I like him because he is out west and has none of that corruption and elitism that plagues the Tories right now. He has five kids and they seem great, lots of people know him in real life and all say the same things; Great family, nice man, smart and cheeky.

I know the people running his campaign, and while a lot of people here don't seem to like the Jews, they run strong political campaigns and no one likes to see their man lose. These Canadian Jews are good solid conservatives, and they will put their power behind a solid candidate. Plus, they are all young and have spoken harshly against all the SJW, destruction of values and the western federation.

He likely dropped out due to money. These random and abrupt departures in politics are mostly always because of funds drying up.

It sounds odd because he is rich, but his "Canadian rich" which isn't like how Yankees are. He wasn't a Irving or a Weston with money and power spilling out of his ass. He had to fundraise and pitch for diners and likely it all dried up when his chances seems far in winning.

I was never big on O'Leary as he was just a shitter version of Trump; more Mark Cuban, than Trump IMO. He did good injecting a certain narrative into the discussion overall but payoff has to be if a candidate can carry forward those points he brought up.

Some random thoughts

I predicted many months back that this is Weaver's (BC GREEN) opportunity to shine, and mirror Wilson's 1991 performance that fully established the BC Libs and destroyed the SoCreds.

Wouldn't be surprised to see 20% vote share and the Greens holding the balance of power with 2-4 seats.

The BCL are masters at strategy, in three northern ridings they've put in the running local popular first nations leaders, the first nation vote has always been taken for granted by the NDP, Christy Clark was in these northern ridings this weekend. Whereas NDP leader has spent the most amount of his time in Metro Vancouver (followed by a group of trolls and their rented box truck). If the BCL takes these three ridings, the NDP are toast.

Again RE: BCL strategy, Burnaby/Coquitlam has them running a popular former news Anchor and a Korean businessman, which gives them a huge chance of flipping two seats.
