Taking advice from the Pope on dealing with women is like taking advice from a neckbeard virgin on how to be a PUA. You cannot appease a hungry crocodile with a sausage : it won't stop until it's eaten the pig.

1 Tim 2: 9-15 :

"Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments, but rather by means of good works, as is proper for women making a claim to godliness. A woman must quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint."

The Red Pope's predecessor, Pope Benedict, was considered "too conservative". I'd take him back anytime over the current Bishop of Rome.

At this point I'd like to know the *real* reason(s) why Pope Benny retired and what they did to/with him.

Pope Benedict is quietly living out his days as "Pontiff Emeritus". Honestly, I think he's older and got tired of dealing with the bullshit. No more, no less.

But, then the floodgates were open to get a SJW pope elected and that they did.

The Roman Catholic church is pretty bad ass if you think about it. They are literally a law unto themselves.

If she's convicted, is there internal Vatican prison that she'll be placed in or would she her incarceration be overseen by Italian authorities?

There are Vatican prison cells indeed. Which is logical because The Vatican is a State.

"The Vatican City State, which is about 110 acres, is an independent state — in fact, the smallest internationally recognized independent state in the world by both area and population. The pope is its head, ruling almost like an absolute monarch. The Vatican mints its own euros, prints its own stamps, issues passports and license plates, operates media outlets, has its own flag and anthem, and yes, operates a criminal justice system.

Despite its somewhat medieval look, the Vatican City State technically doesn’t have a prison. It does, however, have four holding cells, each measuring about 12 feet by 12 feet, which authorities prefer to call “secure rooms” that randomly hold minor offenders, such as pickpockets caught at the Vatican Museums."

This is correct.
The Lateran Treaty of 1929 was an agreement made between the Holy See and the Kingdom of Italy which recognized the Vatican as an independent state. It's sovereignty means that the Popes from Pius XI to Francis are 3 in 1 - monarch of a nation, CEO of a corporation and Pope of a Religion.
As a result, this woman is indeed subject to its laws and the Italian authorities have no jurisdiction in the matter. She's on her own now.

Saint Paul, the original Red Pill Man of God. He understood what happens when you let women have hand. Deep down, a woman is made to submit, just like he called men to submit to Christ. Reading Paul's writings, it is dripping with Red Pill wisdom, where he also called the early church brothers to stop fighting amongst themselves and acting childishly. Saint Paul had strong frame.

How the fuck does the Pope, or whoever is hiring at the Vatican, get into this situation? Did he not read the Bible?

This pope seems to already be having a noticeable negative effect on activity and participation rates within the Catholic population:

RE: Pope brings a woman into Vatican management : she quickly betrays him!
What we really need is a Pope who believes in stopping and accepting responsibility for the policies that brought about mass kiddie fucking in Catholic institutions for centuries. And a Pope who actually knows or is inclined to run the Catholic Church as custodian not only of people's souls and a treasurehouse of art, but also as responsible custodian of their donations.

Yes, I am pivoting the topic a little here. Please object if you think I should go to another thread.

On one hand, Francis was a clown to bring someone like this into a position where they could betray him. On the other hand, the Vatican's finances have been festering for decades and the place is a den of corruption, mainly because the people running it have fuck-all knowledge about ethical accounting and a mindset depressingly similar to your average bureaucrat with none of the accountability to press or people.

David Yallop's book In God's Name is Ground Zero for the conspiracy theory that John Paul I was assassinated in his bed rather than died of natural causes. But when you read the book you discover the whole second half delves into a far more murky and significant element of the church's hierarchy: the Vatican Bank. Cardinal Paul Marcinkus was the exemplar of this corruption, and abused the Vatican's status as an independent nation to avoid any prosecution or arrest over the crimes he was involved in during and after JP 1's tenure, involving the Banco Ambrosiano. A river of dirty money has flowed through the Vatican's coffers and come out clean, much of it from Mafia sources. Literally millions, back when a million dollars actually meant something. Some of those millions were used to fight Communism in Eastern Europe, it might be noted.

Either way, not one Pope in the modern era has taken a real interest in cleaning up the Vatican Bank. JP 2 ignored all of JP 1's intended reforms for the bank's finances, and Benedict was too busy being a theologian and trying to escape responsibility for the paedophilia scandal to pay any real attention to it. Francis has made, at best, some piddlingly small efforts in this direction. Remember, the woman's disclosures basically related to the misuse of Church funds ... of which a pretty decent proportion are, in short, donations from Church congregations around the world, right down to the misappropriation of Peter's Pence, the funds meant to support the Pope in Rome (of which about 69 million was collected in 2011.)

That deserves cleaning up. It needs cleaning up. The collections taken up at mass every week are an act of faith: they are an act that the giver believes the money will be spent on advancing the Church's causes and on charity. But as the last three Popes demonstrate, the Vatican Bank won't be cleaned up unless you rip bandaids off and expose the whole bloody lot to some much-needed sunlight. In that sense, and that sense alone, the woman's imprisonment is unfair. As far as I can tell her gravest crime is doing something similar to Edward Snowden.

The other issue is that of child paedophilia.

Idiots say it only happens in the Catholic Church, but that's highly unlikely. The only reason the Catholic Church is being targeted is because the Church is nominally hierarchical and has a large priesthood. Child rape, though, is fundamentally about the abuse of power over children, and I'm sure as time goes on the lawsuits will start reaching for large Protestant congregations since the same relationships do exist there. There is also a significant paedophilia problem among Jewish Orthodox congregations too by rabbis against students, but reports on it are hushed up or minimised. And SJWs aren't interested in asking themselves what happens in mosques. Only fuckwits say that it's because Catholicism is the only one that requires celibacy from its priests: Anglican (Episcopalian) priests have been able to marry for centuries and have the same problems as Catholicism on child rape. (In passing, the Australian Royal Commission on Child Sexual Abuse in Institutions is going to be important to watch because it's going after historical paedophile cases in government and private, i.e. Church institutions, not just going after the Catholic Church. We'll learn a bit about how kiddie fuckers operate and about their preferred hunting grounds, and hopefully how to stop it or prevent it across the board, not just in churches.)

The Church got round to making apologies via Benedict for all the abuse that happened in its institutions, but its actions still are to minimise and cover up when they occur in the present day. The only reason it's come to light is because you can effectively sue people in the West. Christ knows what's happening in third world shitholes where the Church is still gaining adherents. We might have to wait another 30 years or so before those stories start coming out, I'd guess.

Part of it, I suspect, is because the Catholic priesthood is wedged on paedophilia: a good contingent of its priests are probably closet homosexuals and I'm guessing a good portion of that are not paedophiles but ephebophiles -- preferring 15 or 16 year old boys, in other words. The Church doesn't want to admit it's got this problem so it can't clean out its dioceses. And I also have the feeling there's still a contingent of old bastards who still think child rape is just a moral problem and think the fuss on paedophilia is all overblown.

The Church doesn't have the excuse that it didn't realise this was a problem or that kiddie fucking was a sin. There are literally documents going back a thousand years -- some from saints no less -- saying explicitly that paedophilia was as reprehensible as you could get. This problem has crept in and is endemic simply because Church congregations were, or are, the sort of breeding ground a paedophile can most effectively hunt in.

The Church has to confront this issue squarely. It really does. I realise a sacrament is not tainted by the sinful priest who celebrates it, but this is one of the largest existential crises the Church has to face in the modern world.

Strangely enough, the solution is still patriarchy: bring back heterosexual men as priests and give us Red Pill sermons that demand we celebrate family and heterosexuality as the work of God. A homosexual priesthood is not a priesthood that can connect with its heterosexual congregation in any meaningful way, no matter what they keep telling us about it. As with the Anglicans, having heterosexual and/or married priests won't solve the paedophilia problem, but it'll keep the Church from further compromising itself on the issue of child rape.

Above all, bring back as a real theme -- as ROK's Aurelius Moner points out -- the concept of Christ the Universal King, the ultimate patriarch. Real patriarchs protect children. Real patriarchs respond to Jesus's suggestion that it would be better for a paedophile to be thrown into the nearest convenient river tied to a large rock than dare to touch a kid. Demand women and men live up to that patriarchal standard. There is a short set of dialogue from the film Mass Appeal with Jack Lemmon and a young Zjelko Ivanek that is apt:

Ivanek: Why are you fighting for me?
Lemmon: Because you're a lunatic! ... And the Church needs lunatics.

Remissas, discite, vivet.
God save us from people who mean well. -storm
