Speaking of Iran, the presidential election is a month away.

And guess who just signed up to run ? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

It's quite a big deal because Supreme Leader specifically asked him not to run a few months ago as it'll divide the country and is against the benefit of the regime, but he did it anyways. He's been very rebellious lately and heavily mocked and criticized the Supreme Leader in a rally a few weeks ago ( "One man who thinks he knows better than 80 million people."

Whether he will get passed by the "Security Council" to actually participate in election is another story....but Ahmadinejad as president in current geo-political climate...well, that'd be unpredictable.

Speaking of politics, my beta blue pilled friends are praying for a Trump impeachment, nothing new here it gets old after a while. But I just learned to tune it out.

I also have another blue-pilled friend who thinks everything went wrong when Bush Jr got elected, but American politics has been screwed up for the last 50 years. I told him he was wearing nostalgia goggles and he got defensive about it. People really don't read history books, just memes and we're going to be forced to repeat the past over and over again.

Looks south of the border to me.

When you grow up in a culture that venerates death, see decapitated cartel victims in the streets, have countless girls disappear in shallow cartel graves, then pimping out your kids (or someone's kidnapped kids) is seriously not much of a big deal.
