This article states there was more than one officer in the car and suggests the perpetrator was a teenager. Not only was their reaction to speed off and do nothing ... they called in a helicopter to deal with the situation and had to use other resources to identify the perpetrator. So what should have been a simple arrest probably burned 5 figures.

One thing that surprised me when I was growing up is how little respect people have for the police. My father and all his friends disrespected them. My cousin whose friend was stabbed in an unprovoked race hate crime has no time for them due to their handling; the attacker was from Pakistan. The one that surprised me the most is when one of my friends' dad, who was a straight-laced Christian, referred to the police as "the fuzz" and "not worth calling." I knew a guy from down south when I was in my early 20s. He was a big Daily Mail reader and I thought that would be the exact sort of person who would reactionaryly support the police. But he said if he was ever burgled again he wouldn't bother calling the police, because they just treat you like a criminal and don't do anything.
It takes time for a people to start to hate. For Britains to hate their own police or dislike them and not trust them outside of being a criminal or ethnic group is a huge fall from the time they were trusted to deal with problems.
Peoples frustrations are elevated when the cops do nothing, dont turn up or fail to investigate. I mean what else is there to do? If you hurt the scum who did it you get charged, if you hunt them down yourself the police wont like you doing their job.
When Tommy Robinson supporters were involved in street protests the police came down on them hard and captured as many faces as they could to later charge or warn them
Around Easter London had these envionmental wombles called extinction rebellion who took over important intersections and bridges. The police just arrested a few and didnt detain. They had those bridges for 5 days and the police did nothing.
Those arrested were not detained and simply went back to the protests. Millions were lost, god knows how much man hours went down the drain. Some were even dancing with the protesting hippies or skateboarding.
It didnt take long for the police to crack down on TR supporters and they were just milling around and then caged into violence by the police so they could crackdown on them.
They are ineffective and stupid and deserve every bit of scorn they get.
May being defiant to the end is hilarious. Not only is she going to sink the Tories like the Titanic but she will destroy it, ushering in a new type of conservative party with a different set of people.
I wonder how much those in Westminister will panic when they are obliterated in the May elections and then a potential GE because they cannot get a deal. The only way out is for the people to vote in a group who will go either for or against brexit.
Makes you wonder if she is doing this on her own steam or someone is guiding her to destroy the Tories.

It was recently revealed by EU Parliamentarian, Guy Verhofstadt, that Olly Robbins (Treason May's chief negotiator) asked him for Belgian citizenship. Verhofstadt also laughed that he has made Britain a colony.

It's hard to dislike him. He talks a lot of sense. I'd rather listen to someone like this than any politician. He doesn't labour the intellectual angle, he's really just a down to earth guy. With a great sense of humour.

We have major interests in the region there and are also strengthening our stronghold geo-politcally. It goes way back to the time Bahrain was a Protectorate of our country, only to be relinquished in the 70's. Let me fact check that. About right.
