72 and sunny, I think you're fear mongering and the picture you're painting is out of touch with the reality on the ground. Canada isn't France, Germany or Sweden, we don't have hordes of uneducated Muslim immigrants in our country and never have, our top source countries for immigrants are China, India (mostly Sikhs and Hindus) and the Philippines and most of them integrate very well. Last Friday I took the Skytrain in Vancouver then spent about an hour walking around Granville Street, probably one of the busiest streets in the entire country. I likely passed a few thousand people and I did not see a single Niqab, Burka or Hijab, I didn't really notice many Middle Eastern looking people at all. I did however see tons of Chinese people and of course many whites but what always sticks out for me while in Vancouver is the amount of Oriental people. Of course Canada isn't immune to the problems that can arise due to Islamic immigration but I think that we're doing a decent job. Syrianguy already touched on this point in his post earlier in the thread. Looks like the Canadian government is prioritizing Christian refugees first. They will never say it out loud, of course, and I am surprised Maclean's even added that little bit in their piece, but it sounds like our officials know what they are doing and are targeting people who will assimilate best to our culture.

I was very concerned about the import earlier on but when you look at the number of people being brought in, it's very negligible. Now that I've learned that many of them are Christians or secular, I'm not too worried about it.

I also don't think Canadians as a whole are the cucks many think we are. If things ever degenerated to the level of Sweden, I think we'd see a lot of Canadians stand up and affirm themselves. The Canadian population is polite and tolerant, but that tolerance will only extend so far as it doesn't impact our laid-back lifestyle and the safety of our streets.

If we saw no-go zones and rape epidemics like in Sweden, I don't think it would last very long. That kind of crap would not be tolerated here. We are a meek people but not a weak people. Our hockey/lacrosse/football playing ways and brutal winters foster toughness while our military history (punching well above our weight in both World Wars) confirms that when the chips are down, we will be a force to be reckoned with.

In my father's lifetime, the UK went from a country with predominantly Irish immigration only, to one where muslim "boy scouts" are beheading whites on the streets of London.

I never met a Muslim or Jewish kid until HS.

Canada is ~85% white and always has been and always will be.

Actually I think that the ability of native men to stick their dicks into immigrant women is an excellent metric to measure how well they integrate into the host country, the immigrant men are also getting their skin, so everyone is happy, Canadians are pretty open that way, interracial couples everywhere. I'll preface my comment by saying that I don't know much about Canadian politics.

But I have visited Quebec City, Montreal (!), Vancouver, and Ottawa.

Canada's got a political and social culture that goes out of its way to accommodate and be nice to people. Canadians tend to be non-confrontational.

Unfortunately, this can mean that they are victimized by unscrupulous politicians, like this Mr. Trudeau. When I look into his eyes, I see an unscrupulous, opportunistic, politician.

He'll do whatever he needs to do to get into office. And if that means kowtowing before every PC idol on the planet, he'll do that.
