I don't think the governments give a shit. Iraq war had a huge opposition worldwide and they still went along with it. I don't even see protests this time around.

The problem is Western people have been far removed from war and don't know what it is like anymore. The US/NATO drops bombs on people in the ME every single day and we don't even lift a finger to protest it. They do it in a very discreet way and hide it from the public. Then we wonder why they hate us.
