I wouldn't be so harsh on RSD. They are on a different niche than we are, but the basics are the same (no wonder, since AWALT):

1. Cut watching main stream media
2. Go to the gym/ practice fighting/ sports/ etc
3. Develop confidence
4. Talk to many girls
5. Read. A lot
6. Etc.
   

Basically, be the best man you can be.

From here, interests diverge. RSD is more on one night stands and short term thinking, while RVF and ROK are more alt-right and traditionalist (which involves relationships, marriage and kids, thus long-term thinking). No wonder RSD says you don't need to judge a girl, for instance. I don't blame them. If I only want an ONS with a girl, I don't care if she has tatoos, daddy issues or her notch count. All I need is access to her, to game her. Sure, her personality and values matter much more when we are looking to start a family, but that's a different ball game.

I wouldn't consider Owen a crook. I watched (and watch) his videos from RSD Free Tour and I learned a lot from them. He doesn't speak only about game, but also about success, social conditioning and many other topics related to this subject. I learned many useful things from his videos, as much as I am learning from RVF and ROK, but on different matters and perspectives.

When I first read the red pill articles, I god a bit insecure (OK, my game is not stellar, but I know a few things about women) and my first impression was that women's are the equivalent of Hitler for mankind. Then I kept reading and I realized that if I am being and acting like a man, sooner or later only the good girls will remain.

Yes, when RSD has the equivalent of a "Just Had Sex & Notch" thread where GAME GRADUATES can share results that bear some resemblance to the real experience of seeing a girl naked one time, I will certainly take them more seriously.

I don't think it's fair to call RSD crooks. Though I'd never need, use, or buy their products, they are very clear about what their products are. They give away tons of free content. So anyone complaining that they misrepresented themselves is confusing misrepresentation with simple disappointment.

I think the root problem, and probably OP's problem, is that not everyone can be good with women. I think RSD targets these people, as most men are socially adept enough not to need them. But I don't think it's any different than weight watchers targeting chronically obese people with promises of being fit.

When normal dudes try to act like a sociopath like Julien, and end up disappointed because they're just not wired to do that naturally, and they discourage other forms of self-improvement, it certainly is a personality-cult based misleading of how a man can improve his chances of getting laid. And it's done for profit. So no-one is confused in making those assertions.

What confused stuff is this? Yes, everybody can improve their odds with women, or getting fit. And whenever misleaders like RSD get to them, their odds go down (and RSD's profits go up). RSD are just like a crutch.

Whilst in the short-term you'll do better by gaining confidence from their IDGAF ideas and game routines, in the long-term your success will be limited due to their narrow focus on Game being the only pillar that determines your sexual success - ignoring the other 3 pillars of Looks, Wealth and Status.

It results in guys with atrocious looks who have to spend years developing their Game skills in order to compensate which could otherwise be fixed with a few months of gym, dieting, fashion learning and sorting out other appearance issues. It's ridiculous to ignore such low hanging fruit.



Whilst I admit a guy who looks like this will undoubtedly have some good Game advice to share he'll also tell you to keep hitting clubs every night to get a decent sexual life instead of being a normal man who just regularly goes to the gym, has a good diet and meets new women as he goes about his day. It's time-wasting, unhealthy, unfulfilling and unbalanced.

They also completely ignore the cultural and political aspects and put all the blame on the guy - it's all your fault man, you're not getting laid because your Game just isn't good enough (ignoring the fact they chose to pickup women in a shitty environment in a feminist country and they could instead be far happier in another place).

It's just all a big scam to sell their products - guys are far better served by not taking on these false beliefs as well as wasting their time and money when instead they could read the tens of thousands of free posts that has been collectively written by the manosphere.

They start off with a premise that has some kernel of truth to it, take it to an absurd extreme, and then sell a "method" which seems logical and intuitive, except for the fact that it's derived from an incorrect set of assumptions.

Like all "get rich quick" schemes, application of one-size-fits-all cookie cutter methods are doomed to failure. There are no shortcuts, and no substitute for "boots on the ground" experience. Anyone who tells you differently is selling something.

If the only things a man learns from this forum are "Approach and talk to more women" and "Don't fucking overanalyze and worry about any one particular situation so much" and otherwise just does "just be yourself", he'll probably be way ahead of the curve.
