The Roman Catholic church is pretty bad ass if you think about it. They are literally a law unto themselves.

If she's convicted, is there internal Vatican prison that she'll be placed in or would she her incarceration be overseen by Italian authorities?

There are Vatican prison cells indeed. Which is logical because The Vatican is a State.

As a Catholic, I'll say it again: This pope sucks. In many ways, the Jesuits are the original SJWs. They are typically typically uber-liberal, as we see on full display with this one.

I refer to this guy as "The Red Pope". I don't know anyone that's even nominally Christian that likes his social agenda.

The Red Pope's predecessor, Pope Benedict, was considered "too conservative". I'd take him back anytime over the current Bishop of Rome.

No, the "regular" priests do it too. 100 years ago, when I was an altar boy, I used to serve in the Mass where one of the parish priests washed the feet of a couple of people.
