I logged into Twitter to see they locked my account for two tweets that made fun of Sarah Nyberg, who has admitted in the past to being a pedophile:

I'm shocked that Twitter is going to bat for a tranny freak. Based on Twitter's recent censorship actions, particularly against Milo, I can also guess the kind of messed up people they employ.

There is definitely a huge market for a free-speech Twitter. Kind of like like how Voat.co came about after Reddit went full retard and how 8chan launched after 4chan was censoring un-PC post.

@Roosh - Keep an eye out on your Twitter analytics over the coming days, specifically your number of impressions and engagements. Make sure they aren't holding back your tweets from being seen in your followers' timelines. Not sure this is something Twitter does (I think this is more common on Facebook) but it would be worth checking out the next time you go through your stats. It may be one tactic they would try to use to censor you. Banning you would cause a firestorm, muting you discretely would cause a lot less of a PR headache for them.

I always wondered why Gamergate didn't start seeding subversive employees into their institutions with orders to collect the dirt of the type of person they employ.

Because if not....well, just as Roosh can ban, "lock" or dismiss anyone on his platform for any reason he sees fit, trivial or not, so can Twitter......

Now, personally, I think Twitters defense of this guy who is in serious need of medication and therapy is ridiculous, but at the same time, it's really one opinion vs another.....same with el mech and his thoughts on Mcqueen.

What are the true mechanics and infrastructure to start another twitter? I wonder if they patented anything. Now these days you can patent how to wipe your ass techniques.

Netflix was able to stop Blockbuster from doing the mailing DVD thing because it patented the ideas of mailing a dvd and another one of letting you keep it as long as you want. Ridiculous.

This may be another reason why social media may--just may--eventually be replaced by something else. Maybe not in our lifetime, but possibly someday.

Don't ask me what it will be. I have no idea. But it will be superseded by something else.

There is too much massaging of the data, too much filtration of input, too much electronic legerdemain, too much compartmentalization, and too much noise.

Facebook openly admits to channeling and manipulating everything. Twitter is now doing the same.

In the end, maybe we will come full circle. There is nothing quite like personal dialogue, or group meetings of one sort or another.

This is why it is so important for any group to have personal connections with members. And this is why this World Meetup in February is so important.

People are going to be surprised at just how effective it will be.

It was also because of Blockbusters original business model left them in a terrible position to rotate/pivot in a new direction to compete against Netflix.

The people who built up Netflix knew what their business model was from day one so they had presumably worked out the major issues with their service.
Blockbuster would've had to fire and them hire a lot of people just to effectively compete and they still lost in the end.

The days of the mega social network like with Twitter and Facebook are dying. They are like the McDonalds of food. Things will become much more local and niche. RVF is serving as a social network of sorts. ROK comments is another type of social network. We don't need Facebook/Twitter to network and meet.

Big personalities won't need Twitter/Facebook... they can create their own self-branded apps that will never get cancelled and which they own.

There may even be a resurgence of self-owned blogging as people move off Twitter.

Dammit. I know Roosh is the DC and I may be in an adjacent northern county. This is my first snow storm as a Maryland resident. I've lived somewhat close to the Balt-DC area for more than a few years and never had power outage issues. I grew up with day long outages from simple, slight thunderstorms and occasional snowy weather. I thought my days of expecting outages with every dark cloud and snow flurry would end once I moved out of the sticks. Hopefully things stay strong. It's only 30 inches and 50 mph winds after all.
