What is most striking to me about this fellow's video is how utterly banal it is.

One need only to watch the first few minutes to see how calculated, how boilerplate and how passive this man's account is. He repeats boilerplate nonsense about domestic violence -- nobody talks about it, people need to be "educated" about it, etc. -- that bears little relevance to his own personal issues with his girlfriend. His video is heavily edited, which speaks to calculation all by itself, but for a professional like him to "accidentally" release such a personal video is a dubious proposition, at best.

He talks about how he thought "he would never have to discuss something like this," as if he expected his life to be free of struggle, disappointment and pain. He doesn't even mention the person's sex at first -- once again, another obvious calculation to engender views -- and he spends quite some time describing how this person made him feel. He goes on to discuss how this abusive "somebody" made him do all of these horrible things, as if he was some sort of impotent, passive object being brandished about by some fearsome bully.

All of his itinerant rambling are framed in this wide-eyed, passive sort of way that a five year-old might describe something painful happening to him. One might be argue that he does this as a way of distancing himself from pain, but the more likely conclusion is that this is just an aspect of his personality: an overgrown child who invites trouble because he's a boy living in a man's world.

If a person or a couple make their income off outrage / emotional / hysterical youtube videos, why are we all surprised to see them producing outrageous / emotional / hysterical videos?

All those top youtube video producers are idiots if they don't collude to create drama for more views. Consistent high traffic on their videos = $$$$$$$.

I really don't see how the future cannot be FUKT when you have an entire generation of youth that has been brought up on social media, video gaming, and YouTube attention whoring.

Hopefully I'm somehow wrong about this and being a typical cranky older person but it really just seems very obvious and inevitable. Hopefully kids will start to wake up and rebel against drinking the Zuckerberg Kool-Aid.

People who don't have strong boundaries, often cross others boundaries, because they aren't even away of their own.

That guy has terrible boundaries. He likely didn't even realize he was leaking her personal details, because he doesn't have boundaries with fans. He got shit from her because he has no boundaries with her either, and a woman with fame + looks requires serious boundaries.

Was their hitting? Who knows. Our society says that crossing someone's physical boundaries is unforgivable, but all other boundaries of privacy are not as important. I could see her responding to repeatedly having a weak man violate her boundaries. I could also see him manufacturing a claim because he has no boundaries and doesn't know how to express how "hurt" he is.

Of course he's hurt. People who don't have good boundaries tend to get hurt. He frames himself passively (she maaaaadddeeeee me do all those things!) because saying no would require boundaries.

And yes, I'm aware they've switched masculine and feminine roles, but lets talk about that.

This guys is obviously very feminine, but before he becomes a man, he needs boundaries. Women at least know how to say no. We just assume the problem is how feminine he is because we associate boundaries with masculinity, and believe women when they say they say "he maaaaadddeeeee me do it!" but both genders have agency. Speaking of feminine men, do you think David Bowie would put up with this shit? He's not even emulating the best of the feminine...

What we have is broken men emulating broken women.

If he was to emulate healthy women, and she was to emulate healthy men, they'd actually have a functional relationship. It might even work for them in some strange way. But the feminine is hugely screwed up - no boundaries, attention seeking, and craving manufactured drama.

She is right when she says YouTube has a problem. It's the problem are entire culture has - toxic feminine energy.

I've always wondered about this type of display that is so common with youtube "celebs." It's designed in the same way that those live action children's shows appeal to children. They need lots of colors, loud noises, stupid faces, and distracting cuts to keep children interested.

People who watch this are most likely massive introverts with low emotional intelligence who surf youtube all day. The exaggerated happy and cartoon like emotions probably fills a void in some dullard who doesn't experience much real emotional input.

This guy also has one of the most punchable faces ever. His bald faggot head, goofy toothy smile and mannerism. All very punchable.

Has anyone corroborated the story? Seems like it's a complete hustle to get more views for him and the ex-gf. Guy's a tool, but he's a hustler for sure.
