Give FreeSpoken a chance.

If I'm understanding GNU Social properly, it should not matter which service any one particular person uses so long as they are federated. At this point, anything that draws users away from twitter will be beneficial.

It matters, each service is like a separate networking site. We should all use FreeSpoken for now.

- A small About page
- An option to personalize your background image (no info is sent to the server, local cookie only).

Please report any issues you encounter.

Years ago a bunch of acquaintances tried to use one called "Plurk". I think it is still around. That one allowed people a little more anonymity or something. I'm not sure what it's conduct policy is though.

I'm down for moving my social internet crap to a better venue. Something that would allow us to organize outside of the public eye would be ideal.
