I divorced my ex wife who I did not know when I got married what BPD was let alone the fact that she had it. Once she was diagnosed everything made sense (all the fights, feelings of abandonment etc). I draw the analogy as I was the victim of verbal harassment and such, and as a victim I had to remove myself from the relationship.

Hardest thing I have done. There are a lot of resources on the internet, but I would encourage anyone who is on the receiving end of a BPD partner best wishes and do what your heart tells you is right.

This is one scary disorder and the victims usually aren't aware of what their partners have until it's too late.

I actually believe understandbpd's story in regard to his relationship with a bpd in entirety...including the defecating part. Aside from the defecating nothing was that outrageous. I'm sure plenty of guys on the forum have performed golden showers. Tag the sponsor shows a number of girls get shit on as well.

It's good that you got away from her. People with BPD especially those who haven't got it under control are incredibly dangerous. A close family member of mine has it. Having had so much experience around I can safely say if I ever met a girl who I suspected had BPD or I knew had BPD I wouldn't have anything to do with her.

I do think also that she has other Personality Disorders as well, not exclusively Borderline Impulsive alone.

Other things which are unusual, which she did. The main problem is that she also
noticed that because of her beauty, the society tend to forgive everything outrageous an extremely beautiful girl does :

44. She told me her friends knew that she talks often about demons, shit (fecals) and satan, that she has some sort of inclination towards this.
That her parents told her that all the health of the human being can be checked
in the shit, so she would always look in the toilet after finishing her needs,
to check how her stool looked like.

45. She would repeat often "buy me plastic surgeries or I break up with you"

46. All of her decisions or opinion were instant impulsive reactions, she did not
think before talking or doing something, she only reacted impulsively in an instant.

47. She did not keep her promises usually, she would forget a promise that she made and then ignore it.

48. She had Favourite Persons in every one of her jobs: people she was attracted to and telling me she wants to have babies with them, even if sometimes she did not even talk to the respective persons.

49. She faked her CV, large part of her official documents when she declared something in official registration papers for example.

50. She was very excited studying for universities admissions, but then could not keep up and abandoned each of the studies she was admitted into.
So she changed many faculties: she was getting bored in less than 1 year of each faculty studies : cosmetics, polish literature, chemistry in politechnika. (1 year each)

51. She had the emotional enthusiasm of a 3 year old child: she would often tell me to come smell her ear because it was stinking very much, or she was farting very much and very disgusting intentionally after any product that contained milk.
Chocolate would usually make her hyperactive and aggressively / negatively talking
nonstop for hours, until late hours of the morning (6-7 am).

52. She did not take the time to admire a nice place or a nice landscape she was at. She was behaving anxious to constantly move without stop, run, exercise, had a hard time often to just sit still.

53. She was staying naked in ground floor apartment, but when I pulled the curtains she made a big scandal because "it is her body and her choice if someone sees her naked or not!"

54. I didn't go with her on the exact way and steps she wanted, so she didn't let go of my fingers so hard that she almost broke one of my fingers.

55. She wanted very brutal sex, she explained me that she wants anal sex plus to be strangled very hard because only so she can have orgasm (she said that for a moment the brain stops receiving oxygen and that makes the orgasm stronger)
which I found it very strange, and basically unable to satisfy her requests.

56. Her fulfilled fantasies with clients of prostitutes were very extreme: she performed ass licking of her clients, anal sex and oral sex without protection,
with one client while staying locked in leather and chains like a dog,
and with the other she wanted to have his sperm on her face and then to be hit
with banknotes by him - the payment for her prostitution sex acts.

57. She said she won't feel sorry when her parents will die.

58. She would complain daily very much about everything that surrounded her,
at her job, everywhere. She was requesting that I come with her everywhere,
"to protect her" (against other men that may rape her).

59. She imagined diseases of her leg, of her bladder, of her hormones, of her skin, that none of the doctors could find or treat, because all her "diseases" were imagined.

60. She was justifying that in her opinion life of humans is a mistake, that humans are some sort of cancer for the planet, and a "genetical mistake".

61. Each time I helped her, she was becoming more evil towards me.
Each time I was indifferent towards her, she would be warmer and try to get closer to me.

62. When she was angry (quite often) she told me: "Die in dirt!" , "I hope you die faster" , "Jump in front of train and die" , "If you love me, prove it by jumping in front of the train!", "Imagine how your mother is dying!" and other variations on the same absurd subjects that she enjoyed by herself, while I was only constantly surprised by the level of insanity contained.
I only very much recently realised that she was proud of the fact that she pushed a collegue girl to suicide when she was in highschool.

63. She never had made any savings, she used to spend in shopping sprees close to 1/3 of her salary or any money I would give her, on the first day of receiving.

64. Usuall sleeping schedule was 6am - 13pm, she was making herself strong teas just before going to bed, and the teine in the teas of course kept her awake,
but she was convinced that the tea before bed is a good idea, never making the connection between the teine and the impossibility of her falling asleep.

65. She would automatically impulsively assume the opposite position to whatever opinion I had and I told.

66. She was never wrong, and she never considered that she has done anything wrong. Even sex with clients of prostitutes, she regarded it as "just a fantasy
that I wanted to fulfill for a long time".

67. She was very easy to influence by whoever stayed close to her at that moment, and she was very easy to influence even against her own interests, by example she often signed contracts with others against her own interests.

68. In the late stages of the relationship, the moment that she made a request that I accepted, instantly she no longer wanted it only because I said yes to it

I apologize in advance for the choppy, long story, and I hope it helps.

Wow. Where to begin. I've known of my particular BPD/NPD woman for 5 years or so...ever since she would pop in every so often at my old job at a liquor store. She was flirty, but I just did my job, as I was married at the time, and she really wasnt my type with different hair colors every other month, crazy overuse of makeup, bras and shirts too small for her large features. Looking back, she had this arrogant walk to her that struck me as odd. She wound up applying for an open position at my store some months later, and my business partner and I decided she wasn't a good fit. I contacted her and let her know.

My marriage was trashed and I was down in the dumps knowing it would need to end at some point, but I struggled to pull the trigger. Texting with the other woman became more frequent and it felt like I had simply made a new friend, until she kept sending nudes. Wow, felt great that someone was clearly interested in me, and made me feel like the man I thought I am which clearly wasn't how my wife treated me. The wife was constantly traveling for work, and over the next 4 months or so, we hung out, usually at a local bar. Eventually, it all culminated with my wife and I tolerating living together until we both had attorneys and lived apart.

Yep. The sex with the BPD was incredible. I felt alive, and she was everything my wife wasnt. I couldn't seem to escape her. Felt maybe this was who I was meant to be with, though figured it was because I was also doing something I shouldnt be doing. Either way, I was having fun, living up, doing whatever I wanted for a change.

About 9 months in, she claimed she was having a miscarriage. I already knew she wasnt marriage material or worthy of me staying with her long term, but the bad hadn't outweighed the good yet, or so I thought. My head was up my ass dealing with everything surrounding my divorce that I didnt really live in the present.

Her quick, anger outbursts came out of nowhere and nothing seemed to stop them. Over 3 years, I had hopped out of her crappy convertible at stop lights and called for a ride, I had spent many nights in hotels to escape her and hide, her drinking became (or was more visible to me) incredulous. I was told I wasnt giving her enough attention and I fired back at her "duh, you went after a married man, what the hell did you think was going to happen?" Clearly I didnt have any business being in any relationship, and being in the middle of a divorce couldnt have blinded me to the BPD woman any worse. The sex was too good, and she even brought in another woman: her boss.

By now, I moved back home with my parents, changed jobs a few times (including a new career), and the BPD got even less and less attention from me. She would pick and choose which fights meant we were "broken up" enough for her to go do her own thing. Some I caught her doing, many I'm sure I'll never know about.

After I got divorced, the BPD claimed to have another miscarriage. By now, I should have counted my blessings and ran like hell. I was still trying to figure out my own crap, having post divorce fun (BPD worked at a Casino), and just living the dream really with a wad of cash from the Divorce, few bills, and even less responsibility. What could go wrong?

Well, the second "miscarriage" wound up being a pregnancy. She had NO clue of it until she was 4 months along (I call B.S.), so I shifted gears, decided to man up, and bought a house.

This is when things really became clear that something isnt right with her. I broke up with her and ditched her as a her date to a wedding one week before my son was born. I could not take her ups and downs, gaslighting, blame, irresponsibility...etc anymore. But, I hung in there as my son deserved me to put all that aside and be a good Father (my first).

As I was moving her into the new house, she would sit in the corner and cry endlessly. I encouraged her to get some help for post partum, which she finally agreed to, and took her to the ER. She hadn't been working since a couple months before the pregnancy due to possible Preeclampsia. I knew she had been drinking before and after the birth, and she couldnt nurse.

Mind you, she has a 12 year old daughter too from a prior marriage and once we all lived together, it the BPD would verbally destroy both the daughter and then turn on me...for hours. Christmas came, the BPD ignored the docs advice for "PPD" help, so I lobbied for her to go back to work. She refused. I locked myself in a spare room for 3 days before xmas due to her erratic, overall nasty and verbally abusive behavior.

Christmas Eve came and she confronted me about ruining her Christmas. Still not having really made a dent in putting the new house together, she began chasing me around the house with a drill gun, throwing my drum set at me and against the wall, and being more angry than I had really ever seen from someone ever in my 35 years. I wound up tipping over the xmas tree to get her to stop. She called the cops on me and I too returned the favor. When I went out to smoke, she locked me out of the house.

I didnt realize it was her at the time, but my car had been keyed to the cost of 5k to repaint it. 4 months later, she admitted it was her, then quickly blamed me for it since I didnt give her enough attention. She would tell me I'm a pussy, and to get over it when I would express my feelings about it.

Her car was broke down, so she was borrowing one of my parents cars (which she had an accident in and verbally attacked my stepfather when he asked her for information related to the accident). So she called her boss and they took the kids. I didnt see her for a few weeks...or my 2 month old son.

I figured things had cooled off, and invited her over. This is about the time when the hot and cold, breakups and back again became closer together and more frequent. I don't recall quite a lot as I entered a period of doing what needed to be done for me so I could do best for my Son. Things were okay for a few weeks until she got super nasty again and slapped me across the face one night when I asked to hold my son. I filed for a protective order against her the next week and kicked her out. I lost because her boss lied for her.

She was back again after that after having blamed me, and truly making it out to be my fault. I asked her to attend AA and quit drinking. I took my son to the doctor only to be told his insurance on her policy had been terminated. She wouldn't give me is SS # so I could get him insurance. I had to cancel my own insurance so I could pay for her to basically sit on her ass all day, drinking.

I kept finding empty booze cans all over the house. Still find some to this day. Her car would have fast food cups filled with booze as I would go through her car when she passed out. I began going through her phone and finding texts from other men and friends discussing past partying with her (though she swore she had quit).

Over the next 9 months, I had 2 more protective orders against her (which she violated), I filed for full custody of my son (she did too, but botched her paperwork), caught her doing more shady stuff with other men, tried to enlist help of her friends and family (to no avail), and I filed police reports against her for domestic violence (she was on probation for a year, which she violated and subsequently served 2 weeks in jail for), I won full custody (she didnt even show up for the hearing), she had an ectopic pregnancy (allegedly mine) which I chose to leave her alone when she was clearly in massive pain. Her daughter called an ambulance and the BPD was about an hour away from dying due to stomach bleeding. I brought some things to her at he hospital and told her to find her own way to somewhere else to live.

She changed her address 5 times, some of the places several different times, including her bosses house. I came home from a quick overnight trip to find her in my house, kitchen floor 2 feet deep with everything broken. Apparently, my material possessions were too much competition for attention to her. She tried to squat pee on my shoes (I recorded it on video, and have about 30 that show her behavior.) I even posted it to facebook for a few hours until my therapist called and asked me to remove them. Her side was upalled, mine just laughed.

She got fired from her job after being warned her attitude sucked. Got unemployment (which wound up being rescinded, but not before she blew it all on garbage). She cashed out her retirement and blew several thousand in a week. None went towards the household or our Son. Since may of 2017, she had worked for 3 whole months, and owes 10k on child support arrears. She never comes to see him on her days for visitation. She only sees him if I am the one to pick up and drop off.

I asked her to get rid of her dog, as I had a small dog. I was overly protective of my dog as I'd lost 2 court cases against my ex wife for her reneging on agreeing to pay a large vet bill for the dog while we were married. Yep..the BPDs dog bit mine and killed her. Never a penny from the BPD for the vet bills. She tried to console me, and I kicked her and her daughter out..again.

My entire garage was filled with her crap for over a year. Finally had a junk guy haul it all way after asking the BPD to come get her crap, but never did.

I cant count how many times I locked her out of the house, to her her keys and shoes at her, and then left with my Son. Came home to a busted window she threw firewood at in order to break in. Cops had been to my house so many times prior that they didn't even show for 4 hours when I called to report a break in.

She had a habit of engaging in conversations over text with people, then passing out drunk for so long that whoever she was talking to would call the cops on me. They would find her on my couch, drunk, having pissed herself. In prior visits, cops would make ME leave my own house since she was too drunk to drive. This time, they hauled her off and she was verbally abusive to them the entire time.

Shes been pulled over for expired car registration, lost license plates (she blamed on a group of gypsies living in her old apartment, though I found her tag near my house some 15 miles away). Shes been arrested for failing to renew vehicle tags, driving with no insurance, and a suspended license. She owes money all over town to the state, hospitals, people.

Final straws were late last year when she admitted confiding in a male coworker because "I wasnt available anymore.) I had always told her if she sleeps with someone else...kiss me goodbye and she admitted sleeping with him. The only boundary I seemed to have left that I hadn't allowed her to shatter. I also met someone else who has been incredibly supportive, though being without the drama and dealing with the trauma the BPD inflicted has been a challenge.

The current GF has witnessed the BPD anger firsthand too.

I ignored the BPD for several months this year. If she wants to see her son, cool, call me and let's make plans. She never has. She only sees him if I do all the work, which I tried a few weeks ago and it's just not worth exposing my son and myself to that behavior. I had given her extra time with our son, only to have it thrown in my face and more verbal abuse. She didnt even buy diapers for him. Enough was enough

After not hearing much other than a few woe is me emails from the BPD from May to July, I received a phone call early July while on vacation that the BPD was missing. I laughed and said she isnt missing. She ran off! Apparently she had enough of living with her former boss, raising her kids and living there rent free, so she latched on to a man 15 years older than her.

It was odd that she "disappeared" without a trace for 5 days and contacted no one as she is a woman who is glued to her phone. Her phone has been turned off since last year, but is always near wifi. She also told everyone I kicked her off my plan, and kicked her off my health insurance. Both untrue. She even extorted her stepfather out of $1500.00 days prior to disappearing. She claimed she told him it was for back child support (never saw a penny) and she told me she gave it away to a high school friend so he could see his kids. B.S!

Her daughters father took custody of her daughter last fall. So shes lost both of her kids in a years time. She has no job, no car, no money, just got out of jail, living with a guy who also did time for domestic violence, I have no known address for her (and am 100% A OK with that), and she burned most of her bridges with her little disappearing act (except her brother, who is a heroin addict and possibly BPD also).

At this point, I stand tall, shed the victim mentality and have moved forward. It will take some time to sort through things, but I now see in myself why I allowed much of it to happen, including getting involved with her in the first place.

Fortunately for me, she is mostly all bark. She hardly ever calls to talk to our son. She blames me for not seeing him, so I dont worry too much about her retaliating or even showing up at my house.

What a nightmare. What doesn't kill us does make us stronger.

This will be my first post on RVF. I'm not new to male improvement forums in general but I'm new to this forum, so be easy on me.

I have to admit that I've been reading this forum thread and other related threads and websites for days...

... but I haven't mustered up the courage to post yet. The experience is just too painful, so I've been procrastinating first with creating an account here and now with writing about my 4-month-horror-BPD-experience.

The last 4 months have truly been horror. (Actually only the last 3 months were horror, while the first month was me feeling like I'm in Seventh Heaven... I've never felt happier in my entire life than in that one month... And now while writing, I realise that I've never been unhappier than in the past 3 months.)

And I'm so glad that a friend of mine recommended me to read about Borderline Personality Disorder here on RVF (because my friend had the exact same experience with a chick, just 9 months ago). Another friend of mine knew 5 minutes into listening to my story of the last 4 months that my girlfriend was borderline.

I overlooked EVERY single red flag there was for the last 4 months. I don't recognise myself. I threw all my principles overboard for this chick (Literally ALL of my principles). I always stuck to my principles regarding women, but once she got me started with neglecting my principles, it never stopped.

She broke up with me 2 weeks ago.

I told the whole story to at least 20 good friends, and the first reaction of most of them is "Man, you just dodged a bullet. Be happy she broke up with you after 3 and a half months and not after 3 years".

Logically it totally makes sense and I fully agree. Emotionally it's still a bit tough. To the point that 2 days after she broke up with me I cried like a baby. I cannot recall that I have ever cried for a woman (or that I cried at all for anything!). After I found these threads, it got a little bit easier. Also reading some other sources on this helped a lot:

Going on 5 months now after having broken up with a BPD Russian girl. We spent with 1.5 years together. More than one year cohabitating. Boy was that shit a rollercoaster ride of poison dripping and love-bombing. Never again. I finally cut off all modes of commo last month. Feels good. Now I can truly begin to heal.

I found this a really interesting thread, along with the similar threads on this topic.

Funnily enough re your post choichoi, one that sticks in my head was also Russian.
Earlier in the thread it was interesting to note that BDPs in the early stage try and "bombard" you that "they are the one". And they can be VERY VERY convincing.
I'm in my 30s now and TBH, personality wise, the vast majority of hoes I've dated I've felt a bit "whatever" in terms of their actual personality when it boiled down to it. Probably only a couple of them (both Russian) did I think "wow, this IS the one".

The latter of the two seemed to have all sorts of shit. I was sure she was bipolar, but BPD seems to be a whole new level of that sort of thing. Add in alcohol abuse, danger seeking, depression and a few other things, you can see how their disorders seem to cluster, and give rise to potential misdiagnosis.

Ultimately, there are aspects to this that really puzzle me. We can read BPD articles and think "sure thats my ex, obviously". But the journals are saying 1.5 to 5.9% of people are BPD. Thats a pretty small part of the population. I'd think that 5.9% contains a fair few bipolars, sociopaths etc etc in it too. So it leaves me wondering, HOW common are these sorts of mental disorders?

Are there many people undiagnosed? Are the theories partly or largely just a fad, a fashion that doesn't really encapsulate people. For instance, I'm a firm believer that some people are just cunts, others are just idiots. Perhaps some doctors diagnose one disorder for a person when really they should be ascribed several?

In Game World, we probably come across a fair number of hot BPDs/psychonuts. If a HB9 wasn't a pyschonut, the chances are a little less that she'd be in free circulation at a club/during day game so much in the first place, yes?

Some of these "disorders" I think are being used to label people and even deceive to ridiculous levels. It seems every other hoe these days is claiming she has "anxiety disorder". Whereas in the past people would just say "I don't want to go to that party, I don't know anyone I like".

Perhaps a resident psychologist/psychiatrist can do a datasheet of main disorders and their prevalence?

It seems that many girls these days have something not quite right with them, particularly as you get older and date women in their 30s and over. I've met many who have the hallmarks of BPD and Narcissistic Personality Disorder. But then again, women have a tendency to be emotionally volatile and a little bit crazy, so not sure how many of them could actually be diagnosed with one of these conditions.

My most recent example was, yes, another Russian who introduced me to the concept of NPD (had never heard of the condition until I started researching her behaviour). The initial "love bombing" stage - where they present themselves as the sweetest, most endearing girl imaginable - is where the true damage happens; because you are forever trying to get back to the stage once the devaluing and emotional schizophrenia begins (and it usually begins around the 3-6 month mark). The Russian, though I only dated her for four months before I bailed, left such an impression on me that even now, one year later, I'm still dreaming about her. The spark and initial attraction I felt for this girl I have never felt for another, before or since. There was something electric happening, and that's not easily replaced.

Something that's seldom discussed in society is the harm women can cause in relationships without resorting to the kind of overt abuse some violent men are susceptible to in relationships. I dated a BPD for 2 years. She ended up sleeping with my best friend of 11 years. It tore my heart out. I was angry, depressed and lonely. However, I should've seen it coming. A good indicator of how 'stable' a woman is to look at the relationship with her parents. The signs were right there in front of me. But like other forum members have pointed out, you're so blind with lust and love you don't notice. Her Mother was ENGAGED to three different men in the sort 24 month period I was seeing her. She was in her early 50's, had four kids (oldest 28 and serving 5 years in prison) and drank half a litre of vodka with her tea. I met each guy. Your average middle aged dude looking to get back into the game. I heard each one fucking her when I slept over at her house. One night we were looking after her 10 year brother while she was at the local pub. She told us that she would be home at 10pm so we could go out with our friends. She didn't come home until 5:30am, slaughtered and necking on with a random guy she just met. I was shocked. My ex didn't bat an eye lid.

The relationship with her Father wasn't any better. Roughly 6 months later I was talking to my Mam about the ex. My ex had told her a story randomly one day about her dad. One day when she was 6, her dad picked her up, kissed her and said "I'm going to the shop for a pint of milk." For 3 years when the front door opened, she got excited because it might be her dad coming home with the milk. She never ever told me that story.

I had to cut the ex out completely because otherwise I would have either married her or got her pregnant. Or both. I mentioned that I saw this girl for 24 months in total. She slept with my BF 8 months in. That's how deep I was.

I thank both of them now. It happened to me at 19. I thank Mohammad every day it didn't happen when I was 37 with kids and a mortgage. I can related to a lot of guys here because I discovered the red pill trying to search for answers about what went wrong. I thank them both for opening my eyes to what can happen. I thank her for the good times because oh Lordy were they good fucking times.

Some of my friends still follow her on social media. She's had a kid with some dude and raising it on her own. I hope she's ok. Does any one else know what happened to their BPD ex after you?

The two BPD/NPD girls I dated were different after we broke up. One is still single (I actually reunited with her recently and she pulled the same shit me again, so I had to cut her out completely). While the other moved on very quickly. I think it depends on how hot they are; no matter how crazy, if they're at least a 6 they'll be able to ensnare another man very fast.

The question is this: how come the next guy tolerates her behaviour? Are the new guys so dicknapped that they stay in a toxic relationship?

Why did you see her again?

A person has to show a certain minimum number of traits to land the diagnosis, officially speaking. But, there's plenty of people that are "borderline" BPD - have a few of the symptoms and behaviors but not enough to garner the diagnosis, in a clinical sense.

In my clinical practice, I see the worst of the worst, regardless of diagnosis: depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, and so on. I've got too many stories to tell, most of them not appropriate dinner conversation. So I see the BPD and NPD patients that are truly acting out. An example of a narcissist, from my days in Florida, was an ophthalmologist who was smoking crack cocaine before performing surgeries on patients. He was caught up in the legal system because one of the office staff reported him. This guy was an insufferable bastard and never once acknowledged any ethical, legal, or moral wrong-doing on his part (there's much more to the story, trying not to make this post into a book). Expected everything to be handed to him, to have nurses wait on him hand and foot while he was detained on my psych unit. The point of this story is that these personality disorders are on a spectrum, from unmanageable symptoms without treatment to living their entire lives without encountering me in a clinical presentation, and also a person can have more than one. A patient can be BPD and bipolar, which is a hell of a combo.

The statistics on the various diagnoses are easily found and are extrapolated to the general population from direct patient contacts that are tracked. It's obviously an inexact science. My final point is that there are plenty of people who are either not diagnosed, or don't quite meet the criteria for a clear diagnosis but obviously lean heavily towards having one based upon their insufferable characters.

Red Flags:

I had a brief fling with a chick over the summer who met 8 of the 9 diagnostic criteria for BPD. She was 25, and initiating her second divorce. That was a mind fuck roller coaster like you can’t imagine.

I’m gonna say something that may even make you think I’m lying. That mind fuck roller coaster was the most intense thing I’ve ever dealt with and I have no regrets. These people are seductive like you can’t imagine. For a brief time, you will know exactly what it feels like to be the absolute center of someone’s world. The first time you fuck, they will hold nothing back. They will look you right in the eye, and in a sweet, feminine voice tell you “say you’ll never leave me.” And 30 seconds later she’s telling you to choke her harder. Within a week or two they’ll tell you they’re in love with you.

And then it starts going downhill fast.

Why do I consider my experience to be so good even though it was fucked up? Because she got me to embrace a more animalistic nature when it comes to fucking.

Nonetheless, I pity the poor bastards who wife them up.
