He struck me as a guy who just discovered this corner of the internet and instantly felt a sense of belonging & direction he's been lacking. A whole new world opened up to him and all he wanted to do is test the waters, discover it's mysteries and structure some sort of belief system around it ... thus all the questions.

Most of his thread actually asked about relevant & interesting topics. And he was always polite, respectful and eager to learn. Even when we were making fun of him he'd take it lightly or even apologize.

Maybe he wasn't adding value directly in the form of Datasheets or insight but he certainly has inspired intelligent discourse and posts from experienced posters which would not have been if he never started those threads.

Yeah I think the ban was a bit excessive. A 50% warning at least for making another question thread would have been a more fitting punishment. Each of his threads certainly provoked a good discussion.

Though he can rest well knowing he's a proper legend now.
