It's better to put it this way. Not having an IG won't negatively affect you in reference to getting with hot girls. It will however open up ways to get with more hot girls. Pearls before swine and all that jazz. Game affects performance/quality. Avenues that open you up socially to more options affect quantity. IG has the highest ROI on getting with more hot girls compared to even playing the social circle, but you have to be playing the social circle, traveling, and doing something with your life physically in the real world to make it work.

No point in getting one until you're living the lifestyle you want to live. If you're grinding right now to get your money it's not going to help. Once you're freely spending, traveling, and having a good time with your people it'll be like liquid gold.

It's no wonder it works for guys like Vinny.

But again if you're not doing shit but working your ass off. Better to log off social media entirely. Do not post on Facebook. Do no post on Instagram. Do not do shit.

Being a part of the younger generation it's kind of hard not post something inane to my Instagram story even though I'm spending everyday working my ass off as it is addicting to get a bit of attention. But you have to wean yourself off.

Yes for the smartphone addicted local 7+ if you dont have a decent IG account you will be pegged down a few notches. Important caveat that my 7+ are local model level quality (the bullshit kind where she gets paid chump change) who some forum members probably peg as an 8. These girls are in the top 1-5% of the population and have hundreds of guys chasing them.

A good IG profile raises your SMV significantly, especially if trying to bang from online, and puts you at the top of her list of guys she possibly might want to hang out with, especially if she follows you and you keep posting good pics.

For 5's and 6's, you definitely don't need an IG to get the initial hang out. Top tier talent it helps tremendously. After meeting up of course its up to your personal level of game to close the deal, but getting the meetup is whats crucial.

Just yesterday I Met a girl and IG closed her. On her way home she texted me: "Not gonna lie, I'm totally stalking your IG right now" and she said she was very impressed.

I think that pretty much sums it up every time. It's just extra value to build that comfort. And it displays my high value without me having to actually brag about myself in person. The IG does all the bragging for me.

Once I was well over 100 reps and I had a service to promote, I read rules for self promotion Then I reread them and then I sent message to Roosh.

Every self promotional thread I have started was only started after a written permission from Roosh.

All was fine up until a week ago, when I suddenly got 60% warning (my first ever) and a 7 days ban on posting.

I got an explanation as well, it was self promotion and the fact that IG game contradicts Roosh's values. Which is fine since this forum belongs to him and he is one to make the rules, to which I will abide.

Of course I feel it is unfair since I got permission and since in my opinion I always gave back to community in terms of actionable advice, numerous freebies and new revolutionary game ways which work!

Yea I am offended and discouraged to provide value to this forum in the future. Since I always felt I did what is right even asking permission for every major step. If the rules can change at any time on a whim it will result in chaos.

It can go both ways. If you have a strong, high value, exciting profile it will help. You can also have a shitty profile and have it work against you. It's like a social resume. People will judge you on it regardless of whether you like it or not.

Anyone experimented with putting up a photo of a girl on their account, as in just the girl posing on her own? Social proof / pre selection / competition.

Im thinking of doing this, I dont actually know the girl but Ill pretend I do, it works well with my feed, I have a fashion account and I post a lot of clothes in Gucci, all she is wearing in the pic is Gucci, its a normal picture from a random whos not insta famous or anything.

^Its a very, very delicate balance. Only recently have I realized the “advantage” to Instagram from a “social proofing” standpoint, but I also realize that the entirety of my young adult life (14-25) has been negatively impacted by social media, ESPECIALLY during college.

Still not sure if the revenues (which are achievable only through ACTIVE curation & effort) outweigh the costs (mental health/ self confidence - the impact is real, and it’s hard to just moderate it). I really like Vinny’s suggestion of not going through other people’s profiles - you are there to push content, not consume it).

You can be great with game and bang shitloads of girls yet not be on IG.

You can be popular on IG yet not have the success of a guy who has game.

It's just a passive tool for you to put up there to add legitimacy.

That's pretty much it. Another avenue.

Some guys solely day game, others hit up only clubs. Some guys prefer online and others aim to find girls at supermarkets for SNL.

Thing is, if you got game, you are doing all of this because you realize every opportunity costs time.

Passive game such as IG just helps tailor that image that you want girls to buy into. It will put you on the radar of certain girls, not all.

It's not mutually exclusive (whether you need it or not), if you are an outgoing person with a certain level of narcissism then you will enjoy IG.

If you don't enjoy it or are on the fence, then don't bother.

It takes minimal time - I post every 2-3 days and it takes me 5 minutes to throw a post on, add a witty comment and put it through a filter.

It's another part of your portfolio of showing that you have a cool life.

Game is changing and mystery is becoming less of a thing, unfortunately. This is one of the catalysts but you can harness it with the cool shit that you are doing.

You can pipeline girls once you have a big following (status) or a semblance of importance.

Until then, it's just for your social circles to share moments, jerk each other's value off and basically forward memes to your mates.

Nothing wrong with that either.

I was late to IG but it has its merits and I enjoy it.

What Vinny does might not work for you. If it doesn't, so what, you know now that you should try something else.

Hating on IG is a weak, scarce, hater thing to do.

If you're addicted to your smartphone then it's a shit idea but then again you probably are already on it. You probably are addicted to this forum too. You probably are addicted to many things.

People like to be victims and blame shit but come on, Instagram is just an app.

If you let an app have power over you and dictate your attention span and game (watering holes) then you need help.

None of these things will get you laid.

Being confident, attractive and putting in the effort will.

This is just another tool.

Try it. It works? Brilliant, add it to your game repertoire. It doesn't or you don't dig? Move on.

Precisely, the purpose of my post is to demonstrate you can do both and you can do neither, it's up to the person to choose what they want.

IG requires effort but I am currently getting likes and attention from girls from the 5 mins I spent on that post.

To me, that is passive because I am posting now and it's 'working' for me on another girls screen.

By that definition, nothing is passive because we are breathing and putting effort into it.

It's just branding. You clearly communicate what your lifestyle is like, what your values are, who you spend time with, etc. If a girl vibes with it, then she'll be more down. I usually look through a girl's IG before I message or go on a date. Helps me more efficiently determine whether we are a "fit" or not. You don't need it, but if an attractive girl has the option between someone who's clearly "cool" and a random dude, she'll go with the cool dude.
