RE: The Canada Political Thread

Nothing in this video seems English Canadian. Just 1 food item from French Canada, 1 I mistook for Amerindian (when I googled Pokedoki they state it's Japanese) and the rest are all taken from Taiwan / Korea / Japan. All the people in the background look Asian too. And the blonde woman in the video is likely American since she has showed up in other Buzzfeed videos (which is based out of California).
White people have been on the White Coast since the 1840s so I am surprised there doesn't seem to be any local cultural food that stands out interesting enough to be included on a video..
English Canada doesn't seem to exist anymore (culturally or demographically speaking) in the biggest cities. One can't necessarily blame Trudeau for it because the point of no return arguably happened under Chretien / Martin / Harper. Canada is probably the first country in the world that actually that let immigrants take it over without a war being fought.
Thing is they've turned Canada into an inferior Asia. If you go to the real Asia: things are open until 11 PM (bars often until 5 am) and the local women seem hotter too (and easier to date). Not so in Vancouver (where the city shuts down before 9 PM a lot and a lot of bars close by midnight / 1 am) nor Toronto (which produces a lot of incels). I also think Asia has more white worship whereas Asians in Canada come from richer backgrounds, been subjected to SJW propaganda ("white people are evil") and/or laugh at white Canadians who gave their country away.

RE: The Canada Political Thread
I saw Jagmeet cycling today in the Burnaby-South riding while out on my run, dude was decked out in a pretty expensive coat, shoes and pants, overdressed for cycling.
Trying to go as slow as possible to get attention, no one recognized him LOL, I gave him a wink (no homo) and a quick thumbs down.
His performance is going to be lackluster, it's going to depend on if the asians in the neighbourhood bother to vote, but real risk of that voting block splitting LPC/CPC.
Otherwise there's still plenty of historical blue collar NDP voters that can earn him the win.
He had a horrible interview with Evan Solomon that just completely shows he's in over his head RE: federal issues (even went to ORANGE MAN DRUMPF BAD, in response to a question about the China/Canada Huawei spat)
Dude should have just stuck provincially in Ontario, had a good chance with the Libs poor showing.

RE: The Canada Political Thread
Jagmeet alienated many blue collar Canucks by inferring that members of the Saskatchewan NDP party were “privileged” because they’re white. Sure thing Jagmeet, a bunch of teachers, farmers and nurses are privileged and you’re not, even though you graduated from the top law school in the country and drove your rich dad’s Benz to school while wearing $3000 tailored suits.
God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

RE: The Canada Political Thread
Liberal Karen Wang Resigns From B.C. Byelection After Racial Comment About Jagmeet Singh
Quote:OTTAWA — A B.C. daycare operator will no longer represent the Liberal Party in the upcoming Burnaby South byelection after she goaded constituents to vote for her on the basis of ethnicity.
StarMetro Vancouver broke the news Tuesday about a posting then-Liberal candidate Karen Wang shared on WeChat to Chinese voters about her rival, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh.
"My opponent in this byelection is the NDP candidate Singh of Indian descent!" reads a translation of the now-deleted post.
The Liberal Party confirmed in a statement Wednesday that Wang has stepped down.
Wang's remarks 'not aligned' with Liberal values, party says
"Recent online comments by Karen Wang are not aligned with the values of the Liberal Party of Canada. The Liberal Party has accepted her resignation as the Liberal candidate in the Burnaby South by-election," the statement reads.
"Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party of Canada have always stood for the full and equal participation of all Canadians in our democracy, regardless of their background. The Liberal Party has a clear commitment to positive politics and support for Canadian diversity, and the same is always expected of our candidates."
Wang released a statement conceding that her words weren't "well-considered." Noting her pride in calling Burnaby South home for the past two decades, she credited the "diverse character" of the riding as a "real source of strength" that "enriches all of us as Canadians."
She explained while she was trying to connect with constituents about the value of diversity, she "made comments online that also referenced Jagmeet Singh's cultural background."
Singh, a former criminal lawyer, is Sikh and made history in October 2017 by becoming the first person of colour to lead a major Canadian federal party.
Despite her racial comment, Wang maintained she still holds Singh in a high regard.
"I have deep respect for him as the leader of his party and for his public service - and I would never want to diminish that in any way," her statement reads.
The Liberals faced pressure to drop Wang as a candidate immediately after the report was released, notably from Conservative MP Michelle Rempel.
News about Wang's attempt to shore up votes by using race-baiting as a tactic to get people to the polls emerged shortly after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau encouraged a town hall audience to approach intolerance with respect and civil conversation.
Speaking to the crowd at Brock University in St. Catharines Tuesday evening, Trudeau brought up his party's 2015 election pledge to stick to "positive politics" and to reject attack ads.
Wang's comments seemingly provided a real-time counterpoint to the prime minister's message, and challenged his repeated celebration of diversity as core to the Canadian identity.
Following Wang's resignation, Singh told reporters that he didn't take the issue personally. Divisive politics is a problem that is already common, he said, adding he didn't expect race to be a wedge issue.
"I want to focus on politics that bring people together because we share so much in common," Singh said.
The Liberal candidate's resignation is a surprising twist in a high-stakes byelection race for Singh, who does not have a seat in the House of Commons.
If people weren't aware of the byelection campaign in Burnaby South, then Wang's resignation as the Liberal candidate may have brought new attention to the race. It's a bit of a déjà vu moment for Singh, who was confronted by a racist heckler in September 2017, while vying for the NDP leadership.
His response went viral and put a spotlight on his candidacy in the last weeks of the leadership race, which he subsequently won on the first ballot.
But Singh's tenure as NDP leader has since been bruised with an exodus of incumbents, low approval ratings, and name recognition issues.
Unclear if Liberals will extend 'leader's courtesy'
A Mainstreet Research poll released Tuesday before Wang's resignation suggested his fortunes are turning around — at least in the byelection race.
Pollsters found among decided and leaning voters, Singh garnered 38.8 per cent support; Wang 26.3 per cent; Tory candidate Jay Shin had 22 per cent; and People's Party of Canada candidate Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson trailed with 8.7 per cent.
The poll surveyed 740 voters in Burnaby South between Jan. 8-10. Its margin of error is 3.6 percentage points, accurate 19 times out of 20.
It's unclear if the Liberals will replace Wang with a new candidate or extend a so-called "leader's courtesy" to Singh before the Feb. 25 byelection date.
Liberal Party spokesman Braeden Caley told HuffPost Canada because Wang's resignation happened recently, "We'll have more to discuss on that in due course."

RE: The Canada Political Thread
It's been a busy week in the Canuck terror scene, this shit is getting hard to keep up with:
Alleged Canadian ISIS member captured in Syria, according to Kurdish forces: https://globalnews.ca/news/4844413/canad...-captured/
Quote:Another alleged Canadian ISIS member has been captured in northern Syria, according to local Kurdish forces, who posted a video of the man. In the 40-second video clip, the man identified himself as Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed and said he was an Ethiopian-Canadian. Kurdish forces said he was arrested by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces in Deir al-Zour, the last ISIS stronghold in Syria.
Meanwhile in Kenya:
Canadian national among accused in terror attack that killed 21 at Nairobi hotel https://globalnews.ca/news/4862881/canad...or-attack/
Quote:A Canadian national and five other people suspected of helping extremist gunmen stage a deadly attack in the Kenyan capital this week appeared in court on Friday as prosecutors investigated them for suspected terror offences.
And another story in our own back yard, wasn't a major headline, just a "mentally unstable woman": https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/w...-1.4982172
Quote:Jurors deliberated just over an hour on Thursday before delivering a decision in the case of Rehab Dughmosh, who was arrested in July 2017 after the attack at a location at a mall in east Toronto. Dughmosh initially faced a total of 21 charges, but in the end faced four, including two counts of assault with a weapon and one of carrying a weapon — all in the name of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. She was also charged with leaving Canada for the purpose of committing a criminal offence in connection with an attempted trip to Syria in April 2016.
As Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian, right? No worries, the Liberals will help these poor misunderstood souls out with group therapy, hugs and counselling, nothing to see here folks! Maple syrup, oil, timber, wheat, car parts, poutine, French strippers, ISLAMIC TERRORISM. All exports of the great white north, parts of our unique cultural mosaic.
I give myself about five more years until I go expat somewhere or build a cabin in a remote Cape Breton and surround myself with guns, our cities are becoming increasingly unlivable with these lunatics in our midst. My dear home city of Halifax, which decided it was a good idea to flood itself with Muslims about twenty years ago, is currently going through a "taxi rape problem", of course we all know it's really a Muslim rape epidemic but we don't want to offend anyone, better to allow our young women to be raped than be accused of racism!
Another Halifax taxi driver charged with sexual assault: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scot...-1.4970266
Seyed Abolghasem Sadat Lavasani Bozor, Basaam Al-Rawi and a third yet-to-be-named suspect all facing sexual assault charges, I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that his name won't be something like Bob MacNeil. There were actually people suggesting that the newspapers should ban the publications of these perverts names because they feared that it would stoke racism, ya not shit retards!
God damned them all, I was told we'd cruise the seas for American gold, we'd fire no guns-shed no tears, now I'm a broken man on a Halifax pier, the last of Barrett's privateers!

RE: The Canada Political Thread
Last night I was at a buddies house and playing poker. We started discussing politics somehow and another player who is a real estate agent told a story how he dealt with the the recent refugees from the Middle East. Another agent called him to see if he had any listings for lease in Mississauga (suburb of Toronto) and mentioned that she is a single mom with 5 kids with one disabled child. She receives approximately $6000 CAD per month so he said. I'm like WTF!!! Accepting the worlds problems and paying for it dearly. I get it, we can all do our parts to help refugees but for how long? Those countries are directly and indirectly getting rid of their "problems" and shitting on the west. Like Castro did in 1980 I believe.
Nobody should receive $6k in aid period. Refugees should be given a safe place to live and an opportunity to give back and work. I'll go 1 step further, if they are a burden to society they are kicked out.if they are productive, and want to be Canadians, great. Pathway to citizenship. As for the takers, Let Japan take them. Wait, there are countries that don't take a lot or any refugees. Who are the stupid ones?
Anyhow, you bring in the 3rd world you become the 3rd world. Maybe this term doesn't exist as the progressives are constantly changing definitions and moving the goal post.

Bruh: Circle of giving among Syrian refugees helps launch new halal shop
Quote:Twenty-year-old Rafat Harb has risked his savings on a new grocery and halal butcher shop to serve the community that's given his family a future. It's a venture that wouldn't be possible without the helping hand he's getting from fellow Syrian refugees who, in return, are getting a boost toward achieving their own aspirations. Harb has invested his earnings from shovelling snow, working at Sobeys for a year and profits from his share in a Middle Eastern pastry business, to open Syrian Meat Shop in central Halifax three weeks ago. There's no government money in this enterprise.
Great news, an entrepreneurial family starts a business on their own WITH NO GIMMEDAT FUNDS from Canadian taxpayers, I feel so warm and fuzzy inside!
Quote:He's Harb's father, Mohammad, who spends most of his time learning English, and helping his family get to school and appointments. The Harbs are a family of 10, and half have muscular dystrophy, including Mohammad. Their lives in Canada are vastly improved, thanks to the medical care and the education they're receiving.
FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!!!!!!
What were these cousin fucking retards thinking?
"Honey, I have a genetic disease that will require life long medical attention, my body will waste away to the point that I won't be able to move."
"Mohamed (another one lol), I love you, let's make a baby, insh'Allah it will be healthy"
"Honey, our kid has muscular dystrophy just like me"
"Mohamed, it's Allah's will, let's have seven more kids"
"Baby, we have eight kids now and half of them have have this terrible disease, what shall we do"
"I hear there's a country full of bleeding heart idiots called Canada and it's dear leader wears nice socks and will accept us and pay for it all"
"great idea Mo, let's pack up the kids and go!"
