Bar is called SID on Lomonosova 16. Ultra expensive drinks and they will try to drug you (after 1 sip of my whisky I felt dizzy and got the fuck out of here).

There are a lot of these shit in Russia.

They're very active on Tinder as well. They always want to meet you at some bar at very late hours but when you get a lot of messages from a lot of girls and they all want to meet at that specific bar, you gotta wake up.

I saved one of my Italian friend yesterday. He was actually my friend's friend. Our common friend said my friend is in St Petersburg, can you help him out? So, I spoke with him.

He got a message from a cute girl on tinder and asked him to meet her at some bar around like 11:30 pm. He was on his way when he got in touch with me via whatsapp, I told him to stay away and it's a scam. So, he didn't go. He texted me this morning that 2 other girls sent him a message on Tinder and asked him to meet them at same specific bar that other girl did last night.

I dont know why but these scammer girls have a thing for "karaoke" places. I heard some stories of real players and most of them were invited for karaoke bars. Maybe because of the technicality of it, which means you pay to get in, you play to sing (or for your company to sing) , pay to drink, pay pay pay
If it is a very small place, it's already a red flag IMO. If it is a very small place and is empty when you come with your lady, hmm double red flag. And so on

I'm on a two month unplanned in Europe. I'd like to go through St. P. but don't have a Visa - how much of a hurtle is it to get a travel Visa at an embassy (likely London). I'm Canadian.

I have a girl lined up there who's willing to act as a host for visa requirements and meet me at the airport. She wants me to tag along for a trip to Georgia later.

Worth the trouble? Or would I be better served going somewhere visa free (suggestions?).

For the record I am a 26, fit white guy with an above average budget.

Easy as anything, just make sure you have an invite and then get your biometrics done, not a lot too it from my recollection, much easier than a US visa.

So if I'm in London all I have to do is show up at the consulate with my passport? I don't have a physical address in Europe for them to send an invite too, but I wonder if it can be done electronically?

If you don't have residency, it may be harder as I think you're only able to apply in countries you have residency, not visiting although I'm not 100%, you'd be best off contacting the embassy and asking.
