Intelligent might not be the right word. Good conversationalists might be a better way to say it. You know, someone who understands your jokes, even if they're subtle, understands what you're talking about and can have a conversation without saying obviously stupid things. The opposite is a girl who answers with few words or doesn't know how to speak English well.

I've gone on dates with high IQ women too, college professors, successful professionals in hard sciences. And most of them are stiff and poor conversationalists.

I probably agree with you to a large extent, till recently I always had the same belief. However, I am currently seeing a girl who is very high IQ and she is literally my best friend at the moment. We can talk for hours and hours non stop, finally I have met a woman who I can have interesting conversations as the ones I have with my male friends.

I reckon that this type of woman is extremely rare but they can be found.

I am saying many guys delude themselves into thinking the chicks they talk to are very interesting when in reality it is often times their dick talking for them. Which is fine and natural it is how most couples pair-bond. I don't think overselling how interesting women are is a good move, it sets the bar for them even lower than it is due to white knights eating up every word and giggle from chicks.

It is like that meme with the extremely good looking actor with the statement "Just go up to a girl say hi, works everytime." Yeah like that sort of guy can get away with that, chicks can get away with a horrifically low bar in conversation.

I think it is up to men to demand more by not having such a low standard of what they will tolerate. Girls I believe are very capable of being deep, meaningful, and articulate. They just don't need to because men put up with low quality conversation to get sex and be in relationships.

The kicker is women aren't introspective enough to know that if a guy goes on a date and sleeps with them then never calls them that they may need to up their conversation game. They think it is their looks, sex was bad, guy is in a relationship and having her on the side... anything other than her personality needs to upgrade. Anglo girls especially think they personality is a bright shining unique star and anything but that needs to change.

The real solution is to not have sex with these girls and cut dates short at the 30 minute mark once you know she is a dud.

Guys will never do this as almost every man on the planet will go through a 2 or 3 hour date with a boring girl to bang her once. This extends this problem into eternity.

And the same if you flip the script - If you gave something really wise to a hot girl to read, you would pay much less attention to it.

One tends to talk about different things with men and women, both have different conversational appeals. (Perhaps it is part of what you said you about women just being sexy and feminine).

Either way, a lot of the manosphere tends to look down on having female friends or making conversation with someone you're not going to fuck - I enjoy having female company around sometimes. Also love women who can initiate and carry on good conversation (doesn't have to be about quantum mechanics or philosophy or whatever - in fact, its almost always better if its about a non intellectual subject, especially people).

These are your average hardworking Americans who are sick of being told what to do by wealthy people who view their homes as nothing more than flyover country.

Being emotional or embracing "moods"

Not histrionic or drama emotions but having a range of emotions that I can work with. Everyone wants to be stoic and objective but I just can't do it. I adopted the manospheres advice about being aloof, uninvested, and not letting emotions rule me but it just hasnt worked. I can remain unaffected and lock my shit down but I believe embracing your emotions is a key in life.

This isn't to say I let my emotions rule me but more I acknowledge them and ride the wave. I'm better with momentum than I am with leverage. Yeah, it causes hick ups in my game and other areas of life but I'm learning to meld the two perspectives together.

Do I want drama? No. Do I want to be socially powerful enough to transfer feelings to those around me? You fucking bet your ass I do.

Well, i think it has more to do with making the girl feel a range of emotions and less to do with being some super expressive guy. You could have the personality of a brick wall, but a girl will keep coming back if you can make her feel a wider range of emotions than some normal dude.
