It took me just over 2 months to get my flag after moving to Kiev last year.

She spoke almost no English, so I ended up dating her and it was a great accelerator for improving my Russian.

I wasn't on a bang mission, so I had other things I had to do, but it was frustrating at the beginning seeing all the talent and not getting any action.

The thing with Ukraine is that it seems there's expectations that it'll be as easy as a place like Colombia.

It's simply not true. Better way to look at it is this:

In Colombia, girls will fuck you because you're a foreigner.
In Ukraine, girls will GO OUT with you because you're a foreigner. No more. It makes GETTING a date a bit easier (sometimes), but it sure as hell doesn't mean they're going to bang you just because you've got a Western passport.

Shame that Kiev isn't a good destination for quick bangs. I was thinking of hitting the city up during the holidays, maybe next summer when it isn't cold. I'd probably stay for less than a week. Do you think it had anything to do with your age? I'm in my 20s, so I would assume they would put out faster.

Actually I'm running into a lot of Russian and EE girls recently in China, so I may just get my first Slavic flag here.

Thanks for your honest report Schlep. The problem is that you were misled (just like me) into thinking Kiev/Ukraine was going to be easy.

Maybe not necessarily easy, but reasonable. The truth of course is very different. I found Kiev harder to game than anywhere else I've been (this includes Toronto!).

From what I've seen, the key to doing well in Kiev is being there long term, or having some sort of insane drive where all you do is hunt girls all day long. Since I wasn't there with either, I also struggled.

Dating aside, I made sure to enjoy the place though. Sounds like you did too, which is great.

I was lucky to get my flag near the end, but it was due to coincidence. If there's something I can recommend, it's to day game heavily when arriving in a new place. The last two countries I've been in, my flags came from day game and not Tinder.

You'll be stronger next time. Trust that this experience has made you better, because it has.

Another note, is that I think Kharkov/Eastern Ukraine is for high energy people, the Soviet stress and mind games are not meant for everyone, and going out is necessary since it is worth to and there is not many targets during daytime on weekdays, except around University and the metro station. If im talking with my friends here i tell them ukraine is easy. Compared to lebanon its very easy.

Girls are open here but the subset that engages in random hookups/ons/ sex for fun is limited.

And online is a wasteland.

Ukraine is not is easy and I also struggled on my first trip back almost 5 years ago.
You dealing with a dating culture not quick hook ups which takes time but that said ONS are still possible given the right game and circumstances.

The key for me to pipeline hard before each trip. Last month I had 8 mini coffee dates ready to go I don't use any of traditional online app's like Mamba, Tinder, etc as I'm aiming meet a more regular type of girl that is educated. This is especially important for first timers or with limited Russian skills. I also have bit of social circle built up too... meaning there is chance that girl with a BF has a single friend.. hell I have times where girls send me pic's of there single friends knowing I'm coming back.

Right now I'm juggling 2-3 girls which is enough for me.

I never say Ukraine is easy to anyone. Because I got tricked into thinking that it was, and it was only showing up and girls would sit on my lap, or it was just approaching, talk and bed. I had a rude awakening over there, I was in Czech Republic and Lithuania before in EE and had success in both... But there was something about Ukraine that made me dig deeper and stay around. I took 2 guys with me to Ukraine, and 2 other guys went there asking me for advice. I always told them it was not a walk in the park, and all of them dismissed my advice thinking I was being pessimistic or had no game...the results where that they all failed, one that went with me would still hamsterize saying that UA girls would only appreciate my beauty and not his))) it was not, it is just a question of attitude and understanding..most if not all people think that UA is a walk in the pussy paradise park. It is not. Of course it is easier than our Mediterranean countries, and girls in general are nicer and friendlier, otherwise why would we go there for? Not to bust on the parade but let's be realistic. For every guy who says country XYZ is very easy we have to look at their background. Some guys have very good game everywhere they go, so if they go to a non-western country it immediately becomes a pussy paradise to them. For example, looking at Vinny's comment above and previous posts we see that he speaks fluent Russian, is very tall (6-3'), says he is above average in looks, has great Instagram game with thousands of followers and I assume above average income since he can travel so frequently.
I always like to judge a country instead based on an average "John Does" experience, not a member who is probably in the top 5% of all guys in the world in terms of seduction. So, give me a forum guy who has only been to a couple countries, has average looks, average game, and struggles financially AND THEN if he gives me a positive report on a country then my ears will perk up just a bit. BUT to get a good sample same needs to be said by dozens of guys of similar background.

I think people overstate the importance of Russian some what, nobody can deny it's a big advantage, but the girls who don't speak English are often the 9+'s , which are very hard to obtain, and the village skanks which are not appealing. It is nice to be able coerce a girl into bed using your brain sometimes though.

If I had to think of guys I met in Ukraine that have done well with the ladies, many of them barely spoke a lick of the lingo.

I would say appearance and confidence is more useful, you don't have to be particularly handsome but you should dress well and be fearlessly confident.
