Well this is a perfect example of why I said I could not find a good photo of them online

But in the meantime I also found out why :
They stopped making them last year, so all the photos you can find are from the color combinations which didn't sell and are left online sold with a heavy discount.

Girls don't care about your legs (with clothes on), but if you have #thiccthighs then athletic fit tapered jeans are your friend. Will be wider in the upper leg/glut area and taper down past the knee.

If you have any decent mass around your thighs (like most decent skiers) jeans are really difficult to find. I couldn’t get one of my thighs in both legs of most modern jeans.

That said I found some decent ones at next in the uk and some of the xl slim fit stuff in h&m fits.

You just have to try loads on and when you find something that fits/works, buy two pairs

True, I pretty much only buy stretch jeans, nonstretch are always either too tight and rip or too baggy.

Anyway sorry I wasnt clear, but what else besides the obvious answer jeans? Anyone rocking chinos, linen pants, or whatever? What colors/brands? I've read Bonobos and Brooks Brothers make decent pants (dont get me started on BBs shirts again though). Ordered a pair from both to try them out. I want to start banging more upscale chicks, but still want to keep a bit of edge to my look.

Get some 7 inch inseam shorts. Most brands are carrying these days. Short enough to show the goods, but not short enough to look like a homo.

Better pointed down than do an uptuck. Seriously though, I'm 6'1, 9 inches is the shortest I've ever gone on shorts, that's a couple inches above my knees. . . Still not sure how I feel about that length. 10-11 inches is more comfortable. Anyway, Dalaran helped me out with advice for how to rock some pimp white pants, that's going to be the move this summer.

Sorry, missed your original point, I’ve have some success with the sort of dark blue cotton slim fit chinos they sell in h&m. I tend to keep my legs colors muted to navy or black. The size of my legs make bright color look stupid

Anyone on here make their own clothes? I just copped a fur and shearling jacket and was curious how much work and cost it would have been if I made it myself instead of buying it. I started looking up some youtube videos on making clothes.

Spending 3k on a suit makes a whole lot more sense after watching this video:

@Cap: It's doable but it's gonna be more a "I did this myself"' project than having a nice jacket.

Even professional tailors with 20+ years of experience can't get clothes right the first time. Mine has 10+ years and trained in Saville Row and he still told me to come in for 2 try-ins, which is about the min for any tailor clothes. The bigger the size, and the more complicated the material (leather and fur being the hardest), the more you have to leave room for errors.

So I would say unless you have the gift for this, it's rather a waste of time unless you just want the experience.

Always leave it to the pros unless you are one.

I'm looking into making small adjustments to my clothes right now like tapering and hemming pants or darting shirts.

I'm not going to be making own own clothes anytime soon but from what I gather, the trick is to use templates that already fit you well for the clothes you will be making. With these templates you'll cut the material and then the next step will be sewing everything together.

From my limited knowledge, the easier part looks like the assembly. The real talent is designing clothes or using templates that will drape nicely on the body.

Here is a chick who made her own jacket. The website is confusing to navigate but she outlines all the steps she did in one of the tabs. I am impressed by the result.

Put simply, yes. But it doesn't work like that since man and woman attraction switches are totally different.

Men are attracted to beautiful women and women are attracted to high status men, barring exceptions.

Clothes are just one of the way for you to display status, but status is very very situational, whereas beauty is not. In the eye of the beholder, my ass.

A blazer among a gothic crowd is lame, and a leather jacket among CEOs is lame. Whereas a hot girl is a hot girl, not a huge difference if she is wearing a trashbag, a sexy dress, or nothing at all.

If you are looking for a safe, versatile style then I would say a blazer is good.

I fucking love blazer and have some of the best for my body, but since I hit on young, artsy girls a leather jacket works 10x better.

Just got this classic military style jacket:



It's very light, like an overshirt. Fits a little loose, which I love. This will definitely get a lot of use during spring/summer nights.

For you guys that did shopping in SEA -- how is the price-quality factor there compared to EU? I will be in Thailand and hopefully in Vietnam as well this summer. Will I be able to save much by shopping in SEA or is it better to already do some before-trip shopping in Europe?

I'm not looking for any high-quality clothes to be honest -- no budget for that. I need to stock plenty of fitted t-shirts and a few slim-fit shirts that will go well with chinos/shorts chinos and a pair of loafers/chukka boots.

If the prices are more or less the same then I guess it's better to do shopping in the EU where I also have tons of online stores available as well as decent selection of shops in malls. From what I learnt from Google prices are indeed lower, but most posts are a few years old (2012-2015) and SEA has surely gotten more expensive since then.

Besides, I am aiming for low to medium end clothes and shoes, say, decent summer loafers up to $150.
