AJ,
It seems like a dual between you and I.
Keep 'em coming, brother.
I might be wrong, but I happen to think you're a far more relaxed person than I am. I'm not somebody who sits back and passively watch a problem or an issue as it gets better by the actions of others.
It is not that I'm trying to solve any problem on this forum, which obviously would be ridiculous, but exchanging some jabs at the known problems can be, well, entertaining.
We know all the factors involved with the Asian men, especially the issues with the so-called Asian-Americans, the people with Asian genes who grew up in the American culture, who feel estranged from the American culture as well as their native culture. We know most of them are angry; they won't make any sort of positive contributions that can help others. We can list all the factors on and on, we can analyze the Asian issues pages upon pages, but that won't help. We all know it anyway.
The two Asian-American men you have pointed out and linked to are exactly the part of the problem. The ones that aren't doing it right, enough, or are not doing anything at all. I know those types. I precisely know what kind of roles those men played in China and Korea throughout millenia. I have been vicious against those types, and chances are I'll never look on them kindly: I'm not a fan of those who drag themselves and others to filth. Those people made up the vast majority of Asia for thousands years and perhaps that's why Asia never took off, and perhaps never will. They think and act exactly the same way whether they are in Asia or elsewhere. Note that that's an objective assessment.
1. Those types, the Asian complainers, do one thing and stop there: they complain and curse their lot in life. And they do no more. They don't do anything to get themselves out of the predicament or situation that they don't like. They associate bad and negative vibe to their Asian faces. They are the living and walking speciemen of the bad and negative Asian stereotypes. They hate who they are, they hate their faces, and they want to exit to the white world while too well knowing they can't--this is why 'fit in better to the white world' can be a dangerous, misguided advice. If there can be a solution, they need to be able to accept themselves and start creating and attaching positive associations to themselves, especially to their face. My suspicion is that the majority of the Asians, native or western, are like that--complainers, and obviously that doesn't solve anything and compounds the problem as times goes on. In some sense, it's very human. How many people, regardless of culture and time and locale, really try hard to climb over the rut they're deeply in? Very few. The most simply get carried along with the decisions and actions of those who pioneer.
2. Then there are those western-Asians who proclaim fitting in better in the west will be a good solution. Well...it's a step ahead than the above, but in my opinion, this isn't good enough either. An ordinary solution will get you no more than ordinary results. Very few Asians get even this.
3. I'm simply pointing out a third option, the most difficult and challenging one of them all: Actively address and solve the problems. If you don't like the lot in your life, actively work to get what you like. Go beyond simply settling with what's given to you. If there's no positive identity or trait associated with your identity or face, then create them. How many Asian men are imaginative and audacious enough to work on tackling the problem at the source? I'd say virtually none. Do stop focusing on your own petty problems and do things greater than your own life: That is my view.
I'm not going to compromise and send the message to "settle for the less because you can't do better." (or worse: "you've given shit, just be and stay angry.")
I'm saying it can and should get better, and the only one who can do it is you: Be proactive and go beyond the obvious, don't just sit there waiting for others to do your job, instead take charge. Don't be hampered by what others think of you, nor even care about it. Go, do your own thing that makes great contributions to others. Be bigger than life itself. Serve others's needs before yours so that others would have the reason to serve you. Stand out. Don't cower and settle. Do something wonderful yourself. See and reach far beyond the mundane and get there. You can do it.
I know that the most Asian men won't get that; I know those few who get it will deny that they can do it themselves. But that doesn't mean I'd care what they think or what they can perceive or what they are capable of. I don't mind sending out my messages for those infinitesimally small number of exceptions who can hear and see.
If you want extraordinary successes in your life, you must do extraordinary things. The same goes for all areas of life, including seducing and bedding women.
Be ordinary or Fit in better is hardly the best advice of them all.
That is my voice.

This is a typical, traditional East-Asian bullcrap, a method to keep the populace down and control them. This line of reasoning was exactly a cause of the downfall of the traditional Asia. Don't even get me started on this. I refuse to have it.
Repeat after me: If it's traditional Asian thinking and acting, it's wrong.
For the record, I love those noisy, annoying, obnoxious ones who get the most attention and successes. Who gives a damn about the quiet, big guys? Nobody.
Believe me: God feeds the noisy and annoying ones the first and the most. The future and the world belongs to the obnoxiously misbehaved.
The world has had enough Confucian and Zen Buddhism crap. It's time for noise, it's time for bang, and I'm coming.

Which other race (besides whites) are deemed as global sex symbols?
How do you think other non whites established their global sex status (if they do have any)?
You whinge and whine about Asians but there are 1 billion on the planet and already people feel that Mandarin or Cantonese is about to be the number 1 language in the world at some point.
Through sheer numbers, Asians are just coming.
You speak lesser of athletes and you want to know about prominent Asian businessmen who are calling the shots, name me some non white businessmen who are calling the shots.
Are we talking about within North America or on a global standpoint?
I don't have any sympathy towards your plight. If you want to establish global sex status, watch the trendy Asians. Switch up your dress code. Start approaching women. Stop being such a scaredy cat. Either balls up or fallback.
Y'all got no problems.
Moma,
I think you mean well, and I appreciate your feedbacks, but I must point out there are some things you didn't grasp.
To the best of my knowledge, you aren't Asian, and there are some Asian issues that require a lot of exposure to those uninitiated. And no, these aren't some made-up issues that's in people's head: they are really there.
But, to address your points:
I was pointing out the fact that only the Asian men do not have the image of sexual desirability in people's mind. The white guys have it, the black guys have it, and the latino guys have it. Why not the Asian guys? Because they didn't make one themselves. They got no one but themselves to blame.
You misunderstood me if you think I'm whining. I was elaborating the sources of the problems. Defining the problem precisely always is the first step in addressing and solving the problems--know what you're dealing with and why, even if it's painful. Quantity vs. Quality is an interesting question, and in any case, knowing the Asians, I'm not really holding my breath on Asia (meaning China, the last bastion of the "Asian hope.") I pointed the lack of the Asian male sex symbol as the past failure or lack of proper work--that simple, but I do know that'll go muted to many if not most Asian men why and how that's an issue.
Nobody needs any sympathy from anyone. I'm saying the same thing: Man up and go the extra miles to solve your problems if you have any. I can't stand those who simply sit there and complain and do more damage to the existing problem, or offer a solution that won't make much difference at all. I'm not a fan of ordinary solutions. "Be patient, it's getting better": yeah, right, why can I or anyone take the action now and tackle the problem himself now? Nobody but you is solely responsible for your own well-being; there are jobs you need to do for yourself. I'm not very patient when someone says I must wait in getting what I want or the best I can do is no more than average.
There are challenges. Now, triumph over them. Go beyond the ordinary. Act now rather than later. That is my point.
