Girlfriend or not, what one persons opinion is shit test or not is out of your control, you can however decide how you frame her and other people's behaviour and then this sort of thinking becomes a non issue.

What you do depends on what your woman would do in this situation. If you make comments about women on TV being attractive and your woman gets pissed, you can rest assured she's disrespecting you. This is most definitely a shit test and a very serious one at that.

There's a couple of things here that give me pause though:

-Behavior like this doesn't come out of nowhere, either she's done this or similar things to you before or there was an event that triggered this bad behavior.
1. There was probably red flags that weren't picked up during the beginning of the relationship. Most guys on the forum are guilty of ignoring the red flags because the pussy is THAT good, at least early on.
2. Did you and her recently have a discussion that she got butt hurt over. A bruised ego from a GF can cause her to do reckless things.

-How often do you joke around and make sarcastic comments with her? Maybe she thought that it was acceptable based on how you interact with her and your friends.

-Beige Philip says your bitch is a reflection of you. Those people that were present now think you cannot control her or at the very least cannot command a certain level of respect from her. This needs to change regardless if you stay with her or move on to the next girl. Western women have amped up hamsters and will shit test more often just as a matter of course.
Everyone had great responses to her comment but wouldn't it be better if she never thought to make it?
Whether it comes from fear or respect or a mix of both, no woman should feel so emboldened to openly challenge your manhood in front of people. A clear sign of disrespect.

-There are many ways to "get even" with her.

1. Making comments about every attractive girl you see.
2. Ghosting on her for a few days, then pretend like nothing happened.
3. Fuck her friend(s) This is completely dependent on skill and whether or not her friends think you're a loser.
4. Fuck her really roughly to re-establish dominance. This may backfire on you because its like she's being rewarded for bad behavior. Tread carefully.
5. Tell her you're gonna do you're own thing for a while. She'll try to contact you and try to figure out whats wrong etc..
Dodge her for a bit and just start dating other girls. When she asks why simply tell her you thought she wanted to date that guy off the tv. You didn't want to get in her way.


(Some people reading this may think I'm taking this too seriously. Fine. What happens to the OP if this was his wife instead and this was just one in a series of shit tests that he was failing. What happens if she cucks him and gets knocked up by another guy. He ends up paying for a kid that isn't his for 18 years because she doesn't respect him.)

It matters very much if she made that comment in private with just you two watching television, or in a public setting such as with the social group as you described. In this case it was with the group and that is major disrespect. A girl should never be comfortable enough with you to say anything to humiliate you or put you on the spot.

If you know you're not going to marry her, then no harm done. Fuck, eat, sleep, rinse and repeat. Until you find the one.

If you are planning on marrying her then you need to set your foot down and have a stern conversation with her. Say you didn't appreciate what she did. Call her out on it. And if she pretends that what she did was completely innocent, or tries to play it off as goofy, next her.

This may seem like an overkill but if it irked you now, chances are she will likely do it again in the future in a much worse way. Life is too short to live by someone else's rules.

You can shut it down by agreeing and amplifying in that situation, but I think that sort of thing is better for when you're solo, becuase A&A can look sort of unnecessarily dickish if it's in a room with her friends.

I think this is a tricky analysis which would, in a perfect world, require more information about this girl. This could easily be a very disrespectful and self-serving statement for her to make, done in a conscious manner, to demean you. It could also be an observation or comment she routinely makes with her girlfriends (and that context isn't objectionable, as we men do it far more than the women do). It could be she forgot her setting or was used to being more dominant over other men. I don't think that this being a one or two time occurrence is a deal-breaker by any means, but if it keeps happening its a problem.

Without a doubt, as a species, we look for, act on, and project power. Some societies, very few but some, are actually matriarchal rather than patriarchal. While not the norm by any means, this shows us that women are willing and capable of exerting dominance, and in individual relationships we see this all the time. Maybe she is used to this approach in her dating/relationship history. Whether it is a problem or not depends on whether this practice is simple power dynamics of instinct, or a feminist agenda. If it is the former, clearly establishing your firm male dominance may be enough to show her the foul. Almost all girls love firm strength and leadership, and muscular build isn't necessary. If the latter, the feminist agenda is her motivation, dump her without delay. That can't be corrected, and rejecting her for that agenda will do more to teach a lesson of the stupidity of feminism than any power-projection or lecture.

This reminds me of a few similar shit tests my girls have pulled on me in group settings. I handled most of them terribly but learned a lot from them. It's always hard when that happens, especially if the friends are hers, because you know they'll definitely be on her side. I think you played it right. I find it best to ignore and deal with it later on, because I'm not a very confrontational guy. Go dark, then act like nothing happened.

Another option is to completely ghost her the rest of the night and start gaming one of the other single girls there. Flirt obviously and when she brings it up later on, just tell her she's being an idiot and you're just making friends. You're letting her know you can still catch fish. The fact you have a girlfriend actually makes gaming other girls there easier, because it brings their shields down and you're already preselected.

Another good move if you're having a shit time anyway is to just leave. Don't be butt hurt, just pull out your phone and be like "shit, I actually have to go, something's up. Say bye to everyone like it's all cool and when she asks why you're leaving just ignore her or brush it off. "Guy stuff. Don't worry about it."
