Manchester women "fat & disgusting': Russian journalist describes her experience

It's not just us lads. Putin is steering the cultural ship well. This chick seems to agree.

One Russian visitor is quoted saying: “Their women are so fat, they look disgusting to their men.

“You see, they eat so much fast food and potatoes.

“And they drink beer from huge glasses. Here is the result.”

She claimed gay people openly holding hands and kissing was “disgusting”, adding: “It is such a pleasure that there are no such gay streets in Moscow”.

Titko also claimed a rise in the number of “with non-traditional sexual orientation” in Russia was because “their mothers did not beat them enough when they were kids”.

She demanded: “Let’s remain Russian. Let’s start normal families. Let’s give birth in legal marriages. And [let’s not] mix love and debauchery.”

Sounds like the only kind of demanding bitch I'd put up with.

I have to start reading Russian newspaper more often!! She thinks exactly what is on my mind when I go out in the west.

Firstly, and the answer you're all waiting to hear the most: WNB.

Secondly, Manchester is VERY left-leaning, and yes, rainbow flags are to be found everywhere around Pride time. The Gay Village always gets brought up in the list of the city's attractions for some reason, even though it's nothing more than a collection of bars next to the canal side. I doubt it's any worse than the red light districts of Berlin or Amsterdam.

Regarding the state of the city's women, it's no worse than any other large city in the UK. It comes down to how annoying you find the local accent.

I love the city fiercely but it has its problems.

But just because Manchester isn't any worse than Middlesbrough, say, doesn't invalidate this Russian journalist's observation that the average woman in the UK, especially up north, is fucking huge.

I'm not saying it does. I'm simply giving my comments, as invited, on her observations about my home city. I can't comment in how our local women compare to those in Russia, though her comments correlate with those of a lot of posters on here.

I've since seen more flattering pics of her in the - inevitable - article in the local paper's site, so MBAA (May Bang After All).

From my own personal experience the women up north (Manchester / Liverpool / Cardiff) are in general fatter and wear more make up than the women in London.

I can't stand the accent either.

Friends of mine have had easier lays up north than down south.

Might be worth the trade off to some.

I just met a girl in Saint Petersburg who, like me, studied in the UK. And like me she was happy to leave. Eastern European girls often have romantic, naive notions about western countries. But she was completely disillusioned. We made the same experiences despite having been in different cities: Women are horrible, and british "drinking culture" is a degenerated shit show.

I think the article is funny, and it was outrage shared by two girls I know on facebook. "It's 2017" etc. As Praetor alluded to, the 'Gay Village' is as much a village as Chinatown is a town...it's a couple of bars on a little street.

As I've argued before, there are plenty of hot girls in Manchester, and it's got lots of investment at the moment and is attracting lots of foreign girls from mainland Europe. French, Italian, Polish...which I'd say puts it ahead of somewhere like Middlesborough. Not just because of the foreign girls, but wealthier cities tend to have more middle class girls who tend to be thinner. The British girls do have some big downsides. British men have always been big drinkers, but the 'laddish' girl behaviour is a (relatively) recent phenomena that isn't really tied to class either. I've seen 9s from the home counties get just as trolleyed on a night out as a 6 from some small Northern town.

Haha UlteriorMotive...I wouldn't call Cardiff "up north", it's in Wales! You must be a Londoner I think you get hot birds anywhere really. But obviously the fatties make it more difficult. Since we're talking about cities that are considered 'up north' and a bit working class, off the top of my head Michelle Keegan (Manchester), Cheryl Cole (Newcastle), and Abbey Clancy (Liverpool) are pretty good exports. I agree on the makeup—some really overdo it.

When my family visited me where I live now in Central Europe the first thing my Dad commented on was the slimness of the girls (and people in general) and I said to my Mum how much nicer it was not have Pakistanis everywhere..."yes, it is almost totally white isn't it"...I couldn't get much more out of her.

That's one of my issues with Brexit. We've left the monster, but we're still ruled by globalist elites beholden to international capital—both mutually committed to constant population growth for a myriad of reasons. In the EU, we loads of Poles etc which sucked for the trade class as it stagnated their wages and increased their competition (the left completely betrayed their core principles when the white working class voted for Thatcher)...but I'd much rather 500,000 Poles to 100,000 Pakistanis. Anyway, don't want to derail too much.

Haha. The old class thing. Take two people from Manchester...

Exhibit A has the strongest Manchester accent I've ever heard in my life, so strong it almost morphs into Scouse. Exhibit B has a regionally unidentifiable English accent but is Northern in the way she would pronounce "grass", "bath" etc, and isn't bad on the eyes either.
