if you can change the direction of emotional spikes by changing topics to go from something positive to negative and vice versa, and do so suddenly and rapidly, even better! this is what makes you exciting to her. its an emotional thrill, not a physical thrill like riding a motorcycle.

but if you are spouting off about string theory or the trilateral commission, the woman can't really participate, especially not on an emotional level.

Hypno nailed it. Women like to see signs of intelligence, but interacting on a plane of higher intelligence is inherently unemotional, even for high IQ women. I love to talk about all sorts of things and can see that I've botched a few lizards by getting too deeply into a specific topic because it was something that interested me but had no emotional resonance for her.

I'm new to the forum and many of the concepts discussed here, so my game has developed slowly through my personal trial and error. I can see that my game is particularly weak in areas like push-pull, being challenging, controlling the frame, dealing with shit tests - but the reason it has still been successful for me is that I would always go deep, make them feel comfortable enough to let the emotions flow, probe into really charged topics like their childhood and inner fears, let them talk about how they feel about everything, and run "don't fuck it up" game. I would also tell stories from my life in ways that would DHV while taking them through emotional ups and downs.

Putting these strengths and weaknesses in my game together, it makes sense why I convert poorly from approach or online, but once I can actually get a lizard out on a date, my conversion rates are close to 100%, although I have to see them 2-3 times. This game also seems to do comparatively well at keeping them around for a long time, so combined with the higher level of effort needed to turn them out, has made me go for the harem approach. But the inherent slowness of my game and difficulty at building the initial spark has been frustrating, and this makes me excited to learn from all of you and take my game to the next level.

Here's the trick: Combine a deep concept (universe, evolution, zodiac/stars, etc) and LINK it to how it might involve HER

If you feel you want to be honest at that time (don't be) just touch on the EDGE of the characteristic. Something like "you can be hard to deal with at times" ( = you're a bitch)

I think the truly smart guys find some way/place where they have some massive advantage that makes pulling much less work with a decent return.

Sometimes it's as easy as relocating and learning a language. Others stay put and specialize by developing more niche game.

The OP is mostly about being inside your own head intellectually. Previous responses pretty much nailed it. You can indirectly demonstrate intelligence as a DHV, anymore and it's counterproductive to your game. Even a PhD girl will respond better to emotional stimulus or at the very least letting her talk about herself.

Some girls will be massively turned if you're intelligent enough to understand them/their work by active listening. But doing this is counterproductive because they steal the frame away and usually direct it into the friend zone. Those same girls will still respond strongly to emotional game led by a strong man who refuses to relinquish the frame because it's hard wired into their brains.

You can be smart. You can let her know you're smart. You can mention intellectual things. You can even deep dive on philosophy. Just be emotional about it. Don't try to be an expert. Don't stick to one thing/subject because that's your field.

Talking about things you have no experience or knowledge of can be just as effective. And it takes the burden off you. "I went to Oxford and studied Ancient Greek... I always wondered what it would have been like to postpone college and work at a hostel in Columbia". Boom you let her know you're a genius but your convo is off and running in the opposite direction towards something completely unknown and fun that you never actually did.

If you really did go to Oxford or have some other impressive job/experience this is often the only way you can bring it up. Otherwise it sounds like you're bragging. The average girl will feel inferior, jealous, be scared to talk about herself in comparison. It gets both of you talking about wild things you never did (nor never will do). Guess who she then attaches all those crazy emotions to? You!

Another way to look at it:

Smart people tend to have a lot of fantastic knowledge and experience to draw on. They are used to espousing on it. But to most women it comes off as boring or unrelatable.

With a little effort she could engage you. But she's spoiled and lazy. You have to lead her into an easy and fun convo/dynamic.

It's here most guys end up being their own own worst enemy. They never even hook. Let alone get her helping things move along. They refuse to accept the reality that their intellectual capital is working against them (so guilty myself).

There's a number of other reasons why it's bad. Probably the worst being it lumps you in with all the other Beta men. She's been approached before in that manner.

I've approached women at parties and gotten crazy or nasty with them. Opener "When was the last time you had sex." Like it or not it gets an emotional reaction you can ping off.

Later in the conversation those girls tell me how pretty much every guy they talked to was engaging them in the same getting to know you dialogue (work, education, family). "It was sooo boring... I thought he'd never stop talking to me..." Meanwhile what questions do you think they are asking me? Yep what's my job, etc.

The next day of someone asks about the party whose conversation is going to stick in their mind? Whose will have the most emotions attached to it? Use your intelligence to get the most emotional significance/reaction out of her you can. Be the most emotionally significant guy she's talked to this month. That requires intelligence. But not the kind your used to showing women.

That is how I measure intelligence.. Is the man able to get what he wants or not? (and do it in way that is not harmful to others)

Getting what you want may require logical intelligence, but, it may also require artistic or intuitive intelligence, getting what you want may require social or emotional intelligence... IQ alone may not be enough. Sometimes its just sheer hard work, desire, and perseverance. Effort and action are required.

Getting sex when you want it is more ART than science.

It's a vibe, a sense, a feeling, an instinct.

In my experience as long as you can talk with passion, and LOTS of it not just with the intent of "impressing" for the sake of it (that smells like insecurity a mile away), you're pretty much good most of the time..

Conversely I always try to leverage this aspect, a LOT. I find EXTREMELY "beta" (that's where I disagree with several comments I read in this thread) letting the shortcomings of a random girl dictate the direction of an interaction. I don't have any desire to turn dating into "work" where I have to hide who I am, quite the opposite. And I guess it's where it helps men with high IQ.

Just learn to express whatever YOU want in a SMART way. Nothing spells dominance, interest and attraction for a woman more than a slight sense of inferiority, when played right.

If you know how to show intellectual dominance with your high IQ, then it will work wonder. Women respond to dominance (different women prefer different kinds of dominance) so if you're good at something, show how you dominate in that field.

Mine is pretty high and I work in a highly technical field with many very smart people. While women do not want to hear about the intricate details of what I do (the stuff that men love to nerd out on), they enjoy the stories that subtly show how I dominate and lead other men in my field.

It's all about dominance, because women love Alphas.

Testosterone increases dominance so I don't get the above post. High IQ is useless unless you use it to acquire wealth or dominate others, and many high IQ people don't have the inclination or natural disposition to do so. As a high IQ guy I usually have to dumb myself down. I've trained myself over the years to live in the realm of emotion when it comes to game instead of my typical analytical demeanor. Being analytical is a gamekiller. There's no such thing as a female sapiosexual. That shit is the biggest fucking lie and platitude that women say. I repeat.

Assess her character and ask challenging questions. The best way to assess somebody is to ask them challenging questions and analyze their response. Some might say not a good strategy but if you are with a girl by the 2nd or 4th time you see her you should really have assessed her character.

If you are going to consider dating somebody or whatever you mean by 'game' you should probably understand the driving forces behind her life, her character, and know her IQ. This also plays on the law of rejection because if you are of high IQ you're going to have lots of opportunities with women all of the time because you're so smart and you don't want a girl who can't answer a challenging question, that is a human without the capacity for reason.

I would like any kids to be more intelligent than myself. This might not matter to some people. As a creative type guy with 120+ IQ I have met one or two women smarter than myself, and quite a few men especially in the math/physics realm.

OP's question kind of posits a high IQ guy would even need to consciously think about it which is often not the case for 130 140+ people.

There's also a lot of different kinds of intelligence, there's intuitive intelligence, there is deductive intelligence, spatial reasoning, rote memorization speed, generalized creativity. Absolutely different races possess different types of intelligence. IQ is only capacity to solve at high capacity how difficult of problems at pace.

Guy's don't need to have high IQ, I know a white guy with 95 IQ who married a super rich hot intelligent woman, he is 6'4 and a chill guy.

I’m a pretty big nerd with a reasonably high IQ. I’ve found this trait to be most useful in one particular circumstance: talking to foreign women.

As I noted in another thread a while back, I have cultivated a tendency to focus my attention on women in the USA who were either born abroad or raised primarily there. I find I do better with this group of women and take fewer L’s altogether.

In my experience, foreign women who come to the USA have relatively low expectations of men from the states with regard to intellect or multi-cultural understanding. They don’t expect you to know anything about their culture, their nation, their history, etc. Men who can clear this relatively low bar have a distinct advantage over others.

As a nerd, I spend an inordinate amount of time reading about current events and geopolitical affairs from around the planet. As a child, I cleaned my middle school library out of books from the geography section (which talked about each country in detail). I regularly view international news programs on youtube and elsewhere that talk about many nations and their affairs. I constantly survey Wikipedia and the CIA World Factbook for more information about some of the most random nations an American coud think to look up, just for the sake of knowing. I’m able to retain and recall a lot of this information long after I’ve seen it.

When it comes to game, this has been a benefit. I’ll give you an example: recently, I was in a club and I approached a set of two girls. Both of these girls were Russian speakers. I focused on one, but her roommate hovered and looked poised to easily become a foil to any approach I made on her friend. I was able to use standard friendly engagement (whereby I consistently and directly engage the roommate and build rapport with her even as the focus remains primarily on her friend) to keep her at bay for the most part and avoid having her push me away, and her friend liked me enough (and signaled as much to the roommate) to help mitigate the risk of a block for much of the night.

What helped me more than anything, though, was my reserve of random knowledge about random nations most Americans have never heard of.

In the midst of my friendly engagement approach, I asked the roommate where she was from. She said she was from Belarus. My response?

“Wow, that’s cool. I hear Minsk is a really beautiful city.”

Her face lit up like a christmas tree. She simply couldn’t believe I knew what a “Minsk” even was. Of course, I have never been to Minsk, nor have I any tangible connection to the city or any place in Belarus. I only know anything about the place because of my long history of nerddom – some time long ago, I read a book about Belarus, surveyed a chapter about the country in some other book/article about Soviet military history, and/or saw a few stories about the country on the YouTube channels of the BBC, Al Jazeera English, Russia Today, or Deutsche Welle. I have cultivated, over time, an ability to sort through reams of information about many places, people, and things, store that information, and recall it at relatively random periods of time. This is what happened here: I have read a lot about Eastern Europe (not only the geopolitics, but the vehicles, the military equipment, and the cultures) and over time I just happened to retain some information about Belarus. I then maintained the ability to recall that information at pretty much any time it was prompted.

Her immediate response after lighting up once I mentioned her nation’s capital (also her hometown) was this: “You are so approved! You are approved times 1000!!!” She immediately became more expressive, open, and friendly toward me from that point on.

I took her friend home that night and the roommate not only didn’t get in the way, she went ahead and facilitated it. She was my ally on the night I took her friend home, the day after when I took her friend out on the town (and had to stop at her place first so as to allow my girl to change and all that – the roommate made sure to plan to leave and give us the living space completely at this time) and the day after that when I met her friend before she left town (the roommate again made sure to accommodate us by ensuring we had the apartment all to ourselves and timing her departure properly to make this possible).

This roommate was not a wilting violet – she was tough and protective of her friend, and showed a willingness to coldly and efficiently dismiss unapproved men (this included several men I saw who attempted to approach her while I was engaging her friend – she was having none of it). If I had not been approved by her, my interaction with her friend would have been done the night I met her (and quickly). I got as far as I did because I was able to disarm her. Part of that disarming was just in my ability to build simultaneous rapport with her as I focused on her friend (and ability anyone with a few years experience in the game should have), but the main thrust of that disarming was my knowledge – simply knowing just a small amount about her country and culture did enough to ramp up rapport to a point where I went from strange guy whom she must shield friends from to cool friend who must be assisted in getting at her friends.

All of that because I’m a nerd who reads my ass off and can retain quite a bit of the information I gain and recall it on command. All of the reading paid off.

I have many other examples of this kind of thing working for me. There are the Korean girls who were shocked at the fact that I knew conscription was a thing in their home country and could utter three or four basic Korean phrases. There were the Brazilian girls who were pleasantly surprised by the fact that I knew how expensive cars were in their country and that their football (soccer) leagues had complex nexuses between state and national systems that most foreigners couldn’t comprehend. There are the Estonians who are amazed by the fact that I have the ability to recognize their flag and distinguish their nation from Lithuania. There are the Kazakhs who couldn’t believe how much I knew about Astana and the Uzbeks who appreciated the fact that I understood the capabilities and limits of their football team (and also appreciated the fact that I didn’t confused them with Kazakhs).

I can go on. Suffice it to say that having a good level of intelligence/nerdiness to you may not generally be an asset to men, but can be helpul if used properly. In my case, when this trait is used to better understand a large number of distant places, the result is much stronger rapport with the foreign women and better results in the field engaging with them. I also find that these women tend to appreciate displays of intellect/knowledge a bit more than most American girls anyway, so that just adds to the positive impact.

Again, I haven’t been to any of the places I’ve mentioned, nor do I have any other sort of deep connection with them. My understanding stems entirely from a tendency to read a lot, retain lots of info about lots of different places/histories I have no personal connection with, and recall it quickly in the field when prompted. That’s a benefit of melding intelligence and stereotypical nerdiness (traits which some may just amalgamate as signs of “high IQ”) with game, IMO.

Just my two cents.
