to get into our bedroom. And that's when it happens - as I walked by the bathroom sink, the faucet suddenly turns on...

I turned it off. Turned off the burner in the kitchen.

And went up and sat in a tree in the driveway for hours, waiting for someone else to get home.

My mom has always fancied herself a little bit psychic, and there seem to be all sorts of things backing it up. She also had experiences with ghosts when she was younger. Once when she and my father were house-sitting in Cape Cod, as she tells it, an "unseen" force drug her off the bed and out of my dad's arms, leaving him essentially playing tug of war in the dark. They left the room and never stayed in that house again.

But the premonitions is where she has really blown me away a lot of times. She's always sharing dreams with myself or her sister, some of which seem to hint at something that happens later on. The most striking psychic experience happened when she was working a job as a bartender one night. As a single mother raising three boys on her own, you can bet bartending was a taxing job, and the first thing she'd want to do after her late night shift was over was get home and collapse into bed so she could catch a few hours of sleep before getting us up for school in the morning.

Anyhow, when she got to the road that led to our house, "something," an instinct of sorts, told her not to turn down it and to just keep going. For some reason she followed this instinct. Mind you it's late late night and we live out in the country - it's nothing but dark redwood forests, and no real feeling of safety for a woman alone at night. She kept driving and telling herself she should just turn around and go back, but every time, the urge to go on hit her again, and she'd obey.

Finally, about 3 or 4 miles down the road, she told herself how ridiculous it all was and made a mental note that she was turning around after the next corner and quitting this aimless nonsense. But...as she rounded the corner, there was an SUV upside down in the road. It was a friend of hers who'd been drinking at the bar that night - her boyfriend was behind her when she wrecked, but he couldn't leave her there alone to go get help. She was lying there in the road with a huge gash on her forehead, bleeding all over the place. My mom stayed with her while the boyfriend ran to the payphone in town to call 911 (this was before cell phones, for you youngsters out there).

I don't know if her friend was injured so bad she wouldn't have made it without my mom showing up, but regardless, a striking experience.

I have my own share of dreams that seem somewhat psychic in nature. One that stands out to me is a dream I had where I had moved into this new place and was being haunted/followed by a ghost that would stand outside my house. There was a sense of there being a real threat to my life. Anyhow, I won't drag on about the details of the dream, but I remember one moment I was hiding in my place and scared shitless, holding my .45 in my hand. At one point, I raised the blinds to see if I could see anything outside, and I was shocked to find this girl standing just outside my window, feet from me, staring at me.

It was obviously a girl, but it had this huge bloated face with no eyes or mouth. I remember it being so real, and I jumped back, and I lifted the .45 and pointed it at her face, and I was just about to pull the trigger...and suddenly the face turned into that of my sister's....

When I woke up from this dream, I remember being so shook up that I called my sister to check on her. I had this unsettling feeling that the dream was a premonition of something that was happening to her or was going to happen to her. But I didn't want to spook her, so I didn't mention it when we talked.

A few days later, perhaps a week, my sister and brother were involved in a really bad car accident. My sister got the worse of it, her back broken in multiple places, along with a lot of internal injuries. When I showed up to see her at the hospital, I remember looking down at her and not being able to recognize her, as her face and head were so swollen and bloated she looked like some completely different person. It struck me immediately, that her face closely resembled the ghost in my dream (though obviously she still had eyes, a nose, and a mouth).

Fortunately, my sister came out of that alright, and other than bad back problems and surgeries she has to get to remove internal scar tissue from time to time, she lives a rather normal life.

I've also had a lot of experiences that very much resembled a sign or a communication from a Higher Power. Got work to do but maybe I'll come in at a later time and write about them too.

In short what I wanted to say.

What happened to BB is familiar and seen all around the world. Things really function like that. This world is weird and doesn't function like most people think. On the subatomic level, laws of physics almost don't apply. This is MSM science, what about occult? Things are even weirder there.
Anyway, people hear about some "ghost case" and it's word by word like the BB described. Even premonitions in dreams are told by people almost in same manner. So what is behind all this phenomena?

In short, collective subconsciousness. In long, here is a bit detailed explanation.

GHOSTS
Ghost phenomenon can be approached in two different ways:
- person doing/creating it unwillingly
- real entity

I am willing to bet that in BB case it involves first one, but I will not exclude the second one. Key element in post is puberty. This is time of great change in one's body. Hormones are firing non stop, mood swings, what not and all that combined can produce ghost phenomenon. If the necessary prerequisites are met, person's own subconsciousness will manifest. Let's say that group of three 15 year olds enter decrepit building which is marked in urban legends as ghost spot and being haunted. Let's say it's very damp outside, these kids might have drank alcohol, smoked cigarettes, had fight with their parents, they are still in puberty of course, etc. All this combined could produce for them group sighting. What is interesting that when questioned one by one, each might tell a different version of the story. They speak truth but truth is subjective in their case. Unfortunately, because of this a lot of stories are disregarded as hoaxes.

In the second case, there might be real entities that might in some particular case manifest as a weird shadow, or feeling, with the latter being more common. I don't want to get too much into this as this is subject to itself.

DREAMS
They again involve subconsciousness. Dreams are exercises of the brain, but as they are part of collective, ultimately, information can travel between several people. Premonitions could be regarded as messages from another person's "higher self". In this case it's almost like his sister knew what will happen and then sent the information to sleeping BB. She didn't consciously knew what will happen, but it's a whole different thing on subconscious level.

I’ve always been a non believer when it comes to supernatural phenomena but since I've started to experiment with psychedelics a few years ago, I'm much more open to the idea. While tripping, I've had a feeling that there is much more to reality then we can perceive. I know drugs are mostly responsible for this feeling but it has stayed with me ever since.

Although I've never had any significant experiences myself, my parents have. My father's story of him being visited by a night demon as a teenager comes to kind. He wakes up in the middle of the night hearing a deep whisper in his ear, that he can only describe as the voice of a demon. He tried to get up, move and yell but was frozen, unable to move anything but his eyes. This lasted for what felt like minutes and the voice and force holding him disappeared, leaving him soaked in sweat.

He told this to his grandma a few days later who immediately asked him what he did. She told him when people do bad things, they are sometimes visited by a night demon. Sure enough he had just been in a fight and beaten this other kid pretty bad.

Although this case of sleep paralysis might have been something else, he assured me that something unnatural happened that night. He and my mother also told me a story of being visited by my great grandmothers ghost while staying in her old cabin.

I'm not sure I believe any of this was supernatural, but my father would never lie to me and I trust his judgment more then anyone I know. I can't help but think there is much more to life and the universe.

Regarding what his grandma said, well that is just how people interpret these phenomena. It's always some kind of "chinese whispers" passed generation by generation.

Minor event that might display transfer of unknown information during dreams.

I was about 12 (notice my age) and was almost a frequent sleepwalker. This is what my mom told me one morning:

Night before I went out the room sleepwalking and sat myself in the living room on a couch. My mom was there as she was watching television. She heard me repeat several times: "Luna, there is no moon". She thought what a weird nonsensical thing to say, so she took me by arm and led me to bed.

Fast forward 2 months. I got from my grandpa big encyclopedia as I was an avid reader at that time and stumbled about article about sleepwalking. I wasn't particularly interested by my eyes caught one sentence. It said "Luna is the latin word for Moon and..." or something like that.
"Luna, there is no moon" kept echoing in my head and feeling of intense dread took over my body.

Years passed and I still believe I didn't hear meaning of word Luna before my sleepwalking episode on TV, in newspapers or whatever.

The problem with understanding supernatural experiences is that there is always a reasonably plausible explanation that can dismiss them out of hand.

People who undergo these sorts of things usually have a gut reaction that they are experiencing something out of the ordinary, something that is, in many cases "realer than real."

Neither science nor psychology will ever have a way of measuring this or explaining it, but they pretend to.

It all relates to the character of the person having the experience, and their truthfulness, and their ability to distinguish the unsettling from the supernatural.

Dismissing experiences like this with easy explanations (sleep paralysis + guilt), satisfying as it is, doesn't really add to the discussion.

Too easy.

Jesus wasn't a savior, he was just a guy who ate mushrooms.

Saints in past times didn't levitate, they just jumped real high in smoky dark rooms and people back then were stupid and couldn't figure it out.

There are no mystic visions, only epileptic seizures and brain tumors.

People are never mysteriously healed of terminal cancer, they just experience spontaneous remissions.

No one has ever had a Near Death Experience, they just had a dream and a squirt of dopamine.

Sometimes these explanations seem as faith based as any supernatural explanation.

Like holding up a cross to ward off a demon.

Get this, by just dealing with subconsciousness, you are dealing with the network that spans beyond dimensions. Yeah, I really said this and mean this. This subconsciousness is home to you, other people, your things, things from other people, real beings that are not part of you and others, etc.

What I wanted to say is that what person holds deep down in himself/herself can manifest in both physical reality and in place between dream and waking state. Sleep paralysis is state between being awake and asleep. In such a state subconsciousness has free reign to go out; anything you hold in yourself can be presented to you.

Food for thought. People could from the early puberty have special invented masturbation ideal in the form of hot woman/man. This woman/man with enough "feeding" can become enough autonomous in such way that it can show herself/himself to you! Real fucking tulpa, made by you looking for fapping material. Crazy, huh? That is true. However as people mature they give up on their fantasies and the entity devoids of attention and gradually thus fades.
Some say corporate logos are supersigils/servitors/tulpas, and they get so much attention from people day to day. Be that as it may, you can't ignore the fact that these logos are often also very occultic in symbolism.
It would be sneaky for some occultist to create a servitor and hide it in comics or films etc.
Grant Morrison has done this deliberately.

Mostly true what you said. Indeed, as kids grow up these entities from their childhood just fade away. In the case of example I said, when you find your porn niche then there is no need for sustaining imaginary fap material so it also fades away.

Regarding logos. They might be sigils, subliminal messaging and similar but they are not tulpas. I mean, tulpa is a thought form, almost a living entity, not a sign on the building.

I may have written about this previously on the forum, but I'm not sure.

When I was 19 I went to a house party in college. During this party me and a friend decided to smoke weed. It was strong and for a span of 30 minutes I had precognition and superhuman people reading abilities.

I sat on the couch and looked over at this brunette, she didn't look at me. I had the thought 'In an hour she's going to offer me a ride home.' An hour later without any previous interaction with her she came over and offered my friend and I a ride home.

Earlier a random guy I never met sat next to my friend and I, I had the thought 'He's from X town and he's going to mention he lived on a farm' After 5 minutes of conversation he said just that.

There were a few more events like this as I watched the crowd.

This has happened other times in my life and continues to but never as strong as this.
