Just around midnight I run that one to all the girls I still am interested in and then take note of which ones responded. One catch is that about half tend not to go through because the SMS networks are getting hammered, so do it 20 minutes before or after.

Other holidays work too.

May be the sexual connotations work for some, but I think you are just making things hard than they need to be.

So I've just come to the realization that restart texts are just recycled cheesy pick-up lines from the 80's.

Try some of these:

For some reason they work very well over text message but are awful in person.

Send a girl you haven't talked to something like

"Last night was crazy, did John get home okay?"

She's gonna go "what?"

Then just tell her it was the wrong text, someone with a similar name, then just fade into "so how you been?"
