I know it sounds far fetched but a good decade or so of a south african type of socialist government would be very good for the US in the long run. Yes those years would be awful, america would get its ass kicked virtually everywhere and lose almost all of its power world wide, the economy would crash and there would be riots on streets almost daily.

However when its all over they will come out like central east european countries today who don't buy into communist bullshit because of what they have been through.

While I'm glad that the Progressive establishment is ripping her to pieces since it will help Trump, it does make me sad to see this happen to her.

Don't worry, the wildfire will start in the next 3 years as IL provides the initial spark for public debt implosion, leading to problems in all the other bubbles the doom porn people love to talk about. The next 5 years is going to be quite interesting, of course, in a bad way --- I'm stressing more particular local entities such as states or counties though, that can't print money. What the feds do regarding these will be quite fascinating.

For some reason, he was sidelined in 2016 after being featured in the convention, maybe he didn't toe the DNC line and didn't genuflect enough to the witch, he would have made a perfect running mate for her.

It's a crowded field, but I would bet it will be Harris or Biden. Kamala will get the nod, with Creepy Joe as the insurance policy in case she falters.

A Biden/Castro ticket would be a threat as much as people on here don't want to admit it but I think they will try and have a mixed ticket. In virtually every poll Biden destroys every other candidate at this point, some of them blame it on name recognition alone but a lot of these democrats have had there names out there quite a bit over the last few years.

Personally if I was thought I had a good chance of becoming the Dem nominee I would sit this one out. Trump will roll over almost all these so called candidates outside of a global financial meltdown happening before the election, which is possible. But why not just sit it out then run in 2024 when the path to the presidency will be way easier.

Being a DA will hurt Harris, a lot of the Dem voters are so far left they don't want any laws enforced. Plus she is from California, California is as blue as they come so they'd be better off choosing someone popular from an important swing state.

I can't see any of these demented Democrats having enough charisma nor popular public appeal, to be able to win on their own merits (even if Trump wasn't a factor).
All they really have is that they're not Trump.
Yet that wasn't enough for Haggard Hillary & she was far more experienced than these other hacks.
Or if it is a male, Trump will be able to let loose all the more on the likes of Beta Beto or Creepy Biden.

A lot of candidates who eventually win were in earlier primary elections. It gives them campaign experience, and helps build national name recongition. If I were a Dem candidate, I'd run for sure this term. The Dem 2024 nominee will probably be someone that took a shot at it this time around.

Harris, Warren, and Booker are seen by Trump and his team as the most formidable foes. Personally my money wouldn't be in on Booker and Warren at this point. Warren had a good chance last election cycle but she didn't strike when the iron was hot and now the fake Indian thing is just going to continue to be an albatross around her neck
