I'd say 10K would be a good jumping off point, but its really just a validation tool from chicks to make sure your not "Fake" . Some girls in Asia have accused me of catfishing and asked me to follow their accounts. What matters are your pictures and what kind of lifestyle you can convey.

I would say that at 1k likes it starts making a difference. I got by first totally random IG bang at around 4k followers / 1k likes. My bot had followed some chick who DM'd me and we texted all day. She booked a flight down the next night to come in around two weeks. I ran comfort game slowly over 2 weeks and we had a great weekend fling the whole time she was here. When she flew back I let her know I'm not looking for anything serious which she wanted, but that she can come visit anytime. She wants to come down again in the winter when it starts snowing in Iowa since I live in a warm weather area.

Insta does game for you. Same with SnapC. Like, you just shoot a shot or vid of how you live. For me, its all about getting fucking DEEZEDDDDDDDDD! Show her how you live. I have. But its like 1/20ish (haven't counted, only 1 success from one I found off bumble, got a few leads in the works tho...so that could improve ratio), but that's just from the ones that followed back. Which is prob 10-20% chance. I don't even message them if they don't follow back. They'll get unfollowed eventually

A lot of guys do that. The average instagram girl with a public profile gets anything between 10 to 50 DMs from thirsty guys per day. I am sure a lot of them come from Tinder.

Yes. It's mostly a waste of time. I've actually kept detailed stats on it because I wanted to see how it compared to messaging girls on Tinder directly:

In San Francisco:
- 1 in 20 girls follow back. (This is actually extremely low and reflects the horrible casual sex market here. In other US cities figure 1 in 10 will follow back if you have a great profile, 1 in 5 if you're in a low tier city where you seem like a god if you have followers int he thousands)
- Of those girls, 1 in 3 are hot enough to actually send an opener
- Of those girls, half respond to the opener
- Of those girls, half stop responding after a few messages
- What remains are 1-2 girls who will give you their number and agree to a date.
- Of those girls, both will flake.

So of 1500 girls followed, if you do the math, you're left with your dick in your hand.

I really did not focus on using my IG in 2017, and after reading the mixed results here, not sure if I will next year. A younger buddy of mine (He's 25) absolutely kills it on IG and Snap, averaging 1 bang/mo from each of hot girls. He also portrays a lifestyle that attracts a certain type of woman, with everything from "workout videos" which show women he takes care of himself, to pics of his audi after he washes it. Thanks all. Goes to show that daygame is still king.

Even Vinny talks about using Instagram second only to daygame, as a means for closing and giving girls that social proof.

But he maintains it religiously, and I don't. Especially when you have to do a lot, to see results coming from IG.


As for sending DM to girls, I wouldn't wait for them to follow you back - I'd DM her if her profile's is public. If private, then yes obviously.

I haven't done this on a mass scale, but if it's as bad as @corsega suggests, it's something like 1 in 6 respond to your first message, and none will go on a date?

Sounds like I should do more work improving my Tinder profile, which I thought was fine, because I had professional photos taken, but I haven't been seeing results.

Roosh, would it be cool if we closed this thread and I started a new thread with a more balanced approach to Instagram? It's not "compulsory" for online dating like this thread suggests, that's laughable.

But more just about general strategies about how to build your Instagram profile as a supplement to daygame, nightgame, and online game.

It may have just been a misunderstanding on Vinny's part. I hope he is not pema-banned as he has made many posts that have given value to the forum, and has demonstrated a lot of maturity and respect from what I've seen. I would hope that 2 level headed guys like roosh and vinny can work things out. It would be a great demonstration of what the forum stands for.

I also think as PuaRonin, I respect Roosh’s rules, but It is sad that Vinny has been banned. He made a lot of contributions(especially daygame topic) and helped members in and out the forum.

After having contributed to multiple threads, guides, and shared thoughts among members in the forum, there must be a disconnect somewhere along the lines. With some quality threads like,

There's only information shared with the rest of the members. So how can a respected member out of these three guides, compiled up to 10000 words, with all-meat and no fluff, be banned?
