A police on duty in his vehicle was shot at close range in Philadelphia last night.

The cop returned fire and struck the piece of shit who was later apprehended by other officers.

Tough cop. Gotta love it.

Meantime, even though the shooter was in muslim garb and he claimed to have committed this crime in the name of Islam, let's not anyone jump to any conclusions! Maybe he was just disenfranchised by racist coworkers.

Update....some police spokesperson is now saying "I want to say this has nothing to do with Islam whatsoever and this crime is in no way associated with the great religion of Islam"

A big problem for the US is that a lot of these Islamic militants are natural born US citizens, the guy seems like a black convert – how will they deal with that? Even if the US lets in nobody from the Middle East, there's still plenty of guys like the shooter running around who are already in the US.

You forgot to add that the shooter was the worst shot ever. Fired 13 times with his arm inside the car window. Hit 3 times, all of which were not fatal. What is this guy a stormtrooper or something?

Things don't add up here. I'm just glad I'm not American.
The suspect is an American who lives 7 miles from Philly.
His mother says he's been 'hearing voices in his head'. My own first impression was that this must have been a mentally ill individual.
How many Americans are thought to support ISIS? Is it proof of anything that a man wearing a robe claims this was a crime motivated by ideology? Thus this begs the question, what is his background ? Does he have a criminal record?
The mayor capitalises on a near double killing and promotes the anti-gun campaign.

This last week they just arrested two more ISIS terrorists. Both were born overseas. Keep in mind that Congress approved bringing over thousands more Syrians, the vast majority of which are Muslims. The problems that are manifesting themselves in Europe right now will continue show up more in the USA just like they did in San Bernardino.

It's hard to believe any of the statements from relatives. She may be setting the grounds for his defense.

Notice how no relatives come out and say, "Oh yes, a group of them meet every week and talk about their terrorist plans." It's always, "he acted alone" (until new conspirators are found), "He's not a true muslim" (even though the Koran teaches these tactics), "He's mentally disturbed" (but they never reported that or sought help).

If the perp dies, you also hear that he's a gentle giant, starting college in a few weeks, active in the church, etc. - any lie to demonize the police and get a bigger settlement.

Could be the guy is just plain nuts. There is some 6ft 6 homeless guy with a long beard around my town who does odd jobs and claims to have a direct line with the prophet.
If nothing else, maybe someone will start to wonder where all these American women who run around in the full ninja gear are coming from. Is there some kind of movement underway? Hello, does anyone do research on this phenomena? Are we not supposed to notice them? I don't usually see the American men converts walking around in tunics, but you'll often see their women following respectfully behind.
