In all Pick Up videos, all the guys use cabs instead of driving the girl home. I never understood this.

Not sure what you find strange about this. I doubt it's 'all', and I'm sure it makes sense in the context. You'd have to post examples.

-Not everyone owns a car, especially in the EU, or in NY, Chicago etc.
-A car is a hindrance in most large cities
-Can't have drinks then drive home
-You're free to go where ever without having to figure out where to park
-She may have a car, and having two might be cockblocking yourself as you have to figure out the logistics
-Girl may not be comfortable getting to the car of a guy she just met
-etc etc

Mostly, it's that you don't know what could transpire, and a car is something that you'd have to take in consideration, which is not ideal. Of course, if one lives in a rural or suburban area then that's a different story. I'm guessing most pick up videos are made in urban areas though.

Well Phatom, in typical big Ballin cities like New York or LA, some girls don't even want to go anywhere that's not downtown since it doesn't scream status for them. Girls like that don't want to feel like they owe you anything, so if you give them a ride, they'll probably feel uncomfortable since you did something "nice" for them, and you run the risk of loosing the attraction.

That mentality is only present in those hardcore downtown kinda girl tough. Unless you have a super luxury car, for these type of narcissistic downtown girls, it's wiser to set up logistic close to your spot by commuting there, and then bouncing back to your spot by cab to "have a bit more wine and keep the convo going". Also they think it's spontaneous to bring them along for a cab ride. I know it sounds like some BS, but with these kinda downtown chick, any perceived niceness, like giving

them a simple ride, might make them scared by feeling that they'll need to reciprocate the niceness that you're showing them, and they want none of that! When giving a ride to a chick can make you loose a Bang, that's when you know that shit is fucked up in our dating environment! But Hey better to adapt then get no pussy!

Because she can still tell herself that she's not going to your place to have sex with you if you give her hamster an innocuous, legitimate reason to go. Taking a cab, you can say "lets just stop by my place, I want to show you X, then we'll head out to X bar". The commitment seems minimal.

And the rest of the points? Do you understand those? Right now you're picking out one item that doesn't makes sense to you when there are multiple other valid reasons.

As mentioned above, another reason is simply that those guys don't live where the videos are being filmed.

Those videos are mostly taken in large European cities where parking is almost impossible and most players do not drive or even own a car.
