^^ Totally Agree with Scotian: The Regular Canadians working in these places have no identification with the NDP. The NDP better represents the powerful government unions and universities, with their brainwashed bureaucrats than any kind of private trade union.

We definitely have crossed the Racist Rubicon when a guy can call other people privileged based on skin colour, when he was obviously born into wealth himself. I am enjoying hearing about his horseback riding private US school lifestyle though, its hilarious. Insistence on silk in his jackets, this guy is a fucking treat. Can you imagine him being a war time PM !

I’m old enough to remember the NDP destroying Ontario. Hard to believe that anyone could support such nonsense as an adult.

Everyone’s a socialist when they’re young and broke. The true irony is that kids (generally speaking) kind of grow up in a socialist environment as their parents pay for everything. Free stuff rocks. I was a bit of an idealist when younger myself.

Getting out there and working changes everything. Watching half your pay check disappear before you even get it sucks rancid cock. People that sponge off the system begin to infuriate you.

I saw a video of Trudeau getting dropped by an old man boxer. Find it, it’s worth watching.

Sadly, the country has been sold out long before these current PMs were in place.

The country has changed over the last decade, it will only get worse.

The Chinese are buying up everything and that will not be good for all of us.

I never fit the young socialist mold, but I get it. When I was young I liked the Reform party because the Bull shit GST which was killing my allowance. The Mike Harris Common Sense revolution was the peak of Ontarian society in my lifetime. It was amazing how many things turned around in a short time for the working man. He cut the tax rate by 1/3rd and still balanced the budget which was a total disaster when he got in.

Its too bad today the liberals are probably further left than Rae was back then, now half the country is stricken with this retardation.

All you can do in Canada is structure your life to avoid taxes, get a rental property, find a way to write stuff off, work as an independent with your own corporation. I know a lot of smart people who have basically passed up that promotion to management because its not worth it, they'd rather work their 40 hours and get double pay on their OT. The extra management salary and responsibility just pushes you into a higher bracket where you are actually getting paid less by the hour.

The creep on your social benefits programs that are really 'fringe taxes' you pay: CPP, EI, WSIB (which you don't even see) will just get pumped back into social programs under the guise of retraining.

Increasingly in Ontario under Wynne you saw lesbians running all the admin as high end bureaucrats. I have friends working in corrections, and all the head bureaucrats were lesbos there under Wynne, instituting all their gay changes to try and fix the patriarchy which worked so well.

(Watched the old guy handle Trudeau with ease in the boxing ring - very nice)

I’m conflicted because on one hand I thoroughly enjoyed watching an old boxer toy with Trudeau, but I have to begrudgingly give him respect for getting in there in the first place.

He did take a pretty nice left to the face.

Watching him fight Brazeau was pretty funny too.

I was in my early 20’s when Mike The Knife brought his common sense revolution to Ontario and I do remember a lot of things changing very quickly too.

Massive cuts to welfare payments brought down the actual number of recipients and many of the numerous subsidized housing neighborhoods all disappeared.

RE: The Canada Political Thread
I just saw Bernier's interview with Steve Paikin on TVO. Paikin is one of the better journalists in the country but he's still a lefty, although a more balanced one.

That question when he asked Bernier: Are alt-right, white nationalists and anti-immigration people welcomed in your party? lol

Of course Bernier cucked out and said he's for immigration. Bernier is the only major politician who says he wants to lower immigration but he would merely bring it back to Harper levels (250k/year), which would certainly not stop the replacement of white Canadians. Canada is such a cucked country that you cannot question the immigration dogma without being called a racist.

Disappointing from Max.

Ah well. I wish Doug Ford could run for Prime Minister of Canada but his lack of French would prevent him from winning.

Let the French stew among the growing divide for a bit longer, and we might see a chance of good, strong leadership who don't speak French.

Immigration is something that cannot be ignored any longer. Especially now that the Sikh Indians and the Cantonese Chinese are starting to howl about all the shitty immigrants coming in from India and China.

She may not win, but it's at least making the Toronto mayoral race interesting to watch..

MSM Take on Ford and Goldy

Ontario Premier Doug Ford lashed out Monday at opposing MPPs who condemned his connection to far-right commentator Faith Goldy.

Goldy, who has espoused white-nationalist views and appeared on a neo-Nazi podcast, is running in Toronto’s mayoral race.

On Saturday, she attended the premier’s annual Ford Fest barbecue and posed for a picture with him. At the event, she tweeted comments like, “Faith nation is Ford nation,” and posted a photo of them together, saying she “can’t wait” to work with the premier.

Thank God @fordnation is Premier of this great again province! His respect for our officers & the taxpayer is unparalleled.

The Ford family knows better than most the deep level of rot at Toronto City Hall.

I can’t wait to work WITH DOUG to cut taxes & Make Toronto Safe Again! pic.twitter.com/wRrw44aShF

— Faith J Goldy (@FaithGoldy) September 23, 2018 .....................

Toronto's first mayoral debate that Faith wasn't invited to, so she crashed.

^ I'll be voting for the tradthot. It annoys me hearing Evan Solomon rip into her on Toronto AM radio as a joke candidate when she could have 3-6 percent of the vote.

Tory is a cuckservative if I've ever seen one. I don't mind his overall financial management, but his gayness is evident and overflowing on any social issue. Keesmat (on the left) is so far behind that she isn't a threat. If it was tight I'd probably suck it up and vote for Tory.

I'll be voting for the tradthot with the fake lips. I'd love to see her run 10% just to get some recognition.

Faith Goldy needs to go away and what we see above is my main issue with her. Canadian Civics is not a strong suit here in Canada which many people not knowing the weird quirks of are the Governmental system. My issue with Goldy as she is purely just attention whoring for her Mayoral bid as she is far too often conflating items that have no jurisdiction on a city level. Issues such as immigration are in no way in any shape or form within the powers of the city. From day one, the focus should have been on crime and not much else if she was purely committed and devoted to actually being the Mayor of Toronto (she isn't).

While I don't agree that she should be censored and she should be allowed and given the same platform as all other candidates she continually runs herself into a small box by doing stuff like the above. She is running herself into a small box, on the right, no different than usually Mayoral candidates like that one homeless guy Kevin Clarke or this one weirdo socialist guy who walks around with a banner at Queens Park all the time.

In reference to Guliani. Nobody wants a Guliani treatment to take place in Toronto. Gulani sterilized NYC and largely Manhattan which has lead to its complete commercialization and gentrification. You sterilize the city and all you get is chain stores and expensive condos. Also, the resurgence of Wall Street and Venture Capital back into NYC had as much to do with its rebound. Prior to the 90s NYC was licking its wounds after the stock blow up of the late 80s which hollowed out the Financial Core in the downtown (which was, in turn, a dead cat bounce from much of the rot that was still present from the 70s, with the 80s stock boom provided a veneer over the mentioned decay).

Goldy should be looking at ways to steal votes from her ideologue challenger in Tory. The irony is as Tory has old wheezy blue blood it would be Goldy that would only be able to then find a niche with the large Conservative ethnic bases in Scarborough for example. She has run herself out of that segment though as she is being linked as a tradthot who gets wet for WNs (this is how the media paints her locally), she would be better served running for Parliment of MPP Provincially if she wanted to actually go after highly testy and charged platform issues.

And, I am talking about small-level businesses. I was driving west through Saskatchewan and Alberta and I was noticing that all of hotels and many of the gas stations were Chinese owned and operated. There are guys from Shenzhen, who couldn't find Edmonton on a map, who own two or three Holiday Inn type hotels in Alberta. I used to shy away from economic nationalism, but I am beginning to wonder...

Why the fuck should Faith Goldy go away?

As for national ideas, then it is clear that there won't be any shaping of that, but her clearly Identitarian pro-Western approach is strongly attacked from all globalist sides. Plus - who says that a successful local politician cannot start later on the national front? Sure - it's illusory in the current power-grip, but it should tell you everything you know about current democracy.

And mayors can oppose many shitty policies.

When you don't give a flying fuck about the West and Canada, then of course - Soros loves you to do away with all candidates that may voice even the slightest bit of JQ or ethnic interests. It is just the same how I read papers where they congratulated themselves on the back for ousting all US politicians like Pat Buchanan from the Republicans 20 years ago.

They block her even from running ads in the media. Any true opposition to the current status quo will be attacked from all fronts.

So fuck that - all your other candidates are scum, traitors or assholes. Good luck picking among a bunch of turds.

She got even fired by Jordan Peterson from one his panels on Free Speech ironically - that stupid individualist UN globalist cuck.

Canadian Mayors are a step up from dog catcher, they have little to no power aside from the ability to get news cameras to a press conference.

Faith Goldy is probably the most well known person aside from the current mayor and she is barley polling above 1%. She is a tradthot and just wants attention. If she had her act together she would run for Parliament in next year's election where her uber nationalist platform would actually get traction.

I got zero patience for girls who just trying to take some limelight. She is just an attention whore.

RE: The Canada Political Thread
< I don't think that she got the remote funding to run a national campaign - my guess is that she wanted to voice her views at least on a Toronto mayoral election race, so that more people hear her views. Then maybe jump into something bigger down the line.

But whatever - she is no billionaire heiress, so she won't get anywhere.

And mayors can prevent some bigger excesses or exacerbate them - Sadiq Khan and Giuliani are two excellent examples of what different mayors can do for a city. One enacts a London hate-crime-Facebook-police force and stops search and frisk in certain areas - sees stabbings and crime rise - the other does the opposite. One mayor declares his city a sanctuary city and greenlights every refugee center on his turf while the other blocks everything. One mayor makes constant Obama-esque inciting comments, the other Red Pills the normies.

Whatever - she did not have a chance to win anyway and I have no idea what some of those activists on the right are doing - her pretty mug and not so dumb mind might be better served doing other things (aside from getting married and popping out kids).

My cousin and his family are living in Toronto, so I occasionally talk with him how things are faring in Canada as I have also some other family over there.

It's just funny to see the establishment clamp down on her so hard so fast - that should tell you something. And I doubt that she would get just 1% if she had at least a fair fighting chance - that sounds like full-on fake-news to me - if that was her potential then they would not be concerned about her at all.

Faith Goldy's poll standings actually droped after her stunt, she is at 1.5%.

Quote:Among decided voters (excluding undecided voters), Tory has 63.7% support, while Keesmaat has 30.7%. Faith Goldy drops to 1.5%, while Global News debate participants Sarah Climenhaga and Saron Gebresellassi have 1.3% and 1.1% respectively.

Kosko, when a mayor can pretty much unilaterally declare their town a "sanctuary city", then I have no issues with a candidate (no matter how unserious or attention-whoring) calling attention to the federal issue of immigration, refugees and illegal migrants.

RE: The Canada Political Thread
I have now actually taken the time to compare the new People's Party of Canada with the Conservative Party of Canada.

The CPC Policy Declaration is available here.

The framework for what will be the PPC Constitution can be seen here.

I... uh... don't get it. The major policy positions are almost identical. Here is the difference that matters -> the PPC is fundamentally opposed to supply management and they also want to reduce immigration back to 250,000 people per year.

I am agnostic on the supply management side, to be honest. I like the idea of rolling back immigration numbers and I certainly don't support the LPC plans to take it to 400,000+. But, how can this new structure work. The PPC is just the CPC if Bernier had won the leadership race. The PPC identifies more with classical liberalism and libertarianism, while the CPC identifies as socially conservative. But, as can be seen, the CPC do not oppose abortion (as it currently stands in Canada - a free-for-all), gay marriage, or the current state of euthanasia. So, what exactly are they socially conservative on? Do they endorse watching reruns of the Lawrence Welk Show or something?

This is continuing to look like a PC/Reform/Alliance debacle to me. I think Bernier is going to spilt the conservative or rightish vote in many ridings. On his recent interview on The Agenda, Bernier claimed he was going to run candidates in all federal ridings. And for those who envision a potential unity government in which a large CPC contingent share power with a new but strong PPC, I could honestly see Bernier supporting a deal with the Liberals before the CPC. There is a lot of bad blood there. I'm neither understanding nor liking the direction this is taking.

Currently out of office.

RE: The Canada Political Thread
As I try to stay as far away from Toronto as I can, I have been ignoring the mayoral/municipal election. But, this thread got me to look in to it. I like Faith Goldy. But, I like her for the same reason I like all of the 33 other candidates who are not John Tory... because they are not John Tory.

Lest we forget the pc grandstanding that Tory did when Roosh was in town, see here. Apologies if that was already posted. I only read back a bit. There is also the small matter that Tory (like many of his ilk) seems to be a Liberal who accidentally checked the wrong party affiliation when he was registering to run.

The reason I actually wanted to post... again... was to point out the election rules for Toronto. I was reading the "Who Can Vote?" section of the Toronto elections website, and I practically can vote in this election. Keep in mind that I don't even reside in North America. So, if I can, maybe you can. I would suggest any Canadians on the board should swing by and check it out, specifically if you own or "rent" any property in Toronto.

The changes that, first, prevented me from voting in Canadian federal elections, and, second, allowed me to vote in Canadian federal elections, got me far more interested in the practice of "voting from afar". I would suggest all those who can look in to it.

Currently out of office.

Imagine you booked a room at this Radisson here in Toronto for 200$/night and find out upon your arrival that hundreds of Muslim and African refugees occupy the place.

And Faith Goldy for mayor is the real problem?

Right.

Others described the hotel as “dangerous,” dirty and noisy — and that the lobby is a “madhouse,” full of loitering refugees.

A visitor from Montreal said kids were “skateboarding in the lobby” and the staff didn’t seem to care.

“My daughter kept getting harassed by full-grown men (refugees),” the Montrealer wrote on TripAdvisor.

But yeah - clear anti-globalist candidates are indeed the real issue. Of course they are - to the elite.

You can forget about reading each of their respective programs. I can tell you the program - more of the same and full-on globalism with different lies. Anyone who gets refused ad-space - that is at least a person they don't control.

RE: The Canada Political Thread

It is more difficult to get a Toronto Public Libary card than it is to vote in Toronto Municipal Elections.
