Second, the mentality in Chechnya is roughly "we are a part of Russia, but we are not Russia".

Third - Chechens are very clannish ("teip"), which depends on where the family originated. Strong culture means you'd have to understand and deal with those cultural norms, unless you somehow moved far away, but certain responsibilities towards parents and elders would remain.

Fourth - you probably wouldn't be able to marry in as an outsider if you're not well known to the family, even if you were somehow able to meet and date a girl there (they're not open and I wouldn't try it). Kadyrov has created an Islamic state with Islamic values.

Bro I've never claimed to know a lot. That's why I'm here, to learn and increase my knowledge. Yes they don't have slavic genes but they look very slavic indeed. I'm Turkish of Circassian origin and was raised as a muslim. I don't think I'll have big trouble adapting to their culture.

Regarding slav genes, I don't know , they look very slavic. They lived in that area for 1000 years. I'm sure there was some interbreeding, or why would they look slavic?
