As much as I don't want to contribute to this imminent thread derailment, it needs to be pointed out for the record, there was absolutely no evidence indicating that he started a fight. That's the narrative the media latched onto to save face after their original "he shot him because he perceived him to be a threat" claim was debunked. Like the original claim, it is 100% unsubstantiated.

I'm leaving it there to avoid completely hijacking the thread.

No need to start drilling packs of hooligans, whatever their race.

Same rules apply. Remove yourself and your loved ones from the scene. Destroy anything in your path that endangers you in the meanwhile.

Allow the discontent for this kind of behaviour to build until action is demanded by the community, not a noisy subsection of that community that can be easily vilified. Push the cops relentlessly to return civility to the streets and vocally support them 100% when they do.

Martyring yourself to make fodder for the old-media is the height of stupidity. Zimmerman may be this or that, but nobody can say his life is the better for having shot that 'youth', nor can anyone say the world changed positively because of it.

An unabashedly segregated town here in the south has a policy at the 'nice mall' where no unaccompanied minors are allowed. That policy has been in place for 20 years.

This is obviously the way forward for any civilised location. Even packs of feckless teenagers mooching around without starting fights is still a stain on the community.

No unaccompanied minors allowed in a mall? What country is this, the US of A or the nanny-state molly-coddling version that it is slowly turning in to?

I genuinely cannot think of any other country in the world where some shopping centres/malls don't allow minors by themselves to enter. Even if they are causing trouble, let them come in and then let security let rip with the tazers on them. Although I suppose that would lead to a lot of 'didn't do nuthin' from the media.

Why run malls as babysitting locations for feckless mallrats that spend two bucks on a drink and then mooch around all day like vagrants?

No reasonable proprietor would tolerate it on a small scale, so there's no reason to tolerate it on a large scale. Particularly if it deals with bullshit like these flash mobs

If security in a mall tazed just one kid without incredible provocation--caught on video from six angles in full color--the mall would get sued and have to pay out more money than all the unaccompanied minors within twenty miles would spend there in a decade.

If a mall wants to tank the revenue of most of it's lessees and subsequently be a barren property with no tenants to provide income for the owner then by all means, ban unaccompanied minors or minors altogether. They provide a ton of income for malls and parents will just go to another if they have to walk their seventeen year old around the whole time. Besides the fact that probably 98% of minors are just fine walking around malls and acting like normal human beings. I'd rather not see an entire age group punished for the acts of the lowest common denominator, plus it's a fucking mall; one of the safer and earliest places teens start hanging out on their own away from overbearing parents. I don't really consider this type of behavior exclusive to minors anyway. Wasn't it just last year we had masses of people of all ages occupying malls for whatever reason during the holiday season and being a major inconvenience? It's a behavioral and cultural problem that won't be solved so easily. Maybe if so many minors stopped practically worshiping degeneracy and hedonism, and all their role models weren't purveyors of that shit, then maybe things would be different.

Not to stoke the fire, but the common denominator here isn't age as much as race. Obviously banning all unaccompanied coloured minors will cause an outrage, so instead they just ban all unaccompanied minors.

The only solution is to fix black communities (something Trump has shown an interest in doing, he met with sports stars who help black communities to hear what they had to say) and to stop all these silly lawsuits that happen when security deal with troublesome people.

Note: Black teenagers seem to behave perfectly fine in shopping centres/malls elsewhere in the world. It is a cultural problem.

If they're going to martyr themselves anyway, might as well do the rest of us a favor while they're Allahu-Akbarring away.
