Man I have a weakness for these movies from the 60s and 70s. I would add The Poseidon Adventure to the list mainly because of Gene Hackman. I miss Gene and the strong male characters he portrayed.

Once Were Warriors (New Zealand, 1994)

About a family descending from Maori warriors. One of my favorite movies and a must see for every RVFer. The family head Jake "The Mus" Heke is an amazing powerful character. I get chills just from thinking about the ending.

Evil (original title: Ondskan) (Sweden, 2003)

Awesome coming-of-age drama from the feminist capital of the world, Sweden. Semi self biographical movie written by famous Swedish author Jan Gillou. A boy with an abusive stepfather gets expelled from school from fighting, and ends up in a boarding school where the older students control the younger.

The Finest Hour was tremendous as far as having a strong male lead and a submissive woman which surprised me considering that it was made by Disney - but it was also the 50s (which I wish I could time travel back to) so they had to make it realistic

But you blame the feeling of having a brick in your stomach on the chicken itself with little or no acknowledgement of where you ate it and how it was prepared? It’s 50% sugar and starch, but the problem is chicken?

This hits the nail on the head. Back in the bad old days when I was less selective what I would put in my mouth, I ordered a dish of orange chicken at a Chinese restaurant. It was overcooked which is really deadly. That hardened sugar is like eating lead pellets, and your body has to work to digest it. I lost so much water in diarrhea, that in the night I developed excruciatingly painful muscle cramps in my legs, due to the electrolytes lost. If you really want to avoid something in your diet. Avoid sugar. The less sugar the better. People are fat in America because they eat too much sugar. It's not fat. And it is not meat that is the problem. People are ignorant of the basic science of nutrition that has been known for some time now. They would rather follow dangerous gimmicks, because they are fad following sheep.

This movie isn't about game, it's about mentorship and being a man.
An old man taking, an insecure young man under his wing and helping him learn all the necessary skills to be more social, to get a job, to get a girlfriend, to stand up for himself and take his responsibility; in short becoming a man.
On the way of becoming a man, you will gain more confidence, that means you will start to develop inner game.
That's what you can learn about game in this movie.
