Good to see them moving and holding R's feet to the fire. Socialized healthcare is the single most definitive piece of leftist ideology, and must be removed. And all of a sudden, I only see Rand Paul doing anything about it.

By the way, has there been any news about IRS suppressing conservative groups? Last I checked, nothing was done, and no one punished. And then it fell off the radar.

The group is not waiting two weeks to follow through on its promise to hold lawmakers' feet to the fire.

"The House and Senate sent this repeal of Obamacare to Obama's desk. Why are they afraid to send it to President Trump's desk?" the group stated Tuesday, referring to the ACA repeal bill Republicans passed in 2015.

"After nearly seven years, it's time for Republicans to follow through on their promises and repeal Obamacare by using the 2015 reconciliation bill as the baseline," Brandon stated. "It would be a stunning level of political hypocrisy if Republicans failed to follow through. Thankfully, principled conservatives are fighting for full repeal, not a watered down bill or Obamacare-lite," he said in praising Cruz, Jordan, Lee, Meadows, Paul and Walker for insisting on making the 2015 legislation the floor for any bill passed this year.

To make this work, we need to create Public Enemy Number One's. That means target Schumer, McCain, etc. and make them known as enemies of the people. Make it such that those who support these outrageous policies will be known as Persona Non Grata. The only way socialized anything works is if you have a country like Norway, where everyone is basically someone else's cousin. High taxes, high trust, high standard of living. Nobody is getting super rich. Works only if you have a country of productive, homogenous citizens. Doesn't work in any other situation.

I'm in agreement with SMLE there. In my 7.62x54r country I'm from with proper socialized healthcare, I'm very happy I don't live there anymore. Long lines, mandatory bribes, crapshoot of good vs. bad doctors, incompetence, laziness, bureaucracy, you can have it. Whatever your country may be. I'd like free market healthcare, where I'm able to choose the doctor I like, and pay him cash for the services, with no one looking over my shoulders or having to approve anything.

They have a socialist universal healthcare that is payed for via taxation.

Everyone receives equal healthcare, and the system works exceptionally well.

Its been working very successfully for 40 years.

It is only now starting to collapse (especially the UK) but the irony for the cause of the collapse isn't that its too expensive or unworkable or unfair etc.

Its because once they allowed private medical operators access to the peoples free money, corruption, greed and the rot set in.
They now are moving to the US system where medical costs are very high, and they are getting a two tier system of health care based on wealth.

Don't forget you have a "socialised" police and army and they work very well.


I am all for capitalism but I believe some areas are far too important to allow private money making focused people manage. Health, Police, Army and Education.

I agree there are issues - immigration undermines trust in allowing outsiders access to welfare, costs need to be controlled and common good dictates management of the best health outcomes ie bang for health buck.

I live in a country that has no social healthcare. If you are poor and sick you die in the gutter while people step over you because you are poor.
I'm happy to give 4% of my net profits towards a system that ensures everyone gets a decent level of healthcare.

Socialized medicine doesn't work in places like the U.K. once there are too many parasite-class immigrants that come and drain the system, while paying little or no taxes. Mass immigration coupled with socialized anything is a recipe for failure. You can't socialize anything once a majority of the citizens become unproductive. Coupled with increases in automation, even less people are going to be work, and then even less people are going to be being paying taxes into the system. What passes for "working" now will be a shambles easily within our lifetime. It is not sustainable.

I agree John - immigration destroys the community trust vital for welfare and socialist institutions to work effectively.

It also props up the ponzi scheme of exponential population growth.

I favor a mix of high tech, low population, homogeneous population society, based on capitalism and entrepreneurial spirit, but grounded by essential services being socialised.

ie Australia in the 60's and Japan today?

Yes and no. What people get for free they value not. Many people in Australia fail to take care of themselves because they know they can turn up at a hospital on death's door and be taken care of. People game the system disgustingly. The current con is to complain of severe and crippling back pain (doctor's can't disprove it) for 27 days before miraculously recovering and discharging yourself. Go home for a day and then come back the next. This way they get waited on hand and foot for 96 percent of the time while paying minimal rent on some shithole (since they're never there anyway) and getting all their needs met for free. If they stayed the extra day they would have their pensions taken for that month, by if they leave on day 27 and come back on day 29 they pocket the lot.

That and the morbidly obese people coming in and never leaving means there is a terminal (literally in some cases) shortage of beds available for people with real, non-self inflicted problems.

Couple this with the overall decline in the public sector ever since women started being promoted to management positions and suddenly nobody could get fired for anything (except men for misogyny). We have what I describe as a first world medical system being staffed by third world cunts and I know for a fact that a lot of people die needlessly due to shitty management not putting the whip to the slackers, and the ones picking up the slack burning out early and leaving the field. Malpractice is rampant, especially with god-awful immigrant doctors who I would bet any amount of money are not qualified to first world standards or in some cases not qualified at all.

The new blood are no salvation. The opposite. They are typically useless pricks who went straight from high school to uni and have never done a day's honest work in their life. The medical schools at least for nursing (the backbone of the sector) have become diploma mills and routinely turn out students that can't even find a vein to draw blood upon graduation. They are consistently obnoxious and spend more time on their phones than doing their job. Their attitude is that they did their time in uni and from there it should be "smooth sailing sitting on my ass while drawing a 90k salary".

A lot of these issues are generic societal ones but in the public sector those issues are magnified exponentially. You go to a private hospital and those same issues are simply not present. Staff are expected to work politely and professionally or they get the fucking boot.

Our entire medical sector (at least in my state) is a basket case and the only thing that keeps faith in the system is that most people are blissfully unaware of how bad things are until they or a loved one end up needing treatment. When you go further to consider how much taxpayer money this clusterfuck sucks up it truly beggars belief.

I got diagnosed with an illness and the regular doctors "Medicare" ones just threw pills at me and said go on live your life, even though those pills made my quality of life shit. Went and saw a private clinic and they took a holistic approach which brought my quality of life back to what it was before. I love the free market, I don't have insurance but paying out of pocket isn't so much even without healthcare, it's all a fucken doom and gloom tactic used by people who want "free" healthcare.

All the red tape bullshit is insane, general practioners need to do 7 years of schooling to hand out anti-biotics and cough syrup, am I missing something, can't nurses or chemists do that

Gavin McInnes made this point when debating a SJW femynyst type; when trying to list countries where socialism supposedly works, she listed (of course) Norway, Sweden, Finland etc. He then pointed out that those were all countries that were incredibly homogeneous (and white), far more so than the USA.

Unchecked immigration or a welfare state, you can't have both.

It's interesting to note that the Iron Maiden herself never tried to touch the behemoth that is the NHS. I've heard that it is the world's 3rd largest employer, after the Chinese People's Army and the Indian National Police. That's how entrenched the beast is.
