Only to bring some anti thesis to fuel the argument :

People keep talking about high IQ = being smart but I don't agree with that... or only in a scientific way and that's the very problem here: Talking scientificly.

You got average iQ guys who do lot better due to expérience in life based on trial and errors and even low IQ dude keep knocking up more women that it is humanly understandable.





If smart people were that "smart", those guys, who keep providing scientific experiments on how women behave or how this or that is bad for your health, would fuck tons of bitches but I guess that it is the only thing that they weren't able to study...

High IQ sees pattern, learn and adapt faster but in no way the fact that being a genius in calculus can be translated into getting women or maybe it's me and this guy is drowning into pussies

It's well known that IQ is associated with slower life histories (k-selected vs r-selected), so it is possible that those with high IQ are just late starters. I was also a late starter at 19 ( with high IQ) but as life has gone on things have got better and better - I am now mid-fifties.

From experience and observation I would guess that for older men (40 +) high IQ is a definite advantage, enabling it's possessor by that time to have got all his shit together - lots of money, well-rounded life experience, brimming with self-confidence etc etc.

Don't confuse intelligence with nerdiness.

It's a blessing and a curse: high IQ allows you to learn basic game very quickly and also to analyze what's going wrong and what you need to do better in the future.

On the other hand, it also lets you grossly overestimate the amount of control you have over a situation or overanalyze situations. As someone with a naturally depressive bias, I sometimes end up blaming myself for things I know I had no control over.

I've dealt with this issue in the past. I've worked substantially on my social IQ, body language, and other soft skills so that I can pass as dumb or as smart as I want.

I tend to underplay my intelligence a substantial amount of the time.

It's to the point that when girls see a glimpse of my accomplishments that they are intimidated. It's scared the kitten several times .

So I downplay my accomplishments. It has made my working life and my social life a lot more lubricated. And has gotten me a lot more pussy.

I don't get pedantic and obsessive over trivia like I used to, and I find the trait extremely annoying amongst people. I encounter it a lot, working with many very educated individuals.

You have to pop the "My brain is the center of the universe" bubble in a social setting in order to not come off as an 'sperging robot to women.

I joke or deflect questions about my profession unless I think the girl is the type to actually appreciate it. For younger girls, I flat out lie by understating it.

If you cannot use your so called intelligence to learn to actively tease girls when that's what they really desire, and how to fix your body posture, then you are not as smart as you think.

Apathy is a cop out.

I know because I was in denial about my need to change for many, many years.

Yup, a big part of being smart is knowing when you don't want to appear as intelligent as you are. I think Mike Cernovich calls it "being the grey man."

It took me years to "get over myself" and just have more fun. I dont always enjoy not being able to fire off random factoids, but it pays dividends.

that dude who is always being smart and contrarian is often the dude who everyone disappears on when it comes time for the after parties or the fun nights.

I think the best use of it is getting a nice place for bringing girls to.

Getting the right champagne.

And most importantly, finding ways to get out of buying appetizers. Guys that buy appetizers I've noticed are tied strongly to a lower IQ.

Seriously though the most useful trait in practice as mentioned before is juggling the organization and logistics of hanging out with 4+ girls in a week, text, call back times, which attitude to bring to which girl based on her mood, while keeping your stories straight about what you've been up to lately.

Foreign language and musical instrument, also previously mentioned, are great - I think you really need to commit to become not just kinda good, you need to be great at either for it to really matter.
