RE: St. Petersburg Data Sheet
New Year always seemed tougher to me in Russia as it's the main holiday and for many people it's family-oriented. There will undoubtedly be parties, but it's not the same as the western world where Christmas tends to take on the family angle and new year is about the parties. In a bigger city like St. Petersburg there are celebrations in the public areas and bigger bars, so that should be the main focus if you've not been before, but don't expect a city-wide street invasion.

RE: St. Petersburg Data Sheet
I just came back from eight days in St. Petersburg as a happy man and deeply impressed. It is a wonderful place. This trip has been one of my favorite journeys ever.

Majestic architecture, world class museums and theaters, the canals, the water – it is all great for long explorative walks. As has been stated before, the women are incredibly beautiful and dress very feminine, often in high heels and nice dresses. What a difference from the Berlin hipster culture it is! In fact, hipster culture, ugly tattoos, degenerate behavior and short haircuts are (still) almost completely absent.

Nevski Prospect, one of the large boulevards/shopping streets, is a day game heaven. I have never experienced such positive responses to direct day game. I didn’t really experience the “Russian minute”. You will have direct, no bullshit conversation. The first impression of a stern exterior soon fades away and reveals a friendly, feminine personality- direct, strong, with a heart. On top, you can have an unlimited supply of tinder matches. I am 35 and the age question was never an issue. Kissed a beautiful 18 year old girl and dated a 24 year old one. Make it clear that you are not interested in giving free English lessons.

Market Place on Newski prospect is a good affordable place to eat. Bonch, Zoom, and Biblioteka are nice coffee shops close by.

You can take a high speed train (Sapsan) to Moscow. The journey takes about four hours, tickets are around 100 EUR.

I found it remarkable that the percentage of people who are kind of crazy is significantly higher than I am used to. A few examples: Several times a day, I saw motorcycles and cars driving with absolutely insane speed through busy streets. I walk into the bathroom of Burger King and see a bare-chested man with wounds all over his body staring in the mirror and talking to himself. And I had one incident at a bar when I was ordering a drink and the guy next to me suddenly pushed me and looked at me like he was about to kill me for no particular reason. Probably he felt like I invaded his space? Short-tempered and drunk? Anyway. Use common sense and don’t be scared. The mass media give a wrong image of Russia.

Back home now, it is sobering to see the difference between Berlin and St. Petersburg in terms of beauty and femininity.

Looking forward to Roosh’s event here in a couple of days.

Chase, it's funny because I just had all of the exact same feelings and thoughts after returning from St. Petersburg back to Berlin less than 2 weeks ago.

It's really hard for me still even after two weeks to want to continue living here after what I experienced in Moscow/ St. P. I keep looking at apartments and thinking to myself, I might just wing it and go for a few months and figure it all out later. The other side does seem greener to me.

I'm going to be there in a month. Looking forward to it. I think I will like it much more than Moscow. Somehow St. P is a "sleeper" city here for Russia.

I will be in SP in a few weeks. Entropy4 suggests getting an apartment on the southern side of the Neva. I am looking for apartments on Airbnb. Airbnb divides Nevsky into South and Upper. Is it better to be on the South side?

I agree. Much better to be on the South side of the Neva. More nightlife and daytime options and a nicer area in my opinion. I stayed near Mayakovskaya and thought it was ideal. Anywhere close to there from the train station up to the Hermitage would be good. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Gents,

Looking to visit in July, I have taken note of the area/neighborhood to stay in, however, looking at airbnb, booking etc. the prices are much more expensive than even here in Barcelona, do you know of any "airbnb" type sites which reflect the real value and not marked up for tourists?

I found in the Kiev thread http://www.dobovo.com/. Which is cheap and from the posts, you can haggle with the renters over price and pay cash on site.

Does a site like this exist for St. Petersburg?

Cheers

I am am not familiar with the prices in Barcelona. However, I consider SP affordable. I have a studio right off Nevsky for 60 dollars in an ideal location.

I plan to do a full write-up at a later point. Few thoughts: Daygame is good but for the experienced player. I have plenty of numbers but with a lot of work put in. Setting up dates is taking time as a lot of girls head to the countryside on weekends.

Nightlife has been a big disappointment. Many of the clubs that were written about on the Forum are closed. There is a big hipster scene, especially at night which is not my thing. Nightlife doesn't get going until 2am, which for me makes it impossible to do daygme and nightgame. The city is beautiful with lots of touristy sites. Pipelining has been a bust. If you are in Russia and looking to get laid in a short time, I suggest Moscow over St. Pete. If looking for a LTR, SP can be a good spot if you have time to invest.

RE: St. Petersburg Data Sheet
Dantes, have you considered "evening game" (i think I invented that term)?

Hangout in the evening (around 6-10pm) timeslot around happening cafes/restaurants, pass a few of them and see where the ratio is good. Grab a seat at a cafe with your tablet pretending that you're doing work, just make sure that seat is close to some girls and then just approach. Great thing is that you can accurately gauge a girls interest as you're sitting next to her for extended period of time and can observe IOI's. If it fails in one cafe, finish your coffee/beer, and go to the next one.

I had a nice date with a near-model look-alike last year in Minsk whom I approached near a cafe and just asked for a cigarette. Of course as always nothing really happened as I ran out of time BUT I feel like this method might be more successful than day-game or night-game for us older gents on time restrictions.

RE: St. Petersburg Data Sheet
Just came back from a trip to St. Petersburg. Piter as they call it.
Been there for 2 full days for other reasons than to game girls. So only couple of hours free. Did do few hours of daygame 10 approaches all together and went on 2 tinder dates and ended up banging one 8 looking girl. Sacrificed a lot of hours of sleep for this.
I have collected a lot of good leads now I am actually looking forward to come back. Some leads are sending nudes which keeps me motivated.

My observations:

Busy nightlife. Perfect city for a gutter game.

Impressive quality. Only few places in the world are better, but if you like tall blondes that might be your number one choice.

Bridges opening during the night and logistics to do with it.
The girl that I banged was giving me an epic LMR resisting me going to her place or her going to mine. But as the night progressed bridges closed and she was stuck on my side. I said as a gentleman I have to offer you a place to stay and that I have 2 single beds in my hotel room. She agreed. Never split the beds. No LMR in the room. I think it was her plan as much as mine. She needed a good excuse to bang so quickly.

Tinder in Russia seemed busy and got me good reply, number close and followup rate.

General vibe of the city is pleasant.

Girls are smart. Even when willing to bang they will still play mind games on you. So there will be LMR. One thing I have learned this trip never give up, keep pushing. And when you feel there is no chance left take a leap and you might get the bang.

Eye contact, IOIs, smiles. I got a lot of those. Really helps your daygame.

No harsh blowouts. The worst thing I had was a girl telling me I don't meet guys and running away. Girls normally stop when you open them.

You'll need a prescription from a Russian doctor.

Best time for Russia and EE is April-June and September-November because the weather is good and students haven't left town for the summer.

Having said that, I also like St. Petersburg in late June/early July during the White Nights.

I stayed on Vosstaniya in an Airbnb, but anywhere around Nevsky Prospekt between Vosstaniya and the embankment is good. Stay away from the suburbs.

^ Best to visit yourself though, like any other place.

Traffic cameras also just popped in my head. Not sure if St Petersburg has them though, nor if you can see the girls well with them.

RE: St. Petersburg Data Sheet
been there like 5 years ago for few days. didn't really see much as i felt the city was way too spread out and streets very wide. I did see some hotties on the streets wearing heels while driving by and also hotties in malls (i remember there was a big mall near the rail way station to Moscow), but as didn't go out much during the night wasn't able to see the talent during the night. I think the place definitely has great potential, but is somehow a bit remote (kinda as far north as you can go), and you kinda need to know the right places where the hotties are as the city is huge (there were like 5 huge islands). Russians have a great personality and are surprisingly very outgoing, contrary to what people think of people of these cold climes.

I have free time on April, so I am planning to spend 15 days with possibility to extend the trip if I like the city. Looking at the weather it's says that April will be 2-6°, so a little bit cold, June seems to be better. But like you said, they are not on vacation, so I think it's the time to go.

RE: St. Petersburg Data Sheet
Idea of an average Friday in St. Petersburg for me: (skip to second half for the good parts)
Wake up at 8pm, because the bars are open so late that my sleep cycle is nuts now.

Go to super market, meet 2 stunners (19, petite, my exact type). Instagram close cause couldn't throw out a convincing enough reason to bounce 2 of them.

They text: let's go watch the Dvortsoviy bridge go up. Ok cool. Met up with them at 2:30 am. Hitting it off reasonably well, having them help me improve my Russian pronunciation. They weren't really feeling the tingle down under though Sad They're like hey my friends are gonna join us. Turns out to be 2 dudes. They were polite and all but all just started rambling in russian and I was left with my junk in my hands. Decided to gracefully exit and wait for another day with better logistics.

By now it's 4am. About perfect time to go to bars in Russia. Before 3am girls all seem to be too shy/sober and I get an unreasonable amount of instant blowouts. Almost impossible to get blown out after 3:30am though. Hit up Dumskaya street. Every bar only seems to have about 5-10 girls. Not super impressive but workable for sure. Girls are hot and definitely aren't afraid to drink. Run a few warmup sets.

NOW THINGS START GETTING INTERESTING…
I ran into one of those scams like i read about here!
Met two girls at the bar (one late 30s & a missing tooth, but her friend who didn't speak english was cute), as soon as i say hi they're like hey this bar sucks, let's go somewhere else. We all hop in a cab and they take me to a completely dead karaoke bar and they're like oh $20 entrance and all this shit. It's funny once i said firmly said no, they're like you know what… uh…. You friends here just say they will pay for your entrance fee. Clear the girls were in on it, everyone recognized them. So I say nahhhhhhhhhhh. FYI the address of the bar was Stremyannaya ul., 11 so if girls wanna take you there, just shake your dick at them and say nice try.

Uber back to dumskaya. Its 6am now so everything is closing. Didn't see any easy sets on the street but saw a crowd around Central Station. I think it's the only afterhours club there. It's gayer than a rainbow at the Abbey. Almost naked dudes on stage and lots of dark corners where you don't even want to know what's happening. But I saw several girls there who had been at the other clubs. They only accept passport as ID (saw some ppl turned down just trying use use card ID), but my tattered photocopy did the trick (probably only the 2nd time I've been IDed in russia/ukraine.

Met a girl on staircase with full buying temperature. Ended up in a near by bathroom. Make out. Was getting bored so tried pulling to dance floor several times. No go…. so when In doubt, whip it out. My friends back in LA have this thing where they jizz on the girl's dress and take pics, so I'm like fuck it I wanna try this haha. I'd been in a dry spell so hey, it was still kind of fun to get jerked off in a bathroom. During this i keep getting bumped into…
Literally right next to me a guy is getting a bj… from another dude. Tried getting out my phone to document the ridiculousness of it all, but I was too slow.
Her friends find us in the bathroom, and we walk around the bar. She was showing the jizz to her friends lol and they were cool with it. It seems almost impossible to get cock blocked here! Wasn't able to pull her, but whatever, pretty funny story cause 30 sec prior i walked by that bathroom and thought damn that's an awesome pull location. I used "the secret" lol
