You don't know that it will take 5 minutes of his time. That's an assumption you're making.

As an example I'm using to assess this situation, when I went to Europe on tour in an orchestra I took about 300 pictures, and the girl I was hooking up with was in about half of them. That was in the days of film cameras, too, and it was about a 3 week trip. It probably would've been many more if I'd had a smartphone and 4G to upload shit immediately.

They were together for three years; who knows how many pictures there are of her on his facebook? Who knows how they're organized? It might very well take hours to do the job. And that's time doing a task he didn't want to do, with an associated opportunity cost.

The breakup went terrible as I spent all my money on renting a new flat when I moved out and starved for a few weeks as a result (it was during the Holidays so I could not earn more money quickly). You could say it was even the catalyst for me learning Game. We really did not speak the whole time after the breakup, what upset me more was the lost money on the renovations but it is water under the bridge.

Now the reason why I made a thread is because she made a demand that simply annoyed me and I acted based on my instincts in telling her off/or offering to delete the pics for money and was wondering if I acted correctly. I honestly have not looked at the pics since reading Bang back in 2013 and living the "Day Game" lifestyle. So this was more of a matter of principle. After all, as some posters pointed out, it is not a big deal and as others also correctly pointed out, she does not have the right to tell me what to do or make me delete pics.

Also, I was concerned about the legal side to see if anyone ever had legal trouble in similar situations - I must admit, it did annoy me quite a bit the thought of potentially going to court over some pics that I do not care about.

So the bigger question is it worth standing up for yourself if the stakes are small like here? I am leaning towards yes, as a man should never allow someone to tell them what to do.

I think asking for $150 is hilarious! It was the one of the best things you could have done.

As for her porn, I would keep that as an ace card. While posting revenge porn is illegal, it's also very difficult to prove. If you upload it with a good VPN to some porn site, there is almost no way anyone can trace it back to you. She would have to spend a lot of money to prove it was you, and even then, if you really know your security shit she can't do it.

That said, it would be quite immoral. However, if you want to turn the asshole up to the 11th degree, you can always tell her to send you $3000 or else you'll post the porn vids online. Make sure you record her reaction because the hilarity from that would be priceless. I wouldn't post the porn vids online unless she did something truly crazy to you, however. But just the threat of blackmail has massive lulz value.

Take the $150 if she pays it. Delete the photos from Facebook and then re-post them almost immediately. In response to the irate message you get, reply, "But I did delete them from Facebook - and I re-posted them. Oh, you mean you want the rights to the images? Well that's $1500." OP, post a pic of a girl who looks LIKE her in the photos (not actually of her).

Also, my guess is since she's Russian, and you're likely not, you can simply unfriend/block her and her friends without losing most of your circle.

Those pictures are OP's intellectual property. They have value, even if only to him. It's absolutely ridiculous to say it's "girl-like" to refuse to sacrifice things he values--his time, his pictures--for no compensation whatsoever. He doesn't owe her a fucking thing.

And no, you don't have a say in whether someone uses pictures they took that include you in them on facebook, if the person is in the US. If they took the pictures and you agreed to be in them or were in some other situation where you had no expectation of privacy, they have all the rights to those pictures. Just being in a picture yields exactly zero rights to the property.

Where does this shit come from? Why do so many people in this thread think she's entitled to make such a request, or that he's obligated to agree to it?

I wouldn't take the pictures down and I would block her on facebook. I would have blocked her as soon as she made the request because she's just trying to start trouble with you. After you remove the photos, she'll have something else she'll want you to hide or get rid of. Perhaps she'll want you to delete every photo of her, on your hard drive, in a physical album, etc. Only an insecure control freak would ask such a thing, and she showed major disrespect even asking you to do it.
