Roosh, can we still go all "welcome to the forum" on guys who start a new thread with a single link, an unrelated thread title, no description, and zero analysis and commentary?
Yes definitely. That is being helpful. I should have defined "hazing" better, but it's really just rough insults without providing help.

After getting warned for posting in the Trump thread on election night, I've been very skittish about posting much on the forum because I don't want to get banned from here! I definitely should have read the rules more thoroughly before posting there, so putting them in the forefront with this thread is of great benefit! The upside is that in the future I will be much more focused on following the rules and keeping my posts within the guidelines.
I want you to know that, as someone who hasn't posted much to date, I really appreciate the focus you're putting on supporting new members! It really does a lot to make me feel welcome on the forum. I definitely hope to contribute a lot here in the future.
Seriously bro, keep posting and don't be scared. Don't post in the politics subforum until you have 250 posts. Beyond that, it takes a lot of douchbaggery to get a warning and ban from a mod.
You may get razzed by other forum members (if you're a dick/psychopath) but generaly we're pretty welcoming here.
Take a look at some of my earliest threads. I got razed a few times here and there. To be fair, this forum took me down a notch and helped eliminate that red pill hubris people get after taking the dive.

Although there are some funny "OP is a faggot" GIFs.
Either provide value or ask questions! Understated and very important.
When people ask questions it allows other members to provide value, and chances are the person who answers you will provide value to other guys who had the same question but never thought of asking it.
Ask, and ye shall receive.

On that note, does anyone else feel like a weight's been lifted off your shoulders since Trump won?
Also, have you guys noticed how lefties that have been in caves for 8 years are coming out of hibernation, like Michael Moore, for example?
This is greater than weight.

RE: State of the forum as we enter the Trump age
Mods, have you considered making a mandatory "pledge" period?
When I joined the forum, I signed up on January 5th. I didn't make the new member list on time, so I had to wait until February to become active. This month of "new member status" was an amazing time where I read threads, learned the culture, and began to understand what the community would expect from me. By the time I was posting, I was very familiar with the forum.
Requiring a month of "pledge" status, where new members can't post, would guarantee that newbies have to read the forum for a while before posting. Many members, like myself, had a period like this, but there are some who register late in the month who can post within a week of registration.

The guys that quickly reply back to their hazing in good spirits tend to stick around and continue to post high quality content.
As a relatively new member here (almost a year), this was my exact experience.
I'm glad I kept a thick skin, remained humble and tried my best to respect all of you as mentors.
This community has helped me grow mentally, physically and spiritually in mind-blowing ways that were unimaginable to me prior to joining.
I agree with Roosh that bringing the hazing down a notch (but only a single notch) could potentially be very beneficial.
As Red Pill Society grows and word spreads, this can only help our plight in the long run.
Scrapper, I'd like to take the moment to commend you for being a great example of what a newbie should do. Newbies should come in, give value, and only speak on what they're educated on. I remember your scrap metal datasheet well and think of it whenever I see your name. You came into the testosterone threads and dropped knowledge. While most newbies ask silly questions that can be Googled, you post long, well-informed posts that further the discussion. Newbies, take note.
