The Conservative party are a disgrace. They're not patriotic and against family values. Gay marriage was introduced by David Cameron, a Conservative PM, not a left wing lunatic.

In the 80s The Conservative PM Margaret Thatcher introduced Section 28:

David Cameron was criticised in 2011 when he told Commonwealth leaders at a meeting in Australia that UK foreign aid should become conditional on their decriminalisation of homosexuality.

Same-sex relations are still illegal in 36 Commonwealth member states, including nine that have a maximum penalty of life imprisonment.

May said: “I am all too aware that these laws were often put in place by my own country. They were wrong then, and they are wrong now. As the UK’s prime minister, I deeply regret both the fact that such laws were introduced, and the legacy of discrimination, violence and even death that persists today.

“As a family of nations we must respect one another’s cultures and traditions. But we must do so in a manner consistent with our common value of equality, a value that is clearly stated in the Commonwealth charter.”

She added: “There remains much to do. Nobody should face persecution or discrimination because of who they are or who they love. And the UK stands ready to support any Commonwealth member wanting to reform outdated legislation that makes such discrimination possible.”

This year’s summit is officially hosting gay rights activists under the umbrella of the Commonwealth Equality Network, giving grassroots campaigners the opportunity to lobby international government ministers and officials directly.

Well interesting times ahead as David Davis (brexit secretary has quit along with the next guy in line), now Boris Johnson has quit as Foreign Secretary. Davis is still in the cabinet it seems, for now.

There are the typical inside sources citing Boris doesn't want to change leadership and only the policy but we all know how much horse shit these unknown sources can put out.

This is a wait and see game for now but if a third goes and it could be likely then the rumours of a possible vote of confidence in may might not be a rumour afterall.

God only knows what's going on in so-called 'government' at the minute, but if it means May goes, then I'll take it. Hopefully Davis and Johnson will now be free to do good work sticking the knives in from outside, Rees-Mogg can move up a gear and dispatch the enemy with his rapier-quick wit and UKIP can regain some lost confidence and get stuck in again. Ruth Davidson is polling well, but the problem is that Scotland needs her, as the SNP are a nest of vipers who'd play any move to Westminister as an insult to Scotland. The MPs are tearing into each other and the Tories especially so. Essentially its Brexit vs Remainers and it looks like we may get another vote on Brexit.

It's finally looking like we might be heading towards a yuuge and beautiful Brexit! Also to add the icing on the cake is it's the attitude of the EU, remoaners and moanmentum/Labour who are inadvertently going to give us the WTO/no-deal Brexit. Which realistically, from day one, was always going to be the best deal available.

Unfortunately, we'll most likely have to deal with moanmentum/Labour for a single solitary term. Although it just might be worth it. How old will moggie be next time around?

I REALLY don't see a second referendum happening. Moanmentum/Labour won't vote for it, as they can't do what they want to do under EU laws, a perfect storm!

Abdul Aziz, Adil Khan and Qari Abdul Rauf were among nine men jailed in May 2012 for their part in a grooming ring which plied vulnerable girls with drink and drugs so they could “pass them around” for sex.

The court heard that some of the victims, who were aged in their early teens, were raped and physically assaulted and some were forced to have sex with “several men in a day, several times a week”.

Following their conviction, Aziz, Khan and Rauf were informed by the Home Office in 2015 that they would be stripped of their British citizenship, after which the home secretary would consider deporting them to Pakistan.

They were told: “British citizenship is a privilege that confers particular entitlements and benefits, including the right to a British passport and the right to vote in general elections.

“It is not in the public interest that individuals who engage in serious and/or organised crime, which constitutes a flagrant abuse of British values, enjoy those entitlements and benefits.”

The men challenged the decision at the first tier tribunal (FTT), arguing that removing their citizenship would breach their right to a family life under the European convention on human rights, as they have children living in the UK.

The FTT ruled against the men, concluding that “depriving the appellant of his British citizenship would not in itself prevent him continuing his relationship with his family”.

The upper tribunal also rejected the men’s appeal, arguing that the serious nature of their crimes meant it was reasonable for the home secretary to view the removal of their citizenship as “conducive to the public good”.

The men then took their case to the court of appeal and represented themselves before three senior judges at a hearing in July. Adil Khan argued that he was innocent of any crime, something the judges dismissed.

In a ruling on Wednesday, Lord Justice Sales said: “Given the extremely serious nature of the offending by each appellant, there is no good ground for calling that conclusion into question. There was no error of law by the FTT.”

All three men, from Rochdale, were found guilty of conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with children under the age of 16 and trafficking for sexual exploitation following a trial at Liverpool crown court.

Aziz, who was one of the ringleaders of the grooming gang and referred to by some of the others as The Master, was jailed for nine years.
Married father of five Rauf was jailed for six years and Khan for eight years.

Outlining their offending, Sales said: “The sentencing judge described how in some cases the girls were raped callously, viciously and violently; and in some cases they were driven round Rochdale and Oldham to be made to have sex with paying customers.

“All the men treated the girls as though they were worthless and beyond all respect. They were motivated by lust and greed.”

Under the British Nationality Act 1981, the home secretary has the power to strip an individual of their British citizenship – as long as it would not leave them stateless – if it is seen as “conducive to the public good” or they obtained their British citizenship fraudulently.

Depriving a person of citizenship for the public good can be done on the grounds of “involvement in terrorism, espionage, serious organised crime, war crimes or unacceptable behaviours”.

Finally. Now just the other 9,9999 to go.
