Although better to know Russian of course, I found this not to be true depending on the type girl sought. All highly educated women in Moscow speak English. Russian would surely benefit the pure player or those outside of Moscow.

This is from experience with 1 year on the ground living in Moscow near ring 1. But hey, I can’t tell between grades of gas in my car either.

It's easier to love SPB than Moscow. Logistics and its sheer size make Moscow a tough nut to crack. Living there long term would probably be better, since SPB starts to feel small after a while. Both have plenty of women but in SPB girl's wibes are more proportional to their looks and desires so it's an easier city for a quick bang mission.

@washedupvet, while you do have 1 year experience i still will politelt disagree with you. Ive been going to russia for tourism, friends, gaming since the 90s and have met many college educated women in Moscow who knew almost no English. Sure, They can understand basic sentences but having any type of intelligent debate is far from guarantee. Of course my sample is different from a typical RooshV guy as i usually go for older demographics (20s-30s). On the street doing day-game such as in Gorky Park it is a crapshoot finding a good English speaker.

To be honest if i was not fluent in Russian already i would probably stick to easier places like Estonia with just as good of quality as the ROI on a short trip to Moscow (under 2 weeks) is too low.

My experience matches that of TripleG. Almost all russian girls I've met were university students and only 1 spoke good english.

I spent several months in SPB and could constantly find new nightlife venues, even on my last few weeks there. Depending on the kind of crowd you prefer you can venture out of the central districts and try out clubs where foreigners rarely go to. The city really has more options than it might initially seem.

No doubt.. or even spent some more time there. It's a lot to take in. I also had some pretty bad luck a few times. It's a big ass city though, my type of city is more the walk everywhere type.

St. Petersburg has definitely climbed it’s way into my top 5 favorite cities in the world. Almost the top, although I think I still prefer Krakow a bit more overall, especially due to ease of visiting. It is nice not worrying about the amount of tourists.. Same with Tinder, never let them choose the place; unless you already know what the place is like, you’ll get there, they will be with a friend, and they’ll want to order a bottle of champagne or get $15 cocktails. There is no reason to pay more that $10 for the strongest of strong cocktails, normally more like $5 though

1) Do you find it easier to bang locals or other travelers (hostel)
2) How are logistics different for each? ie seems like private room in hostel is way to go for travelers (automatically conveys higher status). airbnb may seem better for locals since hostel may feel less safe?

@AMZ contrary to popular belief with a lot of guys on here, I only really go for locals in Europe. South America probably 1/2 and 1/2, Central America only backpackers for the most part. This trip has been only locals aside from the most recent, but it was an interesting enough country I toon the dip.

I do hostels at lot of the time when it’s short term in a place with cool hostels- check out my hostel data sheet for tips on logistics, as it can be tricky with wristbands sometimes if the girl isn’t staying there. Private is the way to go, and some hostels aren’t as strict on guests when you have a private. Lately I’ve been doing AirBNB a lot because I’ve either been with friends or in places with shit hostels, or alternatively the good hostels have public bars, so there isn’t any advantage to staying there. All of that said, if you are only going for locals AirBNB is definitely going to make it easier

I spent the last week in Tallinn. Not a ton to update, probably should have had a few more notches, but I was mostly doing repeats. Want to give a big shout out to DN for keeping this thread alive with the capers, definitely the highlight of the travel section. You have a great taste in where in the world you travel around as well.

Want to especially say thanks for all the tips with regards to saying in hostels. Unlike DN, I'm would consider myself lower energy and I'm not going to have great success on the bar/club scene, at least solo, definitely have a more academic and conversation based game.

However I've learnt here how to find a suitable hostel, how to isolate a cute girl (was as simple as suggesting heading to the beach when someone went to sleep) and how to put covers across a bunk bed for shared room privacy.

Results was a German student many years younger than me with arguably the best all-round body I've had sweaty and sandy sex with.

Doing this travel thing as long term as you isn't on my life plan agenda, but I'm walking around the airport with a big grin knowing what can be done in the right place, right time, and the right frame of mind.

If I spot we are in the same part of the world I'll buzz in.

The final few days of the trip were quite a good time. Copenhagen is definitely a fun city aside from the price. More my jam than let’s say.. Amsterdam.

First night out a friend and I went out with 2 French sisters. We both got some kisses in a bit more, but couldn’t get the close. Went back out with another guy and 2 Finnish girls. Again, kisses, a bit more, but couldn’t seal the deal.

- You make a great salary.
- Your job is location independent.
- You make the most of this by going with the flow and taking off when you want to take off and staying put when you want to stay put.
- You make enough money to save a good amount for retirement while still traveling at will.

I also wander how someone can go out and spend money every single day to party and chase women...even trust fund babies eventually need to account for their finances and time spent(wasted). I know quite a few “location independent” people including one extreme case of a friend who travels the world doing dance workshops, getting his Room ad board fully covered, visiting the best clubs and getting paid to teach and dance w beautiful women but even he needs to be fully rested and to practice to maintain his dream job thus cant go out all the time.

While I haven't met DN personally, I've met guys who found ways to "beat the system" very fast in life. These types of guys figure out how to beat the money and sex game faster and easier than everyone else. It isn't fair, but that's just life.

For example, I witnessed a fellow forum member build a fully-fledged and profitable lead-generating website with world-class copywriting in under 2 hours. This guy also runs incredible game and pulls hot girls in one of the most difficult regions of the world. And he goes out most nights of the week.

I congratulate anyone who can do this, and genuinely wish them the best, because it must be fucking awesome to be that gifted.

I personally have to work harder and longer than most people I know, because that's just how I'm wired. I also don't respond well to alcohol at all, so I barely even drink these days (1-2 drinks max). On top of that, I need at least 8-9 hours of rest every night, and I have to eat a special "high performance" diet to feel my best.

We are all different.

I work a few hours a day, although the summer is pretty dead. But for example this winter I'll probably get a job at a hostel, cute accommodation fees to 0, free food, and discount drinks. Don't need to make much to maintain that lifestyle. In the summer I'm normally in Europe, so my hours are 4-7pm. Gonna start a few new things when I'm back in Toronto next week, so hopefully I'll be working less eventually!

Back in the USA! It's been a pretty successful time back.. I'm lazy after a late night so not the most in depth post, but here's a quick summary.

+1, 30 years old, mexican, 6.5/10, 57 on the year
First day back I took a well deserved night off to readjust to the time zone. Wednesday night in SF we did the rock, paper, scissors pub crawl. Back in the USA! It's been a pretty successful time back.. I'm lazy after a late night so not the most in depth post, but here's a quick summary.

Not in Toronto no. Regarding the bumble girl, that's probably the 4-5th time I've stolen a girl from a date like that. It's a bit deep into game, but it's actually pretty hard to fend off someone that is trying to steal your online app date. I normally approach it with how did you guys meet, when they say Bumble, reply something like "ohh that's cute, first date" "What was the opening message." Then just keep the conversation going. By default, he can't really get mad at you, or he'll look bad. If he's friendly, he'll look like a pussy. Realistically she has only known him a bit longer than you, so you are almost at par at that point.

Actually curious what y'all think would be the best way to fend that off. I've had similar situations where a guy asks "is that your girlfriend" about a girl that I've only been on a few dates. Once you say no, they latch on and ask if she is allowed to sleep with other guys and what not.. similar bind to the above scenario as the girl doesn't really realize whats going on and it's difficult to defend against. The best solution I've had is just to go overboard and say something like "she's my wife, we are on our honeymoon" then get a bit stern if he sticks around and say something like "hey man, your friendly and all, but we'd like to have a private conversation if that's cool"

To defend against the rando commando (if you're the one on the date) you can do a number of things

First - never mention online or first date. If asked, roleplay like DN. "We're on our honeymoon, we almost missed our flight because *she* (points to date) tested positive for explosives when they swabbed her hand. I think I married a domestic terrorist, we might have to get the marriage annulled." And even if she answers first (bumble date) just laugh, say you wish, and go into the married/honeymoon/3kids story

Before he has a chance to respond you ask him where his girlfriend is, if he says she's not here - tool him for leaving his girlfriend home alone. If he says no, reply with;

"Aww man, don't worry there's a lot of single girls here, just act cool and they'll like you. Maybe relax your shoulders a bit you seem tense. If you can't find a girl by the end of the night I'll buy you a beer buddy. "

Then turn and *ignore* his ass. Turn the girl and say something to move her away. "Let's go get a drink, let's go play pool" he can't follow without looking like a chode.

But if he replies "it's complicated" and starts spitting game to the girl, don't panic because I'll take good care of her for you ;-)

You can do it any number of ways but the key elements are;

-make him look like a chode, even slightly is enough.
-spiking her emotions so you will have more compliance to move her away from him. Even if you only get her to move 45 degrees and turn her back on the guy. He will look like a chode trying to get her attention from behind or following.

If he reopens later you can cut him off and go aww man did you find a girl yet? Hang in there buddy eventually you'll find someone.

He can't get mad at you because you're "helping him".

This lifestyle is definitely achievabe, as I have a similar situation. But this just makes me wonder if i’m living life to it’s fullest potential. When I total the number of days I typically stay abroad per year, it’s only about 9-10 weeks in comparison. The rest of the time I stay home. I’ll usually take three trips a year, for 3 weeks at a time.

I suppose it depends where i’m at as well, as I found myself being drained from the harsh climate and time difference in Asia, although I’ve been fortunate in recent years to not have to interact with business contacts back home too much, and can just deliver what I do to meet deadlines.

I think I like Europe best, and could remain there and not feel like i’m always battling having to stay motivated all of just 2-3 hours a day on average, 5 days a week. Career advancement has made me a lazy pos sometimes, it seems, but I pack my days pretty tight with things to do given that I don’t ever stay in a place(s) longer than a month when I’m abroad. I do kind of miss being home, too.

Early 30’s though, and unmarried/child-less. I think I might re-configure how i’m doing things.

I liked the Argentinian story, I'm surprised that didn't lead to a fight. Glad it all worked out in the end with you, but how in the hell did you avoid fighting with the Argentinian guy after he smashed something in front of your feet, late at night, when you were both drunk?

Also, working at a hostel seems like it would be right up your alley. I've seen average guys clean up working at them. From what you've posted on this thread about hooking up with 50+ 8's in a year, you're far above average. It would probably be like shooting fish in a barrel for you working at one.

Do you have any regions of the world in particular, where you're wanting to work in a hostel this winter?
