If I use reason, when I look back at all the sex I've had I can't really say, "Yeah, that benefited my life in a huge way". I can say that somewhat for the relationships, but not the sex in itself.

However, I can look back at some of the sex, and relationships, I've had and say "Yeah, I wish I hadn't got that STD.", "Yeah, I wish I hadn't got her pregnant".

I'm not advocating abstinence because if an attractive girl wants to fuck me, I'm going to fuck her no doubt.

I just find it interesting from a logic point-of-view, but sexual desire tends to throw all reason out the window even though the pleasure is so momentary with any negative consequences so long-lasting.

Calling other men "gay" for having standards for themselves and perhaps for others is no different that women shaming other women for being "prudes". It just drags everyone into degeneracy. It's the lack of men having standards that's brought us into the predicaments we have today. I went to school with Tebow and met a few times. He's a humble and genuine guy.

He practices what he preaches. He's a devout Christian who really believes in celibacy before marriage.

In college, he had plenty of opportunities.

I don't know know him well, but I'm guessing he's just a good Christian guy who believes these things.

Seems like public relations engineering to me.

Absolutely. Even when I lived in Vegas and LA I knew dudes who were waiting until marriage. Decent looking dudes, in shape, good careers, frequent dates, girlfriends - every opportunity, just religious. Vegas has a lot of Mormons and about half of them waited.
