I saw the thread title and immediately thought of this:



Back when I used to work in retail, there was a McDonald's down the road from me and every now and then I'd get chatting with some of the staff on break.
Apparently they have a code system where the staff would call out specific phrases to alert the others without customers suspecting. For example, if there was a raging supercunt out for blood in the store, the assistant would call out for the manager and add 'Extra helping of red' (edited) as a warning of what was about to transpire for them.
If it's true then the only thing the stores colleague was guilty of is not using the right code.
