If you have these thoughts often, you need to work towards figuring out what your issues are, what is causing it, and work toward a plan to get it resolved. One day may be the last day you just "think about it".

What if you had CTE from some event or sport you used to play? Well, that would require a different approach than if you were to say, abused alcohol and drugs alot in the past.

You know yourself and your background better than anyone. Start working on resolving it. You can always send me PMs like others have. Even if I cannot help you much, I can always point you in the right direction or find someone who can.

I had a good friend die last month.

He overdosed on Coke, he was smoking so much of it that I am sure he had some suicidal thoughts.

Sad really, he had a lot going for him.

In my opinion, men are committing suicide because:

• They were raised by their moms, by female teachers, by Hollywood movies that portray a world that does not exist. They were lied to all their lives. In their everyday lives, they have contact with a brutal reality very different from the one they were conditioned to expect. If you expect life to be hard and unfair, then hardship and injustice does not bother you as much. If you expect women to be disloyal, then your experiences with women won't upset you all that much. If you expect life to be easy, to realize your dreams, to meet your "other half" and live in a Disney fantasy, then you will extremely disappointed.
• Men need affection. The problem is that they were conditioned by women to seek and expect affection from women. This is all wrong. Women are a burden, not a 2nd mommy. Affection comes from male buddies, from the gang. No homo!

• Keeping up with the Joneses, all 7+ billion of them. The globalized economy means that no one is safe. If you are cheap labor, then there is always a Third World country with a more pliable, more obedient and more desperate workforce. If you work a factory job, you are nearly obsolete due to advances in automation. If you work a lowly white collar job, you are at risk of being replaced by an AI. Even doctors and lawyers are at risk now. Job insecurity, lack of stability, social atomization all lead to mental health problems. Unfortunately, there is tremendous stigma pertaining to mental health. If you do not exercise, your health deteriorates. If you exercise, you become healthier. It is accepted that physical health varies over time. However, if your mental health deteriorates due to bad habits, then you will be judged when you are at your worst, hitting rock bottom. People will never forget.
• Social media. Everyone else's life is perfect, except yours. You are a loser. You do not deserve anything good in life. Just off yourself. That is the perception that social media creates. Men should avoid social media. Social interactions that do not take place on a face to face basis are not healthy. Seeking social validation from people one barely knows or does not even know is for broads and faggots.
• Women work and have their own money. If you do not make more than they do, you are mostly useless to them. If you are sexy, they may want to use you as a walking vibrator. Unless you have an alpha personality and can dominate women psychologically, you are not worth much to a woman. Unfortunately, too many men have been pussified to the point where they believe that dominating women is evil and icky. The Bible taught men to be dominant and women to be submissive. Our ancestors were not stupid. They knew that women needed to be controlled, otherwise hell would be unleashed. When men find their balls and behave like men, things will improve. Many men do not want to become men.

I was one of these guys up until not too long ago, and I think that if I hadn't discovered game, I would have likely offed myself sometime in my mid-thirties.

Guys, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this thread. A few of these posts got me misty-eyed because, for so long, nobody identified with what I was feeling and I had to shut the fuck up in order to maintain my (tenuous) friendships.

The occasional one-night stand achieved nothing with me - I was somewhat regularly getting chicks, but I had NO idea how I was doing it. It almost made me even more depressed and isolated. I'd scare off a chick with how I acted on a date on Monday, but I'd then say "fuck it" and drunkenly do the EXACT same thing with another girl on Friday and end up screwing her for a solid month.

I recently pulled myself out of my funk after living abroad for two semesters...I now have a goal to achieve, and something to live for. I shudder to think, though, of what would have become of me if I hadn't broken out of the Matrix for that brief period of time.

I understand that not being consistently good at bagging chicks doesn't seem like the biggest problem in the world at first glance, especially to people from a few generations ago - my grandparents and bitter blue-pilled father were stumped as to how to deal with me during high school and early college, as counseling wasn't helping me.

In today's society, though? As said earlier in the thread, you're the coolest guy ever if you're in the top 10 percent, and you're a loser if you're in the bottom 90 percent. If you're in the bottom 90 percent and manage to become at least somewhat successful with girls, you might even get called a criminal or a sexual predator.

A roommate of mine (who was a supposed friend, by the way) once called me a rapist TO MY FACE when I told him an anecdote about how I devilishly seduced a girl who repeatedly said "we're not fucking tonight" into sex. He'd then try to give me blue-pill dating advice when he hadn't gotten laid in three years, and wave me away when I talked about alphas in our social circle who had done worse than I had. Sometimes he'd actually (I'm serious here) tell me to start banging guys to get more confident with women.

I had friends (at least on paper), was getting laid at least once a month, and partied for half of the week. Yet I felt completely alone and wondered why everyone was telling me that I was just being a whiny douchebag.

It's been a struggle since getting back home, but this positive attitude is hear to stay and will be a great way to close out my 20s (I turn 30 in July). It's really a wonder what a difference purpose makes. To get my fiscal house in order, I had to restart at a job I'd quit a few years prior because I'd hated it, and decided to take a nine-month hiatus from dating (for financial and personal reasons) before dipping back into it. This would have been torture for me at 24.

(I actually got too used to it, though. When a buddy brought me out the other day, I actually had to ask him "so, how is it that you get a cute chick to dance with you again?")

Oh, Trump winning didn't hurt either. I doubt it was a coincidence that the beginning of Obama's second term (2013-2014, when the nationwide SJW rhetoric got particularly bad) was one of the low points of college for me.

Men kill themselves when they are in a role which doesn't serve them and can't escape from it.

I assume that the men who call suicidals "cowards" were never faced with that decision.

One of the most successful man I know almost killed himself. He miraculously survived. He has slept with 1000s of women, adopted children and was financially successful.

But in his fifties, he realized that all he ever wanted was to be the head of a household with 8+ kids. And then he snapped.

You can bang all the hoes you want, live anywhere you want and possess extraordinary wealth. And still feel desperate, guilty and sick of the life you are living.

A cautionary tale, guys.
