I've written about my manosphere gripe before. I don't buy the "All women are hypergamous all the time" tripe that Rollo Tomassi and Athol Kay obsess over. I think the saying is "Hypergamy doesn't lie." I beg to differ,

The reason for my disagreement is that I've lived longer than these guys and what I've seen in the real world doesn't square with this theory.

I've seen many a woman stand by her man through all sort of crap. And these were women who had options. All sorts of people I knew from high school married under a myriad of circumstances and stayed together.

Life with women doesn't mean having to spend 24/7 "gaming your wife" (an actual expression). What kind of a life is that? Spending every spare minute playing psychological games to keep women from finding someone better -- as if women will immediately dump you for the nearest brute the second you catch a cold or lose your job.

All of this theory doesn't take into account HUMAN NATURE. The fact is people get attached because they're human. And when people spend decades together those bonds grow.

I'm not saying the theory is incorrect. It's definitely based on truth. Women do, in fact, want better. But so do men. So do PEOPLE. Women aren't the only humans to "trade-up." Ask Donald Trump. Hell, you could have asked me at 19.

But for some people bonds are lifelong -- regardless of "hypergamy" popping up from behind every window as soon as the man's head is turned in the opposite direction.

Hence, you get men who aged well but stay married to women even though those women put on some pounds. And you get nice-looking women who stick with losers. I know MANY. I worked with some of them and guys tried every trick in the book to get them to cheat and they wouldn't.

People get attached. It's like your favorite band from high school. You know they're cheesy but you still love 'em anyway, never miss a concert, and still get the new CD when it comes out.

Again, I'll say what I always say: "All women are hypergamous" is the manosphere's version of the feminist's "All men are rapists." Both might make sense on paper, depending on your disposition. But we don't live on paper. As humans we should live by observing the real world around us, not by theories.

I am down with girls who have a smart mouth and are snarky/sarcastic cunts, as long as they are the sweet-as-pie type behind closed doors. My favorite relationships were with girls who were smart and had somewhat abrasive personalities.

Girls who are ultra nice and sweet all the time weird me out a little because I'm kind a gruff asshole and I feel like the contrast is too much. I like a girl that can kinda hang a little bit with my demeanor. I think a lot of this may be my programming but whatever.

Most of the manosphere has a negative outlook on easy, slutty girls and openly shame the behavior on paper, but also put out endless content on how to screen for them and get with them thus promoting the behavior in reality. I think thats hypocritical.

Overall, I like women in the 27-34 age range and think they are underrated. A lot of guys in the manosphere think they are career chasing, carousel riding sluts, that have hit the wall, looking to get married and divorce rape a man.

Granted there are some of those women out there. But I like women in this age range because they are more mature, less likely to waste your time, more realistic standards, less insecurity about sex and just easier to date. A lot of younger girls are very flaky, listen to their friends too much, immature, play games, insecure about sex and have no life experience.

A lot of manosphere guys say that women 27-34 have a lot of baggage and hit the wall. Some of them have...so just don't date those types. There are plenty of in shape 27-34 year olds that have minimal baggage if you live in a major city.

The only downside about 27-34 women I can think of is that they are more pushy about marriage. But when they start making ultimatums, just leave.

My best supervisors have been female. They were middle-aged, 45-55 age range, and had been with their organizations for a long time.

I also believe that they understood and could see who worked and who didn't work. They favored people who were smart and worked hard.

I've worked under enough men over the years. Most of them simply favored the schmoozers and the people who were "yes men" and sucked up to them.

I'm pushing 40 and most of the women I've laid have been in that demographic.

I don't think you'll ever meet a truly "red pill" woman, but it's been my experience that never-married or recently single/divorced women in that age group, who don't wind up bitter and jaded, or tedious serial daters chronically husband-hunting, are some of the most what you might say..."aware of the nature of the game" girls you're likely to come across. And that's not necessarily bad.

And there are some damn fine late 20s girls around here. The amount of effort it takes for an older guy to overcome the flakiness, indecisiveness, and just general childishness of a 22 year old interacting with a guy ~15 years older often seems a poor investment when a girl just 5 years older that looks 95% as good requires 20% of the effort, and considers the age gap a non-issue (or even a perk.)

This is insightful, I have experienced some of the same. The flip side is you got very very lucky. Most women in positions of power are incompetent, no getting around it. I had one female boss that was merit-based. Handfuls of incompetent female coworkers and higher ups though.

I don't understand the obsession here about dating girls who are below 21. I like that I can't be bothered to do daygame in the West where statistically a daygame newbie has to approach 100+ women to get laid even once. I'd rather put this energy in finding a higher paid job or working on my side hustles to achieve my goal of being able to live wherever I want and not have a boss. As long as you get laid (or even if you don't), it's nobody else's business whether or not you go out there and cold approach.

I like that I've spent all my career in an office environment even though many of my colleagues, including management, are women. While I would prefer to be able to speak frankly with other men at work, I'm not going to do back breaking manual labor to achieve that. Unlike some guys who say that working in trades is always better for men than office work, I have actually done a bit of manual work in the past and know very well that I'd rather sit in an air conditioned office and keep my mouth shut while the paychecks keep coming.

I like to be able to not jump to conclusions about a man's place in the "alpha-beta" hierarchy just from looking at his picture or a picture of his not-so-hot girlfriend posted on the forum. If somebody judges a person just by looking at their photos, it tells me more about the one who passes quick judgement than about the person being judged.

Tattoos. There's something nasty about banging a tattooed slut and I enjoy that. It's more animalistic. Tattoos don't look good up close though and for every woman that I've dated for a longer time that has tattoos, I wish she didn't have them. Pulling a tattooed bar slut though - gimme.

American women. They have curvy bodies and the ones that I meet are usually interesting. Some of the ones that are not, at least know how to be good sluts. Maybe there's some exotic factor here, since I'm not American. The last few Brazilian and Latin American girls that I met were just really dumb. Eastern European girls that I meet are usually corporate slaves and boring. Foreign women in foreign countries are a whole different thing though.

Intelligent women. I like to have conversations. I don't subscribe to the notion that intellectual conversations are for your male buddies and women are for braindead chit chat. If she's stupid, I might bang her once or twice at most and then I'm done. Don't confuse intelligent with "strong and independent" or "well educated" though.

I am guessing testosterone in the presence of a girl you want to bang makes her 5x more interesting than if it was a dude sitting across saying the same thing a chick said off a script.

I have gone on plenty of dates with some pretty high IQ girls that have substantial academic/career achievement in a broad range of fields (education, medicine, business, engineering, entertainment, sciences). Even then maybe one or two that wanted to have a high level conversation about the world or life often having no real answers to why they have their views, and absolutely little to no foresight about how events will shape the future.
